Daily Faith with Philip Cameron: Special Guest Jennifer LeClaire
About this episode
Jennifer LeClaire joins Philip Cameron to share her remarkable story of abandonment, false arrest, and divine vindication — a testimony that will speak directly to anyone facing injustice, betrayal, or an impossible situation. When her husband disappeared to Central America and never returned, Jennifer was left alone with a young daughter and a warrant for her arrest. Seeking help, she found herself essentially held captive by Colombian drug lords before ultimately facing criminal charges that could have sent her to prison for ten years.
It was in that crucible that she encountered Jesus Christ. "I was pricked to the heart by the gospel," Jennifer explains, "by the reality that he died on a cross — he did nothing wrong, and he suffered the consequences." After surrendering her life to Christ, God restored her finances, her career, and her calling. She went on to become the first female editor in Charisma Magazine's 40-year history and now leads Awakening Prayer Hubs, a prayer movement active in over 100 nations. Her new book, Vindicated, releases October 1st and lays out a practical, Scripture-grounded blueprint for receiving God's justice.

What's Discussed
Jennifer LeClaire recounts how her husband abandoned her and their daughter, disappearing to Central America and never returning. Seeking refuge, she was unknowingly drawn into the orbit of Colombian drug lords who held her captive. She was later arrested and faced up to ten years in prison after a police officer falsely accused her of battery. While incarcerated, Jennifer gave her life to Jesus Christ. God subsequently restored her finances — after spending $70,000 on legal defense — her career, and her sense of purpose. She became the first female editor of Charisma Magazine and now leads Awakening Prayer Hubs, operating in over 100 nations. Her book Vindicated provides a 30-chapter blueprint for receiving God's justice across trials including theft, abuse, marriage breakdown, and courtroom injustice.

Intro
Philip:Hello, my friend. Welcome to Daily Faith Today. My name is Philip Cameron, and I am absolutely delighted to have you with us today. We've got a tremendous guest. I believe that God's gonna use her to share with you through the storm, through the struggles he's going through, that there's vindication, and I'm interested to find out how God can vindicate you and your circumstance. There's so many things in our lives that we go through, we don't understand, and we battle through. And after you've gone through them, you see the hand of God guiding you in the storm, but sometimes, man, when you're going through it, there's not much joy in the storm. So we're gonna meet someone that went through hell and back to discover that God is always there, and that Jennifer LeClaire is with us. And she's written a book that I can't wait to let you hear about.
Philip:I believe that God is going to use her today to speak to you if you're going through a situation that you can't get a handle on, and you've been accused of stuff, and it's just the hopelessness that you feel. I believe that God's gonna give you an answer today in the program. So I'm just delighted to have you with us today. So stay tuned. If you're watching, are you watching the news? Are you watching the Democratic Party? I am. I'm astonished at what people can say with a straight face. That's all I'm gonna say. Nothing more about it. I'm just amazed. And I noticed today in the news that last month they gave us the, a million new jobs had been claimed or created, and today they walk it back. It's not true.
Philip:Let me tell you, I'm learning about this. Don't believe a thing you hear on the news. It's not true. It's all put together as a package to try to sell you whatever they want you to believe. On Christ, the solid rock I stand. All other ground is sinking sand. I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly lean on Jesus' name. If you could share the broadcast today, hit the like button and share it with your friends also, and also turn on notifications as well. That'd be a great blessing to us. We're growing all the time. We're amazed. We got a bunch of new stations in Florida and also in Tulsa. So we're just glad to join you with us. In Tampa, we are on WCLF on Thursdays at 6:30. In West Palm Beach, we're on Mondays at seven o'clock on WFGC, on Wednesdays at one o'clock. We are on WRXY in Fort Myers. And in Tulsa, we are there twice a week, Saturday and Sunday at two o'clock, both times in the afternoon.
Philip:And they're brand new stations, and we're just glad to see that today. And we've got a word from the Lord. This program called Daily Faith is to help affirm you in your daily walk with Jesus. And sometimes when someone can speak into your mind and your spirit a word, it lets you know that, wow, I'm on the right track. I'm pressing on the right way. So we're just delighted to have you. You can enjoy today's program. I'm delighted you're here. Welcome to Daily Faith.
Philip:Hello, my friend. Welcome to Daily Faith. My name is Philip Cameron, and I am delighted to have you along with us today. We have got a great program for you. We love letting you meet folk that have gone through the fire and have come out the other side. There is something incredibly precious about someone that has found Jesus in a storm. Anyone can sing when the sun shines bright, but after you've gone through hell and high water, and you come out the other side and you can say, Jesus was faithful all the way. He led me better than I knew.
