Since 1932, The Church Covington has been a no-judgment zone full of people who intentionally love people, restore the hurting, grow believers, and equip leaders.

We’re people from all walks of life, in all stages of life, working towards a common goal – growing in our relationship with God through Christ and the perfect word of the Bible. We will be a light in our community.

Originally from Houston, Texas, where they founded and pastored a church for more than 10 years, Pastors Darryl and Kristen Hooper were called to lead The Church Covington in 2017.

They packed up their kids, Joi’Elle and Jude, and their two dogs, Scar and Simba, and drove toward their future in Covington, Georgia. They are honored and humbled to continue a legacy that has lasted more than six decades.
