Israel, the Third Temple, & the Last Days with Steve Holcomb
About this episode
Steve Holcomb — Bible prophecy teacher and founder of the Facebook ministry Understanding End Time Prophecy with Steve Holcomb — joins Philip Cameron for an urgent, scripture-grounded conversation about where the world stands in God's prophetic timeline. With over 600,000 followers on Facebook at @greattribulationcoming, Steve has dedicated his ministry to helping everyday believers understand what the Bible says about the last days before they unfold on the evening news.
Drawing on 2 Peter 3:8 ("a day is like a thousand years to the Lord"), Steve explains why Israel's 2,000-year exile and modern restoration are direct fulfillments of Old Testament prophecy. He walks through the significance of the Third Temple — noting that Israel has already prepared the priestly garments, sacred utensils, and red heifers (sourced from Texas) required for Levitical sacrifice — and why that matters for the coming of the Antichrist. The conversation also covers the ancient rivalry between Isaac and Ishmael as the root of today's Middle East conflict, Russia and China's role in targeting Israel, and the Bible's warning that one-third of mankind will perish in the coming judgment.
"God told us these things before they happen so that when they happen, you know He is faithful and true," Steve says. Whether you're new to end-time prophecy or a seasoned student of scripture, this episode is a clear-eyed, Bible-backed call to give your life to Jesus Christ before the final hour.

“The devil doesn't have to get us into sin. He just has to get us into busy, and before you know it, a month's passed and two months and a year's passed and 10 years have passed, and we look up and our time on Earth is coming to an end.”
“They are not going to stop until Jesus Christ comes back and stands on the Mount of Olives and puts an end to all this stuff.”
“God told us. He gave us a book, a manual. He's like, 'These things — I'm going to tell you these things before they happen so that when they happen, you know I'm faithful and true.'”
What's Discussed
Bible prophecy teacher Steve Holcomb joins Philip Cameron to unpack the most urgent signs of the last days visible in today's headlines. Steve explains Israel's 2,000-year exile and modern restoration as fulfillment of God's promise to Abraham's descendants through Isaac, grounding the discussion in 2 Peter 3:8. He details the Third Temple preparations already underway — priestly garments, sacred utensils, and red heifers sourced from Texas — and how the Antichrist will one day stand in that temple claiming to be the Messiah. The conversation traces the Isaac-and-Ishmael family feud as the root of the Arab-Israeli conflict, examines Russia and China's alliance with Iran against Israel, and warns that Revelation prophesies one-third of mankind will perish. Steve's closing call: stop playing Russian roulette with your soul and give your life to Jesus Christ.

Intro
Philip:Thank you, Lord Jesus. Hey, my friend. Welcome to Daily Faith. I'm Philip Cameron, and we have got a very important program to share with you today. Do you believe, like I do, that we are living in the last days? Never in all of my years have I sensed so much of the fulfillment of the scripture taking place before your eyes. If you want to see what prophecy speaks about, watch the news. It's unfolding before us, and we've got to be ready with our lamps trimmed and burning. Remember the story of the five wise and the five foolish virgins? I want to have my lamp with oil, waiting for his return.
Philip:And my dear friend, Steve Holcomb, is with us. He has a tremendous ministry concerning the tribulation, the days we are coming into, and he's with me today, and he's going to be sharing from the scripture. You need to call your pastor. If you love your pastor, you need to get in contact with him right now. Dailyfaith.tv. Simple. Dailyfaith.tv. If he's in his car driving down the road, if he just punches in dailyfaith.tv, we are live right now, and he can watch us, and he may find and pick up a nugget of truth or information that will direct him to see more clearly the days we are living in.
Philip:It's so easy to get busy. My Lord, we can get busy. The devil doesn't have to get us into sin. He just has to get us into busy, and before you know it, a month's passed, then two months, and a year's passed, then 10 years have passed, and we look up and our time on Earth is coming to an end. And the devil doesn't have to stop you. He's just got to distract you and get you off the path, and that's what's happening today by the hundreds of millions in the church. They have no awareness.
