It’s Time to Go! – Daily Faith: Missions, Harvest, Kingdom of God
On Daily Faith, we have a special guest that we know you will enjoy. Pastor Craig Walker is the founding lead pastor of a multi-locational church, Upward Church, based out of Pensacola, FL. He is also a missionary, founder of Friends of Internationals, Inc., and author of many books. Pastor Walker has traveled throughout various parts of the world, preaching the gospel of Jesus for the Kingdom of God. He has recently released a new book, Born for the Extraordinary: When Your Life Aligns With His Purpose. Pastor Walker has been using video conferencing to reach the most remote locations throughout his travels, even before the pandemic hit the world. Just as he has preached to thousands and led many to Christ, Pastor Walker wants you to know today that God had a tremendous plan and purpose for your life. We all have a part in The Great Commission. That is to go with the authority of Christ to the ends of the Earth, making disciples of all nations. You don’t have to have it all together; you just have to be willing and obedient for the Lord to use you. The fields are white unto harvest, but the laborers are few. So don’t sit around wondering when your next big break will be. Instead, step out today and preach the gospel to those around you. You are not random DNA. God uses the ordinary things in life for His extraordinary plan, and You are destined for the extraordinary. Moldova is one of the most impoverished countries in the world. It has one of the highest alcohol consumption rates leading to death. Most of the children in Moldova are sent from their homes to grow up in an orphanage. Lost, abandoned, and rejected, these children have lost all hope. The Orphans Hands is the heart of our mission work. We have a village of homes in Moldova called Vatra Village and a house in Ukraine. We help rescue these orphaned children from a hopeless life and the terrible risks of human trafficking. From being told they are unloved and unwanted, we tell them that if they were born, God has a plan. Upon coming into Vatra Village, they have a chance at life to learn about the love of Jesus, discovering their role in the Kingdom of God. Our kids understand the importance of the great harvest. And their mission is to reach those around them who were once lost and broken as they were with the gospel message. We want to thank you for your continued prayers and support.
