End Times Prophecy and the Battle of Armageddon with Steve Holcomb

About this episode

Steve Holcomb — businessman, Bible scholar, and end times prophecy teacher — joins Philip Cameron for an urgent conversation about the prophetic signs unfolding in today's headlines. Drawing on decades of personal Scripture study, Steve walks through the biblical timeline from the Battle of Armageddon backward, showing how current world events align with specific prophecies in Daniel, Revelation, Luke 17, and 2 Thessalonians. Steve explains his conviction that we are living in the sixth trumpet era of Revelation, warning that "a third part of mankind is fixing to die" before a seven-year covenant is signed — the very covenant that will reveal the Antichrist. He unpacks why the rebuilding of the Third Jewish Temple is the pivotal sign to watch, why the drying of the Euphrates River matters, and why the Church must stop tolerating spiritual compromise. As Steve puts it, "Jesus said when you see the abomination of desolation spoken about by the Prophet Daniel standing in the holy place — for then shall Great Tribulation happen as never was before." For more information about Steve Holcomb's teaching on End Times Prophecy, visit www.SteveHolcomb.org, his social media pages, facebook.com/greattribulationcoming. This episode is a clarion call to study Scripture, recognize the season, and live with urgency.

What's Discussed

Steve Holcomb, a successful custom automotive craftsman and self-taught Bible prophecy teacher, lays out a detailed biblical timeline anchored at the Battle of Armageddon and works backward to show where the world stands today. He argues we are currently in the sixth trumpet era of Revelation — a period that ends with a war killing one-third of mankind — after which a seven-year covenant will be signed, revealing the Antichrist. Steve identifies the rebuilding of the Third Jewish Temple north of the Dome of the Rock as the pivotal trigger for the Great Tribulation and the pre-Great Tribulation Rapture. He draws from Daniel, Luke 17, 2 Thessalonians 2, and Revelation 6 to make the case that current geopolitical chaos, the drying of the Euphrates River, and Israel fighting on multiple fronts are all fulfillments of specific Scripture — and that the Church must wake up.

