Strongholds in Our Thoughts
On Daily Faith, we’re talking about our deadly thoughts, those nasty lies that the enemy likes to tell us over and over that we often believe. Have you ever thought that you aren’t good enough? That it’s too late, and you don’t have what it takes to make it? We all believe these whether or not we admit to it. There are many lies that Satan likes to tell us, and even as Christians, it can become a stronghold in our minds that hinders us from walking in complete victory. Our guest, Pastor Travis Hall, is the pastor of Life Church International in Duluth, GA. He has recently written a book called Seven Deadly Thoughts. He tells of his personal experience when battling the strongholds of his mind and from counseling others. He wants to help you be the overcomer in Christ that can see through the lies of the enemy. He wants to help you get beyond where you are by putting on heavenly glasses to see yourself as God sees you. God sees you as His child, joint heir, and courageous warrior. We want to encourage you to ask the Lord to renew your mind and give you peace. Keep your eyes on the Lord, trusting in Him to see you through. We believe that God is up to something! Often when you can’t see the hand of God moving in your life, it’s because He is working. God has great and mighty plans for your life. All He asks of you is to give Him your heart and to trust in His word. Stand on the promises of God. Don’t give up on what He has told you! He will never leave you, nor forsake you. You are in the hollow of His hands today. Just remember that a crisis point is often a point that brings new beginnings. Be blessed!
The Orphans Hands Ministry is the heart of what we do. We help to save and rescue abandoned children from the perils of human trafficking. The country of Moldova has the highest reports of alcohol abuse in the world. Many children are either kicked out onto the streets, sent to orphanages, or left abandoned by their families. They’re captive within their minds by thoughts and strongholds of abandonment and rejection. But God sees them. He sent us to an orphanage over 30 years ago to help save these lost children by share the love of Jesus with them. We have a village of homes in Moldova called Vatra Village. We take these children in, teaching about God’s love for them, and they are growing into mighty men and women for the Lord! Thank you for your generous support!