Philip:Jesus said, "When you see these things come to pass, it's time." And we are seeing these things come to pass. We want you to watch us on Daily Faith. You can see us on CTN, on Flashpoint Network, Journey Network, WGGS Network in Louisiana and Georgia, and we are just so delighted you're with us, and I can't wait for you to meet our guest.
Philip:We have missions in Moldova. Thirty-seven years ago, I adopted a wee boy in an orphanage in Timișoara, Romania. My dad had seen some horrible things on the TV, and although he was sick, he caused me to go with him to help feed these orphans that he'd been watching on the BBC. He'd had surgery, and the wound had burst. He was in terrible mess, terrible pain. And he said, "If you won't go with me," after I tried to dissuade him, he said, "If you won't go with me, I'm going to go by myself, and if I die on the way, it's your fault."
Philip:So, kicking and screaming, he dragged me to Romania, and I found this orphanage, and in this orphanage of 200 kids, I found a wee boy. And I picked him up, and I said, "I don't know who you are, but I'm coming back for you." It took me a year to get him out of that orphanage. And in the meantime, they had no toilets. They sat on coffee cans with the raw edge of the coffee can, and their bottoms were all cut with it. And we put in toilets, put in new beds.
Philip:The beds were painted with lead paint. New roof. We totally changed the orphanage. By the time I adopted Andrew, I was addicted to the work of caring for these kids that had nothing to offer me. And I've spent 37 years from that time caring for these kids. We have an amazing place called Vatra Village. It's a village of homes on the largest lake in Moldova, and we take kids into these homes. There's the village right in front of you right now. They come into that village. We put them back in school. We share the gospel with them. Every girl you're looking at right now, if the trafficker gets her, she is worth $300,000 a year to the trafficker.
Philip:And we take them into our village. We put them back in school. We share the gospel with them. And the most amazing thing has happened. Orphans have become sons and daughters, and sons and daughters have become missionaries. We also have a home in Ukraine. And my wife, yesterday, was going up to Ukraine, and the Russians, by drone, bombed the village and bombed the custom post between Moldova and Ukraine, and they closed the border down. So, my wife and my daughter are hosting 21 folk from Texas from a great church, Elevate Life, and they couldn't go to the border, and they couldn't get into Ukraine because it was so dangerous. And so pray for my wife.
Philip:She is there right now, and they're doing something else today rather than being with our home. We have a home in Odesa, Ukraine, and we've had it for years before this war broke out. Long before anyone else knew where Ukraine was, Orphan's Hands was in Ukraine rescuing girls from the trafficker. And we need you to help us. I got a video sent to me yesterday that I think you'll love. Every year at this time, we take in new kids that are at risk of being trafficked, and yesterday I showed for the first time a brand-new video of how it looks when some young girls and boys walk into Vatra Village for the very first time. Watch this.
Today, millions of people have walked through our doors, and it will change the course of their entire lives. They've come here to learn, to grow, to discover their gifts, and become the people they were created to be. And because of you, they now have that chance. Your support gives them more than education. It gives them hope and the future they once couldn't imagine. One day, they will look back and realize that their lives changed because someone chose to believe in them, and that someone is you.
Thank you for the opportunity to have a future. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Philip:The miracle of Vatra Village, our outreach in Moldova. Those kids walk up that street. They've been abused and hurt like you have no idea. Fathers abuse them. It's unbelievable. Moldova is the highest percentage of alcoholics in the world. Per population, Moldova is the highest. I read a statistic the other day. It's fourth in the world. There's Namibia, South African countries, and right in the middle, in the whole world, as far as being sexually abused, Moldova is number four in all the world.
Philip:And we have these homes, and most all of our house parents were once orphans that we rescued many, many years ago. It was almost 20 years ago. And to watch those little kids that we rescued all those years ago now running the daily operations of the homes in Moldova, it is the most amazing thing. We are opening right now two new homes for younger kids. At the moment, in Vatra Village, the kids are from 16 years old and up.