Intro

Philip:Hey, my friends. Welcome to "Daily Faith." My name is Philip Cameron, and I am so pleased you could join with us today. Do you feel in your heart, do you feel in your guts that we are living in unprecedented days? Do you sense something is going on in the world, that there's a dis-ease throughout the whole world?
Philip:I've been watching the news in the last few days, and I've heard things that have made me sit up and pay attention. The British government have... My mom is 98 years of age and lives in Scotland. My brother does, my sisters do. And they are talking to me that Britain is putting itself on a war footing. Listen to me. They are recalling soldiers back into service, and they are telling the people — now this is not preachers trying to sell you a bucket of food.
Philip:This is the government, the British government saying, "Stock up food, get water, because there's something coming." And so we are seeing some unprecedented times. You just heard the other day our Secretary of War, Hegseth, say that every one of our bases across the country have got to be autonomous. They can run by themselves for 90 days. They are putting in miniature nuclear stations to create electricity because something is afoot. Something is about to happen.
Philip:And the church is asleep, caught up in comfort. I'll never forget when Y2K happened in the year 2000 when we turned from 1999 to the year 2000. Everyone thought that all the computers of the world were going to stop, and the whole world was going to go back into the caves. And as I traveled and preached in churches, do you know what the preachers were talking about, the pastors were telling the people? "We've got to get right with God. We've got to get ready." And I'm sitting there and about to preach, and I'm thinking, "We should be ready. We really should be ready. Our job is to be out in the fields that are white in the harvest and bringing in the harvest, not seeing that I'm ready and I'm okay." And we're back in the same situation again.
Philip:And you are watching prophecy fulfilled between Russia and Ukraine, between Iran and the rest of the world. There is massive things taking place in the world today, and most of the church have no idea. In fact, most of the church don't want to talk about it. Let's stick our head in the sand. Let's get the ostrich anointing and hide our heads in the sand because it'll all go away. This is not going away. It's coming into your families, coming in your home.
Philip:And my friend Steve Holcomb is a great man of God. He also has one of the most successful businesses in the country, featured on nationwide broadcasts. He creates the interiors for some of the most exquisite cars in the world, million-dollar cars, two-million-dollar cars. You've never seen... I love going to his shop. I feel so silly when I go there because I feel my fingers are — I cut them off because I can't do any of it. You should see the masterpieces this man creates.
Philip:And all the time he's doing this, running this incredible business — it's expanding like crazy — in his heart, he is burning because he knows we are approaching the great end, and the church is not ready. And he does some tremendous teachings, and he's my guest today, so I'm excited to have him with us.
Philip:Listen, I want you to help us today and pray with us regarding work that we have in Ukraine and Moldova. Thirty-six years ago, I adopted a wee boy from an orphanage in Romania, and that set me on this lifelong journey caring for people, caring for kids that have no one to care for them. We have the most amazing village in a place called Vatra. Vatra means hearth or fireplace. And right beside the largest lake in the whole of the country, this village you're watching right now is where we take these kids that are at risk of being trafficked, and we bring them to these homes.
Philip:Each one of those girls you're looking at, if caught by a trafficker, would be worth $300,000 a year. So you count how many millions of dollars just walked past you if the trafficker gets them. And instead of that, they come to Vatra Village, they hear the gospel, and these kids become missionaries. And they go out all through the summertime and have camps. All through the wintertime, they bring food and clothes and wood to widows who are about to freeze to death.
Philip:And so my wife and my daughter were just there just a couple of weeks ago. And while there, my daughter, Melody, spoke and made a report as to this team from Texas that they were hosting. And I think you will enjoy this. This is my daughter, Melody, from Promise House in Moldova. Watch this.
Melody:Hi, friends. I'm here once again at our Promise House in Ungheni, Moldova. Some of you may not know what Promise House is. Promise House is for kids under 16, from babies up to graduating high school. So that is what Promise House is. And we've got a team. We've been giving you updates of all the construction inside the house, but today, this week — it's beautiful weather here in Moldova — and we've turned our efforts outside lately, because we've been so busy inside, our outside has gotten a little bit neglected. So we're continuing work here at Promise House.
Melody:If you've ever considered donating to Orphan's Hands, and maybe you haven't in the past, but have been thinking about it, I'm going to challenge you today to take that step and say, "God, I'm going to let you use me in the life of a child. A child that has been abandoned, a child that's been abused, a child that's been neglected. Their parents have disappeared. They don't even know where they are. But God, today, I'm going to be the one that comes to them, running to them willingly to help and give and love."
Melody:So we need you. We need your support. We need your love. We need your generosity so that this house is not just a home, it's not a safe covering, it's not a warm bed, but it's a place where these kids can come to know Jesus. So if there's ever a time to get involved, now is the time, and we need you.
Philip:Thank you so much, Melody. We sure need you to pray about something. These two homes were built, are bought and created out of a crisis. A young girl called Maria, who was 14 — we're allowed 16 and above — the mayor of her village contacted us and said, "This wee girl is in desperate trouble." And we took her in, even though she was too young for our 16-year-old limit by the government.
Philip:They found out about it and made us put her back. Maria was gang raped by 10 men a week after she got back to her village and lost her mind. And one of the lead girls in Moldova, one of the great women that we rescued almost 20 years ago, she called me. She said, "I will never drive a girl back to a village, to that kind of hell again." And we were looking for homes, and we found these two houses, and we're almost finished one.
Philip:And so that will take kids under 16 all the way down to four years of age. While Melody was in Moldova, they found a family. They found them two weeks before — a 33-year-old mother with nine kids, with an alcoholic husband that beat her mercilessly. Between the time they first met this family and my wife Chrissy and Melody got back to that place, they brought bicycles and food and clothes, all kinds of stuff to help them.
Philip:The mother, 33, had killed herself because she discovered she was pregnant with a 10th child, and she couldn't take the beating anymore. The children testified against the father, her husband, and he's in prison. And these nine kids are sitting with their grandmother, who is unfit to keep them. And we are now desperately trying to finish the second house.
Philip:The first house is almost done and the kids are already assigned to those places. So you can't do that in that country. You can't accept that child and then say, "We don't want you anymore." So we would have finished the second house immediately. It's going to take $100,000 to finish it and furnish it. And we're looking for you to help us.
Philip:If you could pray as to what God could have you do, you could change the future of this whole family from utter despair into hope and purpose. We're believing God for $100,000 immediately. You can give today and make a difference in someone else's life. Maybe you need a miracle in your family. When you cast your bread upon the waters, the Bible says when you give to the poor, you lend to the Lord. And we're looking for people today to say, "We will help you finish that house."
Philip:And there's many of you that say, "Well, I can't give $1,000," or, "I can't give a large amount of money, but I can give a dollar a day." Each of these two houses will require 300 people giving $1. You can rescue nine kids. Listen, you could rescue nine kids and keep them as a family for a dollar a day. It is the greatest bargain of love and compassion I've ever seen in my life. And please help us.
Philip:You can go — just write a check to The Orphan's Hands, designate it for the kids, the new house. It's called Promise House. Just write Promise. We'll know what you're talking about. And it's PO Box 25, Clinton, Tennessee. PO Box 25, so simple. PO Box 25, Clinton, Tennessee 37716.
Philip:And you can also go to dailyfaith.tv. There's a giving page there. You can land on it and just make sure that you earmark as to where you want it to go. You can also call us, and this is the way I'd go because I'm old-fashioned. I dial 833 and then spell out Daily Faith on my keypad of my phone, and a real live person will pick up the phone and take your generous gift and your care. And if you're a businessman watching today, you could sponsor one of these homes all by yourself. Can you imagine if your business were responsible for sponsoring a whole house of kids that have no other hope? So let the Lord talk to you, and I believe a miracle is on its way for these kids.
Philip:I am delighted to have my friend — first and foremost, he's my friend. I admire his craftsmanship. He has helped us with our travel vehicles for the ministry and done some crazy stuff for us. But at the same time, I know him as a Bible scholar and someone who has a gift at looking at the season we are in and identifying the fact that we are in the end times.
Philip:And if you want to go on Facebook, End Times Prophecy with Steve Holcomb — really simple. Is the Great Tribulation good as well, Steve?
Steve Holcomb:Yes.
Philip:Okay. You can either go to facebook.com/greattribulationcoming. Go to either of those, and you can get information that will make your hair stand on end. This is not for the faint of heart, this program, but it's for those that are watching His soon coming.

