The Gospel of Grace

On Daily Faith, joining us to share a powerful testimony of God’s grace is Pastor Rick Long. Pastor Rick is the Senior Pastor of Grace Church of Arvada in Arvada, Co. Pastor Rick shares the challenges of their recent building project to develop a community center. This center will help the church reach the lost and hurting by sharing the gospel of grace message with the community. While raising funds, the enemy threw a wrench in this process. However, it was not a match for God. As they cried out to God, trusting His ways, God was working behind the scenes, putting the puzzle together. God went above and beyond their needs, providing more than they asked. 

Pastor Rick wants you to know God’s purpose for your life. Everyone is in a challenging situation, yet each threshold we come to leads us to the next level of faith. When God asks you to take a crazy step of faith, it’s for His plan and purpose. As you trust in God, he will give you the desires of your heart according to His Word. God’s gift of grace cost Him everything, yet it’s free to all who accept it by faith. When we accept this gift, His love transforms our hearts from the inside out. God’s grace enabled us to rescue and care for the needs of those abandoned by the world. Many families cannot support themselves and have sent their children to an orphanage due to the lack of primary care. At a young age, these children grow up not knowing the love of a family or the power of God’s love for their lives. At the age of sixteen, they’re kicked out of the orphanage, subject to the false hopes of the human traffickers.

We have a village of homes in Moldova called Vatra Village and a house in Ukraine. Their lives have been transformed by the gospel message, and God’s grace enables them to reach those whose needs they once knew. Recently, amid the war in Ukraine, our kids are reaching the needs of others by distributing food, clothes, and Bibles to the refugees. To continue this support, we need your help. Our lease is up on our home in Odessa, Ukraine, and we’re hoping for a miracle by the end of the year.