Philip:And I'm very aware today of the world we're living in, when things up is down, in is out, black is white. I mean, everything is being turned around. When I was watching the Democratic Party, every one of them spoke, the first thing that they talked about was women's rights, health rights, health choices. In other words, they are fighting to take away the children of our future. And we are living in incredible days, and we need to know what we believe and who we believe in. And the only person that you can trust completely is the Lord Jesus Christ.
Philip:So I'm excited to have you with us. As you know, we do mission work in Moldova and Ukraine, and we've been there for 35 years. We've had a house in Ukraine for six years, six years long before the war broke out, we were there caring for kids. We learned in Moldova that when a girl is 16, they put her on the streets from the orphanages or from poverty-stricken homes as well. And traffickers offer them fake jobs, bogus jobs, and they end up getting in a car and ending up in places all over the world.
Philip:Really, to be honest with you, one of the reasons why we're in Ukraine is my wife and I were coming back from Moldova and coming through immigration in Atlanta, and the immigration officer asked me where we'd been. I told him Moldova, and he was literally at the point of stamping my passport, and he stopped. He says, where? I says, Moldova. He says, this is crazy. And he went into this thing and he says, I've just transferred off from the Caribbean, and we intercepted a container on a ship, and inside this container there were 38 Moldovan girls put in, in Odessa, Ukraine, all the way across to the Caribbean. And that was why we went and we started a home to care for these kids.
Philip:And we have an amazing place called Vatra Village in Moldova. It's right on the largest lake in the whole country. It was built for rich folks to have a summer retreat. And they poisoned the lake with chlorine, and the houses were abandoned, they weren't finished. And we bought this whole village of houses. And today, young folk can come to us and find the Lord Jesus. We put them back in school. We tell them that if you are born, God has a plan for you. And these crazy, amazing young kids come to us after having been broken and abused, and they believe the word of the Lord. And they're getting saved and turning into missionaries.
Philip:And when the war broke out in Ukraine, these kids were on the border between Ukraine and Moldova, loving and feeding and praying and caring for the mothers who were coming with their children. The husbands had to stay home and fight. Do you know that I read the other day that 500,000 Russian boys have died in this thing and about 300,000 Ukrainian. I mean, this is an unbelievable mess that's taking place there, and you never see it on the news. We're caught up in other things. But these young folk have turned from orphans into missionaries, and we are absolutely delighted.
Philip:All the summertime they do camps, and they go to a village and sponsor a village for a year, find every widow in the village, find every poor family, and care for them. And one of our girls, Emma, they do their own recording. These kids do all the stuff you're gonna watch just now. That video you're watching just now is them. They make their own videos and send them to us. And this girl, Emma, came to us broken from a horrible situation. And this is her story. Watch this.
My name is Ila. And I was born in a family with many children. My father was drinking a lot, and this made him aggressive. I remember sitting in our room with my siblings, and we couldn't go to the kitchen because my father was there, and we would go to sleep hungry. I remember one evening I was at home alone with my younger brother, and we were getting ready for bed when my mother came. She told us to quickly leave. I didn't understand why. I was in my pajamas. I remember asking her why. She didn't know how to answer. We went to church and slept there because my father was drunk and wanted to beat us.
My mother wanted to protect us, so we slept on the chairs. And the next night at some friend's house, I remember my father was pushing us sometimes and was saying bad things to my mother. I couldn't do anything to help. And in order for my mom to avoid that, she would take us and lock ourselves in one room and stay there with us. If he was drinking one night, that meant a week for us to go into hiding.
I became very shy. I was scared to talk to others. I never had a hug from my father. I have no idea what that is like. I saw that in others, and I always wanted that, but I never had the chance to have that. He only called me once, and then he told me that he had mistakenly called me. I watched others becoming successful, and I saw that they can. So I asked myself, why can't I do that? Maybe I'm not as privileged as they are, but this does not discourage me to work hard and get somewhere far in life. I would like to thank those who are helping me to fulfill my dream and continue my studies, economic studies. And I would like to encourage others to work hard and not be overwhelmed by your past.
Philip:An amazing story. Never hugged by her dad. The only phone call she ever got from him was a mistake. And that girl came to us broken, shy, reserved. She was mute until she was five years of age. And we told her, you're not a mistake. God has a purpose for your life. And the miraculous thing is this, that when you drop the seeds of the gospel in a heart and tell them there's hope, it is just the most amazing thing I've ever seen.