Islam's Global Ambitions and Church Compromise

Philip:Steve, thank you for coming with me today again.
Steve Holcomb:I appreciate you so much, my brother.
Philip:Tell us — I'm watching the news.
Steve Holcomb:Mm-hmm.
Philip:Watching the news is like reading the Bible these days.
Steve Holcomb:Right. Right.
Philip:Because there are so many moving parts of this thing. Tell us the Israeli thing that's just happened, even the election is just — everything is up in the air. It seems like there's endless turmoil in the earth.
Steve Holcomb:That's for a purpose. Right. Yeah, and today everything is just, like I say, out of hand and everything, and Islamic countries trying to take control over the whole world. Sure. And they said that Islam will be in every household. That's what they said. I've heard them.
Philip:And we are not supposed to have a faith that interlocks with all faiths.
Steve Holcomb:No. Jesus was very, "I am the way, the truth, and the life." No one else — no way to get to the Father except through Him.
Philip:Correct. You can't have all these faiths living together. So the church has really become weak, and it's like, oh, well, we can tolerate this faith, or we can tolerate that.
Steve Holcomb:Did you see the pope the other day in the Vatican?
Philip:No.
Steve Holcomb:And there was all different faiths there.
Philip:Oh, yeah.
Steve Holcomb:And he did not one time refer to the Christian faith and Jesus Christ as the Son of God and the Savior. The pope.
Philip:Yeah. And I'm thinking, my God, if the pope can't speak about it, we are in real trouble.
Steve Holcomb:Yeah. And the next time I come in, we're going to talk about the four horsemen, which is the spirits and why people do what they do.

