The Key is Love
On Daily Faith, joining us is Pastor Travis Rutland. He is the Lead Pastor of Restoration Church in Bethlehem, GA. Restoration Church is a non-denominational, spirit-filled community of believers. Pastor Travis also serves as the President of an international non-profit mission and ministry outreach called Global Servants. He is here to not only bring awareness but to enlighten the eyes of our understanding about Love. The heart of our heavenly Father towards His children is a heart of love, compassion, and grace. God loves us with everlasting love, that nothing can come between or separate us from His love. Pastor Travis wants to share this very truth with you in the book of 1 Corinthians 13, the love chapter. This chapter explains how we can desire all of the spiritual gifts, fancy words, and knowledge of the word, but if we don’t have the love of Jesus in our hearts, we have nothing at all. Love is the key and the answer to bringing God’s Kingdom here to Earth. It’s the answer for those who are lost and forgotten. The way you can take hold of this love is only by the revelation of the Holy Spirit. When we have this kind of love in our hearts, it unlocks every gift of the spirit. We pray that your heart is encouraged to grab hold of the Father’s love that surrounds you today! In the heart of Moldova, homes are often broken by alcoholism and abuse. They have been deemed the lowest in society and sent to live in orphanages, abandoned by their families. These young children are tired and worn out, desperate for love. During that time, they are told that no one will ever love them. When they become of age, they are rotated out of the system, hopeless and afraid to find a way on their own. This tragedy leaves these kids subject to the risks of sex trafficking and slavery. The Orphans Hands is the heartbeat of our outreach ministry. We have helped save and rescue wanted children from the traffickers’ perils and provided a safe and warm environment for them to grow in the ways of the Lord. In Moldova, we have a village of homes called Vatra and a house in Ukraine, together we house and care for over fifty children. By accepting the Father’s love through the Holy Spirit, God has changed their hearts forever. They have become sons and daughters of Christ, who are now missionaries to those who hurt them. The key is, Love. As our kids grow in knowledge and all spiritual gifts, they understand how the power of Jesus’ love saved their life.