Philip:Ila leads worship in one of the local churches. Our kids go to churches all across the city of Chisinau, and she plays the violin. And the other day we just realized, we were told her brother competed in the Olympic games as a weightlifter. Isn't that crazy? And she's just returned back to Moldova from an exchange student program for one year in Poland, and she's back at Vatra Village to finish her last year of studies. And every dream that she's ever had has come true because someone like you, just like you, has said, I'll make a difference. Don't curse the darkness, light lights.
Philip:And how we do this — every one of those girls you saw in that video, if the trafficker gets them, they're worth $300,000 a year to the trafficker. And these kids come to us, because if someone just like you gives a dollar a day, everything you see, all those houses are supported. The work in Ukraine, where people are home there also, the transportation, our bus tickets — just the bus tickets alone to get these kids to school costs around $3,000 a month.
Philip:And then someone like you gives a dollar a day, and by doing so, you make a way for someone else. And if you have maybe someone in your family you're believing God for, and you're saying, Lord, somehow work in my family, why don't you make something happen for someone else? Invest in the kingdom, become a missionary through your giving. And then when you do that, the Bible says when you give to the Lord, when you give to the poor rather, you lend to the Lord. And we've just taken in, in fact in the next couple of days, they're coming in — 25 new girls, new kids are coming in to Vatra Village.
Philip:And we need folk to support them. If you could pray about giving $1 a day, it's very simple. Just contact us. You can write us at the Orphan's Hands, PO Box 25, Clinton, Tennessee 37716. The quickest way is to go to dailyfaith.tv. There's a giving page there, a whole bunch of information, a whole bunch of videos. These kids — one boy came to us at our boys' home also there, and he was interested in video. And that grew into a whole bunch of them getting involved in video. And all that video you just watched was taken by kids that no one thought were worth anything.
Philip:So if you could pray about helping us, it would be — I'll be so grateful for your help. And you can call us also. It's 833, and you just dial Daily Faith on your keypad or your phone, and a real life person will pick up the phone. And if you can do that, you are helping us continue to expand. We've just taken on a new project that we haven't even formulated information about yet, but we know about it. We haven't got the videos and stuff together to explain it to you. We believe we have over two houses in one location and also a farm with a great big barn that we're gonna convert into dorms for youth camps. And our kids will run their own youth camp in this place. So we just need you to pray for us first. We need your prayers, we need your money, but we need your prayers first.
Philip:And then believe God with us. I am delighted to have Jennifer LeClaire with us today on the program. She has gone through — she's lived a book, and she's written a book about what she's lived. Her husband abandoned her and her daughter. And she was falsely accused of a crime she didn't commit and was facing 10 years in prison. And she met Jesus in jail and got the accusations overturned and received complete vindication. But there's always a but in these stories — the battle continues and continued. She faced abuse, betrayal, slander, theft. And thankfully she's lived it to tell about it. And her experience, I believe, is gonna help you today in your situation.
Philip:She's just written a brand new book called Vindicated, and it's gonna be released in October. And I am absolutely delighted. And I just discovered before we started the program, she's mostly Scottish, so I like this woman immensely already. Jennifer, I'm delighted to have you with us today. Welcome to Daily Faith.
Jennifer LeClaire:Thank you, Philip. It's my honor to be with you.
Husband's Abandonment and the Blindside
Philip:Yeah, the Scots, we gotta stick together. We gotta stick. I saw your red hair and my mom's redheaded, my sister's redheaded, and I thought, ah, I like this woman. She comes from the old country. You have lived an — a movie in your life. And I know there are folk watching that are going through circumstances, and they're in the middle. I often use — I took my kids one time to Niagara Falls, and I took them on the Maid of the Mist, the ship that's there, and you get these blue rain things, and you go out in this ship and it's a lovely summer day, 75, 80 degrees, and the boat goes up to the bottom of Niagara Falls, and suddenly this massive amount of water is coming down. And it's almost like you're in the middle of a storm, in the middle of the darkest ocean of all time. And you must have felt, when all of this began to happen to you, that you were in the Maid of the Mist being crushed by the weight of Niagara Falls. So give the folk that are listening to us an idea of what you went through.
Jennifer LeClaire:Wow. Yeah. You know, before I get into this, I wanna point people to my movie because it goes deeper than the time we have here.
