Just as Jesus turned the apparent defeat of the cross into the greatest victory in history, our most crushing seasons may be exactly what God uses to reshape and renew us. If we surrender to the process, our deepest defeats can become our greatest victories.

The demons danced, hell rejoiced. They had destroyed the first Adam, and now the second one was hanging on a cross. They killed Jesus. They thought they had won the battle, the war. It was all over. Earth was now open to them to do whatever they wanted. And that's how it stayed for a few days until the third day when Jesus rose again. Sometimes the greatest defeats in your life can end up the greatest victories. The stuff that breaks you and crushes you and makes you wonder if you're even saved, that might be the very thing that God's using to refocus, retool, remold, remake you into what He wants you to be. So listen, if you're in the crusher right now, hey, it might be the best things ever happen to you. If you let it, I promise it will change your life.