Working Backward from Armageddon

Philip:I can't wait to hear that. But today, you'd mentioned before that the governments of the world are preparing their people, saying, "You need to be ready for a major war."
Steve Holcomb:Well, the Bible prophesies — okay, we're going to start at the Battle of Armageddon. Okay. So we know that Jesus comes back at the Battle of Armageddon with his saints, and he chains up Satan for 1,000 years. Okay. Well, if you back up three and a half years, the Bible says that Satan only has 42 months — time, times, and half a time — to do what he's got to do.
Steve Holcomb:So if you're at the Battle of Armageddon and you back up three and a half years, that's in the middle of a seven-year — what people call a tribulation period — but it's actually a covenant signed with the many. Okay, so if we know that, what people don't understand is whether we're raptured up seven years prior to the Battle of Armageddon or three and a half years prior to the Battle of Armageddon — the stage had to be set for the Battle of Armageddon. The endpoint is the Battle of Armageddon. This does not change. That's the endpoint.

The Seven-Year Covenant and the Antichrist

Steve Holcomb:So we know that everyone else can argue between the mid and the pre, but Armageddon's going to happen. It'll happen at this point. Okay, now, if you go with what the Bible says and you go backwards, we know that Satan's going to indwell this antichrist body, the world leaders claiming to be the antichrist. Well, the Bible says he only has 42 months to continue what he's got to do. So that's the last part of that seven-year tribulation period. What people call tribulation period — the Bible never even calls it a seven-year tribulation period. The Bible says that it's going to be a covenant signed with the many for seven years.
Steve Holcomb:So we know ultimately that whoever signs that covenant will be the antichrist. Sure. But the Bible talks about if it were possible, this man would be able to deceive the very elect. Well, the elect's got to be here for him to deceive them. But Jesus himself tells it. Now, I am 100% pre-Great Tribulation Rapture. We won't be here. God has not appointed us to wrath, but has attained us through his salvation. So if you go with what Jesus said, Jesus says, "When you see the abomination of desolation spoken about by the Prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place where he ought not, for then shall Great Tribulation happen as never was before and never will be again."

Pre-Great Tribulation Rapture Explained

Steve Holcomb:Well, that's a three-and-a-half-year period. I truly believe that we are raptured up — and I can show you from the Bible — the day that that world leader stands in that Jewish rebuilt temple claiming to be the Messiah. Now, he comes claiming to be the Son of God. In the Book of Luke 17, it says, "I tell you, the day that the Son of Man is revealed, those who be on the housetop don't come back to get anything. Those be in the field don't come back in. For then..." That's when the Great Tribulation. He says, "I tell you, that night one shall be taken and one shall be left."

Abomination of Desolation and Luke 17

Steve Holcomb:Now, I can't tell you the day or the hour that that world leader will stand in that Jewish rebuilt temple claiming to be the Messiah. But when you see the temple being built, you know it's on its way. We've got to be wise to see and read this. Jesus said this.
Steve Holcomb:And so we don't know the day Jesus is coming, but we do know if they start building the temple, then we're on the way to the moment. We might not be able to tell you the hour at 4:00 tomorrow afternoon, but when that temple starts being put together, and all the red heifers and all the stuff starts being assembled — and it's being assembled now — that's all happening as we're talking.
Steve Holcomb:So, okay. For the Battle of Armageddon, we come back three and a half years. We know that that's the Great Tribulation period. So the Bible says, "For yourselves know perfectly that the day the Lord comes as a thief in the night" — when, he's telling us when — "they say, 'Peace and safety,' then sudden destruction comes upon them." Well, when does that happen? At the Battle of Armageddon. That first three and a half years is going to be a time of peace. Israel's going to be able to rebuild their third temple.