Philip:Perfect. Yes, and you're gonna find that at...
Jennifer LeClaire:jenniferleClaire.org/vindicated-film. But you know, my husband sort of had a midlife crisis at the age of 30. He lost his income because the industry that he was in was in recession. And I was earning a lot of money. So he decided to start a new life without me or his daughter. And it came as an absolute shock to me. I mean, we were having trouble in the marriage, and quite frankly, I was on the verge of asking for a divorce, but for the sake of our child, I was trying to stick it out and work it out, because I knew he was having a hard time emotionally with not being the primary income earner, but instead being the primary caregiver for our daughter.
Jennifer LeClaire:So I was shocked. I think it must have taken me weeks just to come to grips with the reality that he really did that. Because he wasn't a bad guy. He wasn't an evil person. But he went away on a trip to Central America to build his portfolio and just disappeared and never came back. And I have spoken to him a couple of times over the last 20-something years, but really he's had no relationship with his daughter. But if you'd ever told me he would do that, I would've been shocked. And I know there are a lot of people watching where you go through things — it's a blindside.
Philip:Sure.
Jennifer LeClaire:And I think that when you can see things coming, it's easier to sort of accept it.
Philip:That's true.
Jennifer LeClaire:But when you don't see it coming, it's an absolute blindside. And so I was shocked. I was traumatized. My daughter was traumatized. And not too long after that, I filed for divorce. And when I filed for divorce, my attorney said, you need to get out of your house now. Go find somewhere under someone else's name, because there's a warrant out for your arrest, and this divorce proceeding is going to trigger them to come find you.
Warrant for Arrest and Life on the Run
Philip:Oh my goodness.
Jennifer LeClaire:So first I'm traumatized, now I'm afraid. And it just went downhill from there. And I think, you know, I didn't know the Lord. And if I had known the Lord, I'd like to think that I would've kept my eyes on him. But even still, that's a lot for anybody to go through. And it's the trying of our faith that works patience in it. But my God, it was tough. It was really tough, Phil.
Philip:When that kind of information hits you — when your heart is broken, to have your heart broken is one thing. But then to have a monster come out of the darkness to say, you are on the run, you better get on the run — that must have been an absolute earthquake in your soul. How do you get up in the morning when you're in that situation?
Jennifer LeClaire:You know, I don't even know that I stopped to think about it. I believe I was just in purely survival mode. You know, when you have a child, especially a young child, you do everything you can to help them and keep them safe. And so I had a friend and they introduced me to some other people who got me an apartment in their name. And so I stayed hidden there for some time. And I mean, the story just gets — it goes from bad to worse. The people that I was connected with to help me get this apartment in somebody else's name, well, they turned out to be Colombian drug lords. And so pretty soon I'm stuck here, essentially basically kidnapped. I was kept in this condo. I couldn't go out, couldn't come in. There was a restaurant in the condo, and they had essentially kidnapped me. And then a lot of other things happened around that. That's just — I couldn't do it justice to try to explain it right now. It would take an hour. But I share some more about that in the film.
Held Captive by Colombian Drug Lords
Philip:Let's get that. Tell us how folk can watch this film, because I think this is an important thing for them to do. Give us that address again.
Jennifer LeClaire:Yeah, it's jenniferleClaire.org/vindicated-film. And it's about 45 minutes or so. And it really goes deep into that. And I tell it with great emotion because I almost felt some of the emotions when I was talking about it. I've never shared most of this publicly. But you know, many people go through things where their soul is just rocked. And I think the first response is we just go numb. But the good news is, those of you listening, if you know Jesus, if you know the Lord, he's been through worse than we've been through. He was abused. He was beaten, he was whipped, he was scorned, he was accused, he was stolen from, he was betrayed, he was lied on. So you have, as a believer, a comfort that I didn't have access to because I didn't know Jesus.
Jennifer LeClaire:And I think back and think, my Lord, the lost — I don't know how they get through these things. And we need to be those witnesses because many of you listening, you have a vindication testimony. And if you don't, you'll have one when you read my book, because I'm laying out the blueprint for vindication from just about anything you could possibly go through. And my book is Vindicated. So how did you end up — and I know we're short on time — but you end up facing 10 years in prison. How did that come about?
