America, Abortion, and the Bible
Joining Daily Faith today from Texarkana, TX, is the Lead Pastor of Church on the Rock, Pastor John Miller. Pastor John Miller has been ministering in the church for over 30 years. His vision for the church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ by connecting people to God and fulfilling the great commission. The word that the Lord placed within Pastor Johns’s heart is God’s truth on the current crisis that we are living in: America, Abortion, and the Bible. America’s foundation is based upon Biblical principles, where God is the Creator of all life, and the Bible is the living truth. The shaking in America has everything turned upside down. Instead of placing needs above our own, we’ve become more self-aware of what and how it makes us feel. Yet, that is not being a disciple unto God and sharing what He loves. When our actions align with our words, we won’t have to convince others about Jesus; they will see Him in our lives daily. The church is to be at the center, the helm of all issues in life. It’s time for our faith to rise in God’s promises, discover His truths, and proclaim them by faith to a hopeless generation. That kind of faith will withstand the darkest days, bringing you to the other side of the storm.

The Orphans Hands ministry has helped save, provide and care for orphaned children from a life of despair in many Eastern Countries. When the stench of poverty sets in for these families, they are forced to send their kids to live in an orphanage. In the orphanages, they are told that no one will ever love them or care for them. When they age out of the system, they are given a bus ticket back to where they came. The street corner is often the last thing they see due to the false hopes of the human traffickers. The Orphans Hands is the intersection between hope and brokenness. We have a village of homes in Moldova called Vatra Village and a former home in Odessa, Ukraine. Our kids share in Bible studies, prayer, and various outreaches to help those whose needs they once knew. The war in Ukraine has caused us to evacuate our home in Odessa safely, yet many families are left in despair. We see our kids’ unit as the church, responding to this crisis through faith and love. They are distributing food, blankets, and Bibles through our convoys of hope, as the word of God says. By your faithful giving, we have been able to send relief to the churches of Ukraine. Thank you for your generosity and prayers.