Peace and Safety Before Sudden Destruction

Steve Holcomb:They're going to do the animal sacrifices again, and all this stuff, and they're going to say, "Finally, we have peace and safety." Jesus said when they say that, that's when sudden destruction's going to come upon them, and they shall not escape. So that happens when this world leader stands in that temple claiming to be the Messiah.
Steve Holcomb:Wow. In 2 Thessalonians, he says, "Now we beseech you, brethren" — that's the Christian people — "by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto Him. Be not soon shaken in mind or troubled as letter from us as the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means, for that day will not happen until there come a falling away first and a man of sin be revealed" — "the son of perdition," that'll be Satan — "who exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he," Satan, "as God, sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God."
Steve Holcomb:So all of this stuff — so he comes as a thief when they say peace and safety. When do they say peace and safety? After a seven-year covenant is signed. They have no more war right now. As a matter of fact, in the Book of Luke, it says when you see all the armies compass around Jerusalem, you know that the desolation is near.
Steve Holcomb:Well, what are we seeing in the news right now? Israel's fighting on seven fronts. All over the place. Prior to 1948, that couldn't happen. So 2,000 years people have been looking for the return of Jesus Christ, but He wasn't going to return because, for one thing, His word — every jot and tittle will happen exactly the way it's written. Now, we may not understand all the prophecy. We may have looked for Jesus' return, but He wasn't going to return until all of these things that is written in his book.
Steve Holcomb:We have more sure of a prophecy, the written word of God. It will not change. Heaven and Earth shall pass away, but my word will never change. So if it's written in that, it's going to happen exactly the way it's written.
Philip:I was watching the other day — I think it was a CBN production — and they've discovered the gateway, the road up to the temple where Jesus walked and all that stuff. And it's been hidden since David's time. And the pool that they washed in. And yes, the Pool of Siloam was there. And all of a sudden, things that have been hidden for millennia suddenly are coming up, and they're talking about now maybe the temple can be built there, but it can't be built here because this is... And I'm watching this and I'm thinking, "Oh my goodness, they are making room for this temple to be built in a way that the Islamists can't stop."
Philip:And even stuff like that is all pointing towards the temple being built. And once that temple's built, then the man of sin appears.
Steve Holcomb:Yeah. And I truly believe that temple will be built just... And I could be wrong on this, but I think in a way of what the Bible looks like, it points to — in the sixth trumpet era, it says measure the temple and the altar, but leave out the outer gates, for it's going to be trodden down by the Gentiles. I believe that the temple will be built just north of the Dome of the Rock.

Third Temple Location and Isaiah 14

Steve Holcomb:In Isaiah, Satan says he sits in a congregation of the north, on the northern side. So that would fulfill perfectly that the temple mount will be shared. Satan's going to sit on the northern part, claiming to be the Messiah. That's in Isaiah 14. So, okay, so we're at the Battle of Armageddon. We know when the Great Tribulation starts. This happens during the seventh trumpet era in the Book of Revelation. Okay, well, what goes on before the seventh trumpet happens? The sixth trumpet. Go back and read what happens in the sixth trumpet era. There's going to be a war that kills a third part of mankind.
Steve Holcomb:A third part of mankind's going to die. And we know that from the prophecies that we're living in that time where all this stuff is being fulfilled right now. And what are the governments of the world trying to tell us now? Everybody prepare. There's something coming. Jesus told us, be prepared.