Philip:We had a terrible thing happen. A young girl called Maria was... A mayor of a village asked if we could take this little girl in, but she was only 14 instead of being 16. We took her in, and for a couple of months, her life was being transformed, and the local children people said, "You've got to put her back. She's underage." And we drove that girl back to the village, and within a week, 10 men gang-raped her, and she lost her mind. And that set us on a task that's now just coming to a fulfillment. We bought two homes on a 15-acre stretch of land with a barn and an orchard.
Philip:It was a farm. And we are turning these two homes into homes for little kids between the age of four and 16. One is almost finished, but I can't open it until I get the support to pay for the staff, and for the vehicles, and the costs involved in it. And how that will be met, the miracle we're believing for, is 300 people giving $1 a day. If I could take you and say, "We could open these homes for $1 a day," would you give $1 a day? Would you give $1 a day and save little kids from unimaginable abuse?
Philip:I know you would. If I can get 300 people thinking that thought right now, we can open these houses in the next few weeks. Can you help me open one of these homes? If you go to orphanshands.org, there are a whole bunch of videos and stuff you can see over the years. We've been doing this for 37 years altogether. We're not new at this. And if you go and look at what we're doing and ask God, "Is this worth and worthy of my dollar a day?" I promise it won't impoverish you, but it will bless you because the Bible says when you give to the poor, you lend to the Lord.
Philip:If you give a one-time gift of whatever amount to help us finish these homes and get them ready, one is almost done, the other one we're going to start working on as soon as the Lord provides the money. You can be a part of a miracle today by giving a gift to help us rescue these precious young babies, little kids, four to 16. You may be a businessman, and you're saying, "I wish I could do something for the world." Well, here's a way you can do something for the world. You can support our ministry and allow us to do what we're doing in a larger way.
Philip:Really simple. Make a check out to The Orphan's Hands. The Orphan's Hands, P.O. Box 25, Clinton, Tennessee 37716. P.O. Box 25. It'll be on the screen during the program. You can also go to dailyfaith.tv. There's a giving page there. Please go there. Or you can dial. This is what I would do. I'm a dinosaur when it comes to technology. I would just dial 1-833-DAILYFAITH. Just type out Daily Faith on your keypad, and there's a real, live person that will talk to you. Not AI, I promise you. And you can say, "I want to help Philip get these two new homes up and running. I'll be one of 300 people to give $1 a day." It is important. For these kids, it's the most important thing in the world. Please help us.
Philip:I am so excited to have with me my dear friend, Steve Holcomb. He's going to be with me on a regular basis over the next few weeks because I want to let him share with you where we are regarding the coming of Jesus. We are living in the most extraordinary times, and most of the church does not understand the end times. And ironically, he has got a ministry called Understanding End Time Prophecy with Steve Holcomb. And Steve, I'm delighted to have you with me, my brother. God bless you. He is such a great friend of ours and also a tremendous craftsman. Where do you see us? The first thing I'm going to ask you is this: What's the big deal about Israel? Why is everyone so bent out of shape about Israel these days?
Steve Holcomb:Well, first of all, I'd like to say thank you for having me back on your show, on Daily Faith. It's a pleasure and an honor to be here with you and to be your guest and to teach people about understanding end time prophecies. Thank you. But the nation of Israel, it's prophesied in the Bible that God promised Abraham's descendants, not all the descendants. The descendants from Isaac, that they would have the land.
Steve Holcomb:Okay. Well, it also prophesied that they was going to be kicked out of their land for two days, which the Bible talks about a day is like 1,000 years. The Lord and 1,000 years is as a day. So a lot of people don't realize what's happening. Now we know, looking back, that Israel was not cast out for 48 hours. But for 2,000 years. And it says after that, He is going to gather them from all the nations, and He's going to bring them back into their land. And that's what we're watching happening right now.
