• Finding God’s Favor Amidst Adversity

On Daily Faith, join us with Pastor Aaron Burke of Radiant Church in Tampa, FL. Radiant Church is a multi-campus church that has recently launched its 9th location in the Tampa Bay area. Today, Pastor Aaron shares a word of wisdom the Lord has revealed over the past few years about receiving God’s favor amid life’s disadvantages. In the Bible, the story of Joseph is one we can all relate to. Whether it’s life’s struggles, unfairness, loneliness, or abandonment, we have endured hardship at some point.

The biggest challenge we face during these hard times is keeping our attitudes aligned with the word of God. Our choices have the most profound impact on our situation. We can choose to be depressed or see the trial as an opportunity to grow our faith in God. Like Joseph, he dealt with unfairness and pain, yet the Lord knew that He had to get Joseph alone to reveal the deep motives of his heart. In the end, we can read how the Lord provided and blessed Joseph with favor in Pharaoh’s house.

If you’re struggling to find your way, pause to take a moment to renew your trust in the Lord, letting go of the past and embracing the glorious future God has in store for you. We can take heart knowing the scriptures says, “But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good.” Genesis 50:20

The Orphan’s Hands was birthed from a heart of desperation to help those in need. From that one spark of faith 35 years ago in Eastern Europe, it has blossomed with joy, touching the lives of countless broken and abandoned individuals for the Kingdom of God. Over the years, we’ve rescued numerous orphaned children, shielding them from the perils of human trafficking and abuse.

In Moldova’s orphanages, many children hear that no one will ever love them, they’ll never achieve anything in life, and their families will never return for them. As they transition out of the system, they face the risks and lies of the human traffickers. We have a Village of homes called Vatra Village and a house in Odessa, Ukraine that provides them with support and love from new family and friends.

Our kids, once forgotten, are living a life of freedom through the Scriptures. They have the unfair advantage of what the enemy meant, evil to harm them; God has turned this situation around for their good!

While the world may have forgotten our kids, God has not. They’re experiencing a revival that empowers opportunities, opening doors to extend their reach beyond their world to aid broken people.