Jennifer LeClaire:Well, there was an altercation where my then-fiancé, later husband, came home one day in a rage and just started throwing dishes, throwing bowls. And I became very afraid because I'd never seen him act this way before. I mean, he was a good guy, he was a gentle guy, so he wouldn't stop. And I called the police. And when the police came, long story short, they took us both to jail. But the police officer, the female that arrested me, she just had some kind of issue. I don't know why, but she decided to accuse me of battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest without violence. And she beat me. She slammed me against the police car and started beating me. And I was bruised all over.
False Arrest and Facing Ten Years in Prison
Jennifer LeClaire:At the end of the day, the officer that was with her would not testify for her. So it was her word against mine. And the Lord turned the tables. But it took years to play out. And I very well could have ended up not seeing my daughter till she was 13 years old. So it was a harrowing experience. But here's the thing. The Lord doesn't send us through these trials. In other words, he's not the author of evil, he's not the author of pain and confusion. He's the author of peace. But God will use these very deep, heart-wrenching, earth-shattering, mind-crushing trials. He'll use those things to purify us, to cleanse us. And in my case, I was at rock bottom, as the world says. I was at rock bottom and I had nowhere else to turn. So when someone presented the gospel to me in that moment, I was like, if Jesus can pardon me and Jesus can get me out of this jail, praise God. And I accepted him, but it wasn't just for what he could do for me. I really was pricked to the heart by the gospel.
Meeting Jesus at Rock Bottom
Jennifer LeClaire:By the reality that he died on a cross. He became sin for us. He did nothing wrong, and he suffered the consequences. And I sort of identified with Jesus and the wrong that was done to him. And I just turned my life over to him, and I just started devouring the Bible. And I've never stopped.
Philip:Funny you talk about this. I was reading — driving my truck yesterday — and the thought came to me how we iron and smooth out the story of the crucifixion. And we know the facts, and he was taken to this house, and then he was this, and then they did that, and then they whipped him and all this stuff. And we can go over the thing like a Reader's Digest condensed story. But Jesus went through those seconds, everything a second at a time, didn't know where they were taking him. I mean, the crown of thorns on his head. And we all know the facts now and we don't even think about it. But when he was going through that, every second must have felt like an hour. And he did it for us. When Jennifer ended up in prison, he said, hey, I've been there. I know exactly how you feel. And that's the hope of our situations. Someone's watching this now and they're in their prison, whether it's a physical one or a relationship one or a financial one. Tell me the hope of your story. Tell me how Jesus began to turn things around for you.
God's Restoration of Career and Calling
Jennifer LeClaire:Yeah. Well, it started with surrendering my life to him. And even as Christians, sometimes we don't live a surrendered life, so we need to surrender to him. We need to put our case, the injustices, in his hands. And as I did that, little by little God restored me financially, because I'd spent $70,000, which was everything I had, on an attorney to get me out of that prison. And God restored me financially. God restored me emotionally. God restored my career, which I lost when I went to jail. God restored everything little by little, but he did it. And today, I used to be the editor of Charisma Magazine — the first ever female editor in the history of that 40-year magazine. Today I have a prayer movement called Awakening Prayer Hubs, and we are in over 100 nations.
Jennifer LeClaire:And you know, God doesn't just wanna restore you. He wants to make your life better than it was.
Philip:Better. He's gonna make your life better. And I believe that's a word from the Lord to someone watching today. You are going through hell. The devil — he's the accuser. Don't get surprised if you're accused, because that's one of his areas of expertise. He's the accuser of the brethren. But as you learn with Jennifer, there's hope in your situation. You've written a book called Vindicated. Tell us about it, because it's important. I believe that someone watching needs to get this book in their life. Tell us about your book.
Awakening Prayer Hubs in 100 Nations
Jennifer LeClaire:Yeah. Vindicated is a book where I weave parts of my story in, and I talk about the blueprint to receiving vindication God's way. You know, he says, vengeance is mine, I will repay. The temptation is for us to take matters into our own hands. And so I talk about that, how to resist that temptation. There are 30 chapters. You could read it almost like a devotional. But here's the thing — I go through vindication in just about everything you could imagine. Theft, abuse, injustice, marriage problems, courts of heaven. I talk about double vindication. And I talk about giving your vindication testimony. And I truly believe this book is going to unlock God's justice for so many people that have been waiting, but they didn't know what they were doing wrong, or they didn't know how to put it in God's hands and leave it there. And I believe that there's a sweeping movement of vindication and God's justice coming to the body of Christ when they adopt the principles of the Word of God.