Steve Holcomb:And a lot of people think that the ethnic Israel that's over there now is not the Israel that God's talking about. But what people miss is there's a spiritual Israel and there's a physical Israel. We, believers in Christ, are the spiritual Israel. We're going to have the promise that was given to Abraham, that they would be blessed. Well, there's also a physical nation that's going to be. And unfortunately, and what a lot of people really need to understand is when God brings them back into their land, there's fixing to be great judgment coming. They have stored up wrath.
Steve Holcomb:And if anybody hears this and they don't understand that Jesus Christ is the only salvation in this world, there's no other name by which you can be saved other than Jesus Christ. So God has given us warnings in the Bible. Great judgment is coming, and it's actually coming to the nation of Israel and in the whole world. So we need to be prepared, or people need to be prepared for what's fixing to happen. God has laid out a perfect timeline of things, events that's going to happen, and God's chosen people, it's a physical and a spiritual. All of those who have given their life to Christ are the chosen people in Christ.
Steve Holcomb:But God also chose the nation of Israel to show himself strong in these last days. He said, "I'm going to bring you back into your land. You're going to be able to build your Third Temple." And that's another thing, they already have all the utensils, everything ready for the animal sacrifices. They've already prepared the priest to do the animal sacrifices. All this stuff is already here right now, today, as we speak.
Philip:Interesting. I was speaking this last weekend at our home church here in Norris, in Clinton, and I was talking about the Babylonian captivity, and the Bible tells us that they took the utensils of the temple. So for the 70 years after Nebuchadnezzar destroyed Jerusalem, they took all the utensils from the temple into captivity with them. And then when Cyrus liberated them, and he said, "You go back to Jerusalem, and you can build the temple again and rebuild the city," the Bible says it's a 900-mile journey. And they hauled all of the utensils of the temple back 900 miles back up to Jerusalem to rebuild the temple.
Philip:So what we're watching just now, if you understand the end times, they are working as we speak. They've already bred pure red heifers. They are already in place, ironically, from Texas, believe it or not. But they have passed the test for being the red heifers in the temple. So all of these things are coming together. One thing I want to ask you, I believe there are 57 Islamic nations. So, they own all the oil. They are fabulously wealthy, and yet they hate this wee country that would fit between Port Charlotte and Tampa, Florida. You can fit the whole of Israel between Port Charlotte, Florida, and Tampa, Florida. That's how big Israel is.
Philip:It's a tiny country, yet the whole world is up in arms over Israel. And I've never seen, Steve, in my life such hatred against Israel as we are seeing at this moment. You talk about judgment. They are being judged. Yesterday in Great Britain, our country put a ban on Israeli products. Never been done before. So this almost insane, unreasonable hatred for Israel is taking place right now.
Why Israel Is Central to Bible Prophecy
Steve Holcomb:It's all in the Bible. And what a lot of people don't understand is the promise from Abraham is you got Isaac and Ishmael. Well, Ishmael was promised to be a great nation, too. And that's where all these Arab countries come from. And a lot of people don't realize they had 12 kids, and those 12 tribes are all the Arab tribes. They hate Isaac and the promise to come through Isaac, which is the Jewish lineage and the Israeli people. The 12 patriarchs of Israel, Joseph. So, of Israel, yeah. So, it's going to be a family feud. I mean, they're cousins. I mean, they're all family. People don't understand that. You're talking kinfolk. This is the Hatfields and McCoys of the CEOs with a couple of billion.
Steve Holcomb:You thought the Hatfields and McCoys was bad. I mean, that's what it is. And both of them think that that promised land belongs to them, and they are not going to stop until Jesus Christ comes back and stands on the Mount of Olives and puts an end to all this stuff. We know, because we got God's word, that that book prophesied that Israel will be the owners of that land. Okay, we also know that there's a lot of judgment fixing to come upon the nation of Israel. God's going to allow them to rebuild their temple, even though we know Jesus Christ was the ultimate sacrifice for all of us. Well, a lot of the Jewish people don't believe that Jesus Christ was the ultimate sacrifice.
