Understanding Spiritual Healing
On Daily Faith today, our guest is Pastor Travis Rutland. He is the lead pastor of Restoration Church in Bethlehem, GA. He also serves as the President of Global Servants, a non-profit ministry organization working in Thailand and West Africa. Recently the Lord has opened the eyes of his heart to see healing brought to a new level of understanding and gave him essential keys on how to accomplish this. Some people only see God as a physical healer, but He cares about your spiritual well-being as well. When we accept Jesus into our hearts as Lord and Savior, we are given eternal life. Our bodies remain, but our spirits are alive with Christ in Heaven. Wherever you are on this journey of restoration and healing, know that the Lord wants you to not only be healed but made entirely whole in your mind, body, and spirit. We want you to know that God’s goodness and mercy shall follow you all the days of your life. No weapons formed against you shall prosper against you. Though the storms of life are raging all around you, you are safe in the Lord’s hands. As David went to the battlefield to slay the giant Goliath, he recalled the mighty acts the Lord performed in his life. It may have taken years of rubbing together to weather the stones David used; God already knew what it would take for David to defeat Goliath. As you recall the mighty tacts of goodness the Lord has done for you, you can push forward with strength, knowing that what the enemy has stolen from you will be repaid unto you seven times according to the word of God! Be blessed and encouraged today; the best is yet to come!
We have a village of homes in the country of Moldova called Vatra Village. It’s a safe place for once orphaned and abandoned children to live and grow into who God has called them to be. These children were once thrown aside with no one to care for them, and they were told no one loved them, and they would never amount to anything in life. The Orphans Hands Ministry helps rescue these unwanted children from the perils of human trafficking. By taking them into our homes, they get started on a path of healing and restoration from the love of Jesus. They become sons and daughters of Christ, who turn into mighty men and women of God, sharing the love they received with those who hurt them from the past. Today they want to give back to you by showing you a video they put together on what your act of love and support has helped them accomplish. Thank you!