The Book Vindicated — Blueprint for God's Justice
Philip:You can get that book. It's being released October the first, but you can go to mycharismashop.com and pre-order it today. And I know if you are not going through this circumstance right now, it's gonna happen to you, because it happens to everybody. And being pre-prepared — being forewarned helps when the storm breaks. And Jennifer LeClaire Ministries — you can get to www.jenniferleClaire.org there. That's the information on the page. You can get in contact with her. And I believe that she can impart into your life and your church and your circumstance information. And the older I'm getting, information is power. Jennifer, thank you so much for being with us today. Is there anything else, any other way that folk can connect with you?
Jennifer LeClaire:YouTube. I have a morning prayer broadcast — youtube.com/jenniferleClaire ministries. Check out Awakening Prayer Hubs, our prayer movement. We wanna equip intercessors to pray for ministries like yours as well, that are doing such a great work. We don't have prayer hubs in Moldova or Ukraine yet, but hopefully we will. And we're praying for the Great Awakening. We're praying for soul harvest, so check it out.
Philip:Even so, come Lord Jesus. Bring it to us. Thank you for being with us today on Daily Faith. And I hope you can come back again when the book's out. Come back and we'll do it again, because I want folk to hear what you've gotta say, because it's important.
Jennifer LeClaire:I appreciate you so much. Thank you.
Philip:Thank you for watching Daily Faith today. We'll see you again. Bye-bye.
For over 25 years, the Cameron family has been changing the lives of orphans in Romania and Moldova, from providing running water, flushing toilets, and clean wells to coal for heat, new windows, as well as food and clothing. They championed the physical needs of the orphans in these broken and desolate countries. Many of Moldova's orphans are saved from the horrors of trafficking through homes founded by the Camerons. And in the process, orphans become daughters and sons. They come to know their heavenly Father and are forever changed by the love of Jesus.
God help the Camerons lift these amazing young men and women out of darkness. Now no longer orphans, they wanna return and invade that very same darkness with the light of Jesus Christ. The Orphan's Hands equips these daughters and sons to become missionaries. Your monthly gift of $31 will allow us to rescue and take in more girls and boys, saving them from the hell of human trafficking. Your monthly partnership will allow us to care for those in the Orphan's Hands homes in Moldova and Ukraine. If you want to join Philip and Chrissy in taking care of these precious young people, please contact us today by calling 833-Daily-Faith. You can also give by going online to www.dailyfaith.tv, or by writing to PO Box 25, Clinton, Tennessee 37716. So many lives depend on what we do. Thank you for loving the lost.
Common questions
What happened to Jennifer LeClaire that led to her facing 10 years in prison?
Jennifer called the police after her then-fiancé came home in a rage and started throwing dishes. When officers arrived, a female officer accused Jennifer of battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest without violence — and physically beat her. The other officer present refused to testify on the accusing officer's behalf, so it came down to her word against Jennifer's. The Lord eventually turned the tables, but the process took years to play out.
How did Jennifer LeClaire become a Christian?
Jennifer says she was at rock bottom — in jail, having already lost her husband, her career, and her sense of safety — when someone presented the gospel to her. She was genuinely moved by the reality that Jesus was also falsely accused, beaten, and betrayed, and she identified with that injustice. She accepted Christ not just for what he could do for her, but because she was, as she puts it, 'pricked to the heart by the gospel,' and she's been devouring the Bible ever since.
What is Jennifer's book Vindicated about, and who is it for?
Vindicated is a 30-chapter book where Jennifer weaves her personal story together with what she calls 'the blueprint for receiving vindication God's way.' She covers topics including theft, abuse, injustice, marriage problems, and the courts of heaven, and addresses the temptation to take matters into your own hands instead of trusting God. She believes it will help people who have been waiting for justice but didn't know how to place their situation in God's hands and leave it there.
What did Jennifer's husband do, and why did it come as such a shock?
Jennifer's husband left her and their daughter without warning — he went on a trip to Central America to build his portfolio and simply never came back. Jennifer says he wasn't a bad or evil person, which made it even harder to process; she describes it as a complete blindside that took her weeks just to accept as real. He has had virtually no relationship with his daughter in the more than 20 years since.
How did God restore Jennifer's life after everything she went through?
Jennifer says restoration came little by little after she surrendered her life to Christ and put her case for justice in God's hands. God restored her financially — she had spent $70,000 on legal fees — as well as emotionally and professionally. She went on to become the first female editor in the 40-year history of Charisma Magazine, and today she leads Awakening Prayer Hubs, a prayer movement active in over 100 nations.
