Pastor James Coffey: Seeking God’s Vision & Restoring Faith

On today’s episode of Daily Faith with Philip Cameron, we welcome Pastor James Coffey, leader of The Harbor in LaFollette, TN, a church committed to offering refuge and restoration to those seeking God’s presence. Pastor James shares a powerful word from 1 Samuel 30, where David faced deep struggles, lost his vision, and fought battles that weren’t his to fight. Like many of us, David grew weary and questioned when his hardships would end, asking: “How much longer, Lord?” But then, everything shifted. When David sought the Lord’s guidance, God responded with clarity and purpose. Pastor James relates this to his own journey of seeking God’s direction for the new year, both for his church and personal life. The Lord assured him that if he pursued His presence and advanced His Kingdom, He would expand his borders. Key Takeaways from This Episode: ✅ Seeking God’s Vision – When life feels overwhelming, turning to God for guidance brings clarity and direction. ✅ Restoring Faith Through Prayer – Just as David found strength in the Lord, we must rely on prayer and faith. ✅ Overcoming Spiritual Battles – Not every battle is ours to fight. Learning to trust in God’s timing is key. ✅ Advancing God’s Kingdom – When we focus on God’s mission, He brings restoration and provision. ✅ Finding Purpose in Pain – Every trial has a purpose. Don’t give up—God is working behind the scenes. Pastor James emphasizes that God’s heart for His children is to approach Him with childlike faith, listening to His voice and responding in obedience. 🔥 If you’ve been feeling lost, weary, or uncertain about the future, this episode will encourage you to seek the Lord, trust in His plan, and press forward in faith! Build a Strong Foundation in Christ with Pastor Thomas McDanielsFaith28m

Build a Strong Foundation in Christ with Pastor Thomas McDaniels

Joining us on Daily Faith is Pastor Thomas McDaniels. He is the founder of Life Bridge, host of the DayMaker podcast, Church Planter, and a dedicated Teacher of the Scripture. Pastor McDaniels has accomplished significant steps for the Kingdom of God throughout his journey. Today, his message centers on our foundation in Christ, urging us to examine our anchor—is it firmly fastened to the Rock, Jesus Christ? With a sure foundation, life's storms may batter us, but we won't falter. To establish a strong foundation in the Lord, we must immerse ourselves in the Word of God, seeking humility, clarity, wisdom, and strength. We can align ourselves with His purpose by inviting the Lord to reveal where He is working, considering His ways. It all begins with returning to the basics: reading the Word, praying, and taking action based on our learning. As we do this, we'll experience a wellspring of life bubbling up within us like living water, assuring us of victory in our battles. The truth found in God's Word serves as the answer to everything in life. Have you taken the time to sit and consider the ways of Jesus? How He would walk and talk with people that the world would cast off. How He let the little ones come to Him anytime during His journey. That is the compassionate heart of God our kids at Vatra Village have learned and experienced. As young children, many of the kids at Vatra experienced pain and suffering, hunger, and abandonment before coming. They were stripped of everything they once knew and forced to live a life that wasn’t theirs. The Orphans Hands ministry has rescued the lives of countless children who are now experiencing God's love through a loving family and friends at Vatra Village and in our home in Odessa. Together, their hearts are enriched by the word of God and established on a new unshakeable foundation. They have come together to host many Summer Camps in the nearby villages offering games, food, prayer, and studying the Word. Our camps are extensions of love and an overflow of God’s restorative power on display. We encourage you to learn more about the kids and their heart for outreach through our Constant Care teams. They are going and reaching those you can’t, but will you help them get there? To learn more about how to support The Constant Care Ministry through prayer and giving, visit www.theorphanshands.org. God bless you!

Embracing Seasons: Trusting God's Timing

Join us for a powerful message of faith from Bishop Jerry Grillo, the Pastor of Church One80 in Hickory, NC. Drawing from the book of Ecclesiastes, Bishop Jerry reminds us that life has its own times and seasons, each one beautiful in its own right. Whether we're going through the highs or lows of life, God is always present, helping us endure and rejoice in the journey. But sometimes, we face obstacles that seem impossible, and it's in those moments God allows us to pause and reflect on His goodness in our lives. We must let go of the past and allow Him to shift our focus forward. As Bishop Jerry says, "We can't bring yesterday's manna into our lives today." While we may not always see the next step, we can trust in God's plan and process, knowing He is faithful and will never abandon us. It's important to remember that God may be moving backward while we're moving forward, but there comes a time when we will meet, which will be His perfect timing. So join us and be inspired to trust in God's plan and process for your life. Bishop Jerry is also an author and motivational speaker, and you can learn more about him and Church One80 by visiting www.drjerrygrillo.com and www.churchone80.com. In these times and seasons of hardship, Moldova and Ukraine are fighting to survive. The war in Ukraine has forced thousands from their homes into lands they've never known before. In Moldova, alcohol abuse rates are among the highest, leaving many families fighting to survive. Their children are often dropped off at an orphanage, never knowing the love of a family. However, our homes in Moldova, called Vatra Village, help to bring warmth, peace, and the love of a family. Our kids find purpose in life during the pauses. They have endured many valleys and overcome obstacles, but through patience and faith, they are learning about the love of Jesus. Their lives have been transformed from orphans to missionaries for the Kingdom of God. Recently, our kids have been ministering to the needs of the refugees in Turkey, providing food, tents, and supplies. This devastation is incomprehensible, but through it all, the love of Jesus is shining through. We are asking for your help and support as our team cares for the needs of the Ukrainian and Turkish refugees during this time of pause. We know that all things are possible when God is in control. If you would like to learn more about how you can help us be God's hands extended in this time of desperation, please visit www.theorphanhands.org.