Physical vs. Spiritual Israel Explained
Steve Holcomb:So they think that they got to go back and do the Levitical laws and sacrifice red heifer and do the daily sacrifice and stuff again. And God's going to allow that to happen. But in that temple is where this world leader's going to stand in it, claiming to be the Messiah. He's like, "I put a stop to all these wars." We see all these wars and stuff happening right now, and unfortunately, there's bad news. I mean, according to the Bible, one out of every three people's fixing to die on this earth. That's what the Bible says. We see all of this war escalating and escalating and escalating. It's not going to end.
Steve Holcomb:The Islamic ideology thinks that they have to destroy Israel for their Messiah to return. There's no option for them. They have got to destroy... What you understand is this: if Iran were to get a nuclear weapon, whether it's a pure weapon or a dirty bomb, I promise you, they will use it because their religious foundation is this: "We've got to destroy Israel." That's all they think about. That is the whole point of this whole thing. And we are trying to destroy their chance of using that weapon because if they get it, they'll use it. And because their hatred of Israel is so mindbogglingly intense. It's unreasonable.
Third Temple Preparations and Red Heifers
Steve Holcomb:Now, a lot of people don't understand, they say that the rapture could happen any moment, and Jesus's return. Well, we know Jesus returns at the Battle of Armageddon. Well, all of this stuff had to be set up. Whether you believe that it's seven years prior to the Battle of Armageddon or three and a half years prior to the Battle of Armageddon, the Battle of Armageddon stage had to be there. That point is real. There is no second-guessing at it. That's happened. When Jesus comes back, stands on the Mount of Olives. In the Book of Revelation, it says when he comes back, he said, "Even those who pierced him shall see him."
Steve Holcomb:Well, what does that mean? Well, who pierced him? Israel. The Jewish people, and Rome. And you know right now, Rome and Israel right now is working together. I mean, there's a picture in the New Testament how Rome and Israel, it took Rome to help crucify Jesus. The Israeli leaders took Jesus in front of the Roman government. But it was Rome that actually put him on the cross, put the spear. So, them two together are going to be together in the end time, and they're going to see, when Jesus returns, those who pierced him is going to see it. Well, they're back now. Israel's back in their land, and they're working with Russia and Rome.
Philip:What goes through my mind, Steve, is all the elements. I mean, what is Russia going to do with Israel? And suddenly, in the last few weeks, Russia is assisting Iran in targeting. Let me explain. When Iran shoots its missiles, at the moment, Russia and China are both assisting Iran in targeting American forces in Jordan, in trying to get missiles into Israel. They're hitting all the other Arab countries around them, trying to make this into a world war. So, you're seeing these things come to pass, and it's your responsibility to find out and know these things, so when you see them, they don't surprise you.
Philip:And over the next little while, we're going to have Steve back here regularly with us on Daily Faith to talk about the different aspects of where we are, and where you are, and where your family is regarding the end times that has been so clearly spoken about. I want you to get in contact with Steve. It's really important. He has a Facebook following, over 600,000 followers, and it's @, the symbol @, Great Tribulation Coming. Great Tribulation Coming. And I want you to get in contact with him, plug into his information stream, and I think it will benefit you and enlighten you as to where we stand.
Philip:Jesus said, "When you see these things come to pass, don't bury your head in the sand. Lift up your eyes, your redemption draweth near." And so, we are absolutely convinced we're in the last days. We are coming to an end. We've only got a couple minutes left, Steve. Give us a thought. What's the next shoe to fall kind of thing?
Steve Holcomb:The most important thing that we need to realize, there is a war that's going to come, that's going to kill a third part of mankind. Nobody knows who one out of three people's going to die is. We need to give our life to Jesus Christ. We are playing Russian roulette with our lives right now. Anybody that does not have Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior living in their heart, God has given us all these things so that we are not left in the dark. God told us. He gave us a book, a manual. He's like, "I'm going to tell you these things before they happen so that when they happen, you know I'm faithful and true." So, God has given us this.