Sixth Trumpet Era and Coming World War

Steve Holcomb:So we're living in the sixth trumpet era right now where through the Euphrates River, it's going to be dried up. The angels are loosed to make war. And it is drying up. And it's a Muslim country. All the way through the Euphrates River, it's all Muslim, Islamic countries.
Steve Holcomb:And the Bible — we're going to talk about this the next time we come back, about the four horsemen and the spirits that are poured out upon the earth. But right now, it looks like we're entering into that time where a third part of mankind's fixing to die. And the Bible talks about after that, there will be a covenant signed with the many for seven years. Something catastrophic has got to happen for everybody to sign a covenant. So it's like, look, we're fixing to destroy ourselves. We can't do this no more. We're going to have to sign this covenant, and then it's going to look like peace for that three and a half years.
Philip:I was watching Victor Hanson the other night. I respect him greatly. He's a great commentator. And he said that what he had heard was that there is a nuclear device somewhere in Europe that's been taken from Iran.
Philip:I don't know if it's a dirty bomb or whatever. And this sudden panic by Germany and all of these European countries, and Britain in particular — Britain is... My mom is 98 years of age. I buy her groceries. I send her groceries every week. I've always done that. And I was talking to her the other day, and she said to me, she says, "Is there any way you can send me just a little bit more? Because the government told me to store food." And I says, "Of course." So today's the first day of her extra that she's getting.
Philip:If a socialist government in Britain is telling the British public, "You better get ready, you better prepare," something massive is coming. Now, the Abrahamic Accords — I believe that Trump's going to manage to weave all of those together. And that's exactly what the Bible is talking about.
Steve Holcomb:Yep.
Philip:We have a couple of minutes left on this program. I want you to get in contact with Steve. His Facebook page is facebook.com/greattribulationcoming. Now, this is not a preacher that I'm asking you to support.
Philip:This is a businessman whose heart — whenever I go and see him, I want to go and see the fancy cars that he's building, and he doesn't care about the fancy cars he's building. He just wants to talk about, "Jesus is coming soon. Jesus is coming soon." And that's the kind of guy I tend to trust more than someone that's trying to do it to sell you a book. And this man has applied himself to knowledge and wisdom way beyond my understanding of this season that we are in. And I want you to prepare and get ready for some of the most cataclysmic events in the history of mankind. And what you do for Jesus, you better start planning to do right now.
Philip:You can also contact Steve to learn more and connect with his ministry. It's steveholcomb7@gmail.com. You can't get simpler than that, steveholcomb7@gmail.com. And we're going to help him get a whole bunch more stuff.
Philip:He's come here, and he says, "I don't have a website." And we're trying to help put stuff together for him because I recognize a voice. Now, do we agree on everything? No. Do we agree on the big stuff? Absolutely yes, and that's where we've got to major on. It's like folk in the election saying, "I don't believe in Trump, so I'm going to vote for the communist guy." You're crazy if you do that, absolutely crazy.
Philip:So listen, thank you, Steve, for being with me today.
Steve Holcomb:Thank you. We're going to do this over and over again until people get the message.
Philip:Is that a deal?
Steve Holcomb:Yeah.
Philip:And we want you to be a part of the answer for the world we're living in. And I want to thank you for watching "Daily Faith." Please pray about helping us in our kids' outreach. It is in great need right now to get this house finished. We love you. We pray over your life blessing and power and authority in these days we're living in. We'll see you again. Bye-bye.

Common questions

When does Steve Holcomb think the Rapture will happen?

Holcomb says he is "100% pre-Great Tribulation Rapture" and believes Christians will be caught up the very day a world leader stands in the rebuilt Jewish temple and claims to be the Messiah. He grounds this in Luke 17, where Jesus says that the day the Son of Man is revealed, one will be taken and one left.

What is the Battle of Armageddon and how does it fit into the end-times timeline?

According to Holcomb, Armageddon is the fixed endpoint of the end-times sequence — the moment Jesus returns with His saints and chains Satan for 1,000 years. Working backward from that point, there is a three-and-a-half-year Great Tribulation, preceded by a first three-and-a-half-year period of relative peace following a seven-year covenant signed with many nations.

What does Steve Holcomb say about the seven-year 'tribulation period' — is that phrase actually in the Bible?

Holcomb points out that the Bible never actually calls it a 'seven-year tribulation period.' What Scripture describes, he says, is a seven-year covenant signed with many — and whoever signs that covenant will be identified as the antichrist.

What does the sixth trumpet in Revelation have to do with what's happening in the world right now?

Holcomb believes we are currently living in the sixth trumpet era described in Revelation, which prophesies a war that kills a third of mankind. He points to the drying up of the Euphrates River and the fact that governments worldwide are telling citizens to prepare for major conflict as signs that this era is unfolding now.

Where does Steve Holcomb think the rebuilt Jewish temple will be located?

Holcomb believes the temple will be built just north of the Dome of the Rock, based on a passage in Isaiah 14 where Satan declares he sits on the northern side of the congregation. He thinks this would allow the temple mount to be shared, with the antichrist ultimately claiming the northern portion as his seat of power.
