Now is the Time for Redemption
On Daily Faith, our special guest is Pastor Mike Ashcraft. He is the lead pastor at Port City Community Church in Wilmington, NC. We all know that this pandemic has hit our country hard, leaving many people in a desperate scramble to get back to the way things used to be. However, there is no going back to a normal way of living. Things have changed, and for some, for the better. Just because you have a hard time seeing beyond where you are in your current circumstance doesn’t mean that God isn’t working. God is in control, and He allows events and circumstances to go on in our lives to bring about something new. New things are not always comfortable to endure, and we want to bring encouragement into your life by sharing what the Lord is saying. God is looking for someone to step out of their comfort zone by trusting in His word. He wants you to know that there is hope in Him; there is healing and restoration from all of the things that have been stolen. God is in the redemption business! Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, and when you do, you’ll experience the faithfulness of the Father like never before! We hope that today your spirit man will be encouraged by the word of God. We want you to know that you are not here by mistake, that God has a plan and purpose for your life. We tell our kids that we helped to rescue; if they were born, God has a plan. God is the most outstanding conservationist there is. Nothing is wasted, and nothing is a mistake. God’s business is in the redemption business. He takes what has been broken, damaged and breathes new life into it. He restores all that the enemy has stolen. As the father waited patiently with expectation every day for his prodigal son to come home, it’s time to call out and take back what the enemy has stolen from you. Nothing is too big for our God.
At The Orphans Hands, the story of hope and redemption echoes loudly in our homes. For those who don’t know, we have a ministry of homes called Vatra Village in the countries of Moldova and Ukraine. We help to save them from a life of pain, misery, and deep sorrow. These girls and boys that we rescue are worth $300,000.00 to their traffickers. As they come into our homes, we share the love of Jesus with them, and by His salvation, they become sons and daughters of Christ. Your generous love and support has started a tidal wave of thanksgiving in their hearts that they would like to share with you from this video. Thank you!
