Practicing the Presence of God

As Philip was having his morning prayer time waiting to hear what the Lord wanted to tell him, His eyes were enlightened to the truth of God’s Word. The reference is found in the book of Judges 16:22, Samson and Delilah. You may feel as if your hair has been cut off, everything has been ripped from your grasp, and you can’t see what is going on around you. You don’t have the strength to make it any longer, and you simply don’t know what to do anymore. God wants you to know that He is in the restoration business! God will restore your life to you, and your hair will grow back in Jesus’ name. There’s a great testimony in rebuilding something after it has been shattered.

We have a ministry in the countries of Moldova and Ukraine called The Orphans Hands. Today you will meet a brother and sister who have been rescued from the risks of human trafficking, hungry, and many other horrendous things. They grew up in a forsaken place, but they have now found and experienced the love of Jesus by discovering who He has created them to be. To find out more about The Orphans Hands Ministry, please visit www.theorphanshands.org.

On Daily Faith, our guest is Pastor Rich Butler, who leads a spirit-filled, multi-locational church in Spartanburg, SC, called Hope Church. He wants to share the importance of God’s presence moving in our churches today, and how over the generations, we have taken the Holy Spirit for granted. We are living in perilous times in America, and we are in desperate need of God’s mighty power to move on the earth. We believe that the Lord is pruning His church, getting it ready for a tremendous outpouring of His Spirit. In whatever situation that you’re facing, when you ask, Jesus will send the Holy Spirit to be your helper in all things, guiding you into all truth. We hope that your faith is encouraged today.