Steve Holcomb:Just like Philip was saying, you can open up the news and watch all this stuff. It's unfolding. But what people don't understand, they don't read the Bible. They don't even know what the Bible says. So, it takes programs like this to point people to, and to show people what God's word has said. So, we always need to understand that we are definitely living in the last days. There's no doubt about it. But are you going to play Russian roulette with your life and not give your life to Christ? Because we don't know when our last moment here on earth is. We could die tonight. We could die in a car wreck today.
Rapture, Armageddon, and the Prophetic Timeline
Steve Holcomb:So, God is so loving and so merciful. He is long-suffering, not willing that any should perish, but all come to repentance. So, we need to repent. We need to give our life to Jesus Christ because God says our minds can't even imagine the things that God has in store for those who love him. Hallelujah. It's a free gift. God just wants you to accept him. We all need to admit that we're sinners, and we need a savior, and Jesus Christ is that savior. We call upon him, and all of this stuff that's going on in the world, it's going to be nothing compared to eternity.
Philip:Steve Holcomb, thank you for being with us. We've only got a few seconds left. Help us in Moldova. Get in contact with Steve, and we'll see you with him again in the next few weeks. Bye-bye.
For over 25 years, the Cameron family has been changing the lives of orphans in Romania and Moldova. From providing running water, flushing toilets, and clean wells, to coal for heat, new windows, as well as food and clothing. They champion the physical needs of the orphans in these broken and desolate countries. Many of Moldova's orphans are saved from the horrors of trafficking through homes founded by the Camerons, and in the process, orphans become daughters and sons. They come to know their heavenly Father and are forever changed by the love of Jesus.
Russia, China, and Iran Targeting Israel
God helped the Camerons lift these amazing young men and women out of darkness. Now, no longer orphans, they want to return and invade that very same darkness with the light of Jesus Christ. The Orphan's Hands equips these daughters and sons to become missionaries. Your monthly gift of $31 will allow us to rescue and take in more girls and boys, saving them from the hell of human trafficking. Your monthly partnership will allow us to care for those in The Orphan's Hands homes in Moldova and the Ukraine. Common questions
Why does Steve Holcomb think Israel is so central to end-times prophecy?
Holcomb says the Bible prophesied that God's people would be expelled from their land for two 'days' — and since a day equals 1,000 years to the Lord, that means 2,000 years of exile. He points to the modern regathering of Jewish people into Israel as the direct fulfillment of God's promise to bring them back from all nations into their own land.
What does Steve Holcomb say about the Third Temple being rebuilt?
Holcomb says the preparations are already in place — the utensils for animal sacrifices have been made, priests have been trained, and red heifers have been bred and certified. He believes God will allow the Temple to be rebuilt, but warns that it's also where a future world leader will stand and falsely claim to be the Messiah.
Why does Steve Holcomb say Arab nations and Israel are in such deep conflict?
Holcomb traces the conflict back to Abraham's two sons, Isaac and Ishmael. He explains that the Arab nations descend from Ishmael's twelve sons, while Israel descends from Isaac, and both sides believe the promised land belongs to them. He calls it 'the Hatfields and McCoys on steroids,' saying it won't end until Jesus returns and stands on the Mount of Olives.
What does Steve Holcomb say is the next major prophetic event to watch for?
Holcomb warns that a coming war will kill one out of every three people on Earth — a figure he grounds in the Book of Revelation. He says the stage for the Battle of Armageddon is already being set, and that the escalating wars we see today are part of that buildup.
What is Steve Holcomb's main message for people who aren't Christians yet?
Holcomb says God laid out these prophetic events in advance precisely so people would recognize them and turn to Christ. He urges viewers not to 'play Russian roulette' with their lives, stressing that salvation through Jesus is a free gift and that God is 'long-suffering, not willing that any should perish.'
