Courage in Turmoil: Stand Firm in Faith

On Daily Faith, Pastor Rich Butler is with us to share a word of courage. In this hour, we need the courage to stand and fight for what we believe in. Pastor Rich is the Lead Pastor of Hope Church in Spartanburg, SC. They are a multicampus church expanding their borders for God’s Kingdom. The Lord gave him a word last year on expansion, and after many months of searching, they found the building for their newest campus in Greenville, SC. They have waited patiently and stood boldly against the enemy’s schemes while seeking God’s favor to make this old ruined city a new center of peace, prayer, and hope for the surrounding communities.

We are living in a world of great turmoil. The enemy is attempting to tear apart this great nation systematically. Yet, being courageous is not about standing on our own strength. Like Daniel, it’s about humbly submitting ourselves unto God, believing His word, and allowing God to strengthen us from within. For greater is He who lives inside us than the enemy’s spirit lives in the world.

With the Lord on our side, who can stand against us? Will you stand with courage today?

Our village of homes in Moldova Vatra Village and our home in Odessa, Ukraine, house over 75 girls and boys their families have abandoned. Often, many families find themselves trapped in a cycle of poverty and turmoil, devoid of even a glimmer of hope. Their children are forced to live in an orphanage without hope of reuniting with their families. After graduating from the orphanage, many are exposed to the dangers of human traffickers.

The Orphans Hands serves as the intersection point to care for their needs, enhance their education, and teach them about Jesus. Our kids have been given a second chance at life and are living boldly and courageously for Jesus. They go beyond the call, sharing Jesus’ love in a world marked by brokenness and emptiness. Our kids are at the forefront of the war zones, reaching out to Ukrainian and Turkish refugees and providing food, blankets, and care boxes in desolate places.

Witnessing how they give back to those who understand their struggles warms our hearts. In these dark times, our kids shine as beacons of hope. Will you join us in reaching more children for God’s Kingdom?
