Daily Faith with Philip Cameron: Special Guest pastor Buddy Meloy

About this episode

Pastor Buddy Meloy of New Life Christian Fellowship in Lake City, Florida joins Philip Cameron to deliver a sobering prophetic word for the American church in one of the most turbulent political seasons in modern memory. Drawing from Jeremiah 26:2 — God's command to Jeremiah to speak "all the words" without diminishing or omitting a single one — Buddy calls pastors and believers to stop softening the full counsel of God out of fear of offense or cultural pressure. Buddy connects a prophecy he first shared in 2023 about a coming sexually transmitted plague to the emergence of Mpox (Clade II), now spreading beyond Africa into Europe, framing it through the lens of Numbers 25 and the story of Baal-Peor — a false god of deception and lies whose influence Buddy sees mirrored in today's political and cultural landscape. "You have to look at his tracks," he warns, urging the church to discern wolves in sheep's clothing by their history, not their appearance. The conversation culminates in a call for courageous, Phinehas-like leadership — voices that can speak strongly when necessary and compassionately when required — refusing to compromise with deception at the gates. Quotes worth sharing

The last place before they crossed over the Jordan was the place where Balaam tried to get, prophetically, the children of Israel, the nation of Israel, to compromise. And so what happened — it's called Baal-Peor also, which is the highest point in Moab.

Buddy Meloy

You have to watch out for wolves in sheep's clothing. Now, how do you tell a wolf in sheep's clothing? You have to look at his tracks. You have to look at where he's walked. On the outside he looks like a sheep, but you've gotta look at his history. You've gotta look at where he's been walking and the tracks he's left behind.

Buddy Meloy

If Emma is worth $300,000 a year to a trafficker, I think she's worth a dollar a day to you.

Philip

What's Discussed

Pastor Buddy Meloy of New Life Christian Fellowship (Lake City, Florida) brings a prophetic message rooted in Jeremiah 26:2 and Numbers 25, warning the American church against compromise and deception. He revisits a 2023 prophecy about a coming sexually transmitted plague, now pointing to the Mpox Clade II outbreak spreading from Africa to Sweden. Using the Old Testament account of Baal-Peor — a false god of lies and deception — Buddy draws direct parallels to current political and cultural events. He calls for Phinehas-like leaders who speak the full counsel of God boldly, discern wolves by their tracks, and refuse to bed down with deception. Visit nlcflc.com for more.

Intro

Philip:Hey, my brother and sister, how are you today? My name is Philip Cameron and I am delighted to have you with us. We have got a program for you. Let me tell you something, we are living in the most crazy of days. My guest today is a dear, dear friend, a lifelong friend of mine, Buddy Meloy.
Philip:I call him my prophetic pastor because he has tremendous prophecies, and he comes back on the programs and points out what he shared with us. And he's got some doozies today that he told us about the last time he was on the program. And then he's got the headlines to show you what's happening today, and it's in your news as well.
Philip:We are living in unbelievable times. And the church — I hate to say this — the church is asleep. We have the power. If the church were to unite for any one purpose or any one cause, we could change this country and turn this country back from the cliff edge that we are on right this minute. And we'll be talking about some things. Listen, if you love your pastor, get in contact with him right now.
Philip:Call him or text him and say, tune in to Daily Faith, we're live right now. And I would love for him to listen to the information and the stuff that we'll be talking about today, because it is truly cutting edge, right on what God is doing today and what is taking place in the world today, as in this morning, today, now.
Philip:And we are witnessing a cataclysm of events coming together. Since Buddy was on our program the last time, we've had a president deposed — basically told by the elders of the party, you're done, you're an old man, you get out. And as we broadcast and tape this right now, tonight is his farewell speech to the DNC. He is walking away because someone decided that he wasn't.
Philip:Now I agree, he wasn't. But a man that received 14 million votes was just kicked out of the presidency by a cabal of a few people. That is not democracy. And so we have an untested, untried, un-voted-for politician that has now been chosen, handpicked to fill that place. And you're gonna learn some stuff today. And I encourage you, call your pastor, call a friend. If you have someone you've been talking to in the last few days about what was going on in the country, you're gonna get some information on this program.
Philip:You can also share it on your page. If you're watching us on social media right now, just hit share, and also turn on the notifications to let you know when we are going live, because we are on daily. Daily Faith is here to walk daily with you in your faith walk with the Lord Jesus.
Philip:And you can also get us on YouTube. It's very simple — youtube.com/Daily Faith. If you go to dailyfaith.tv, there are a whole bunch of programs, a catalog of programs. We've done hundreds of them, and pretty much anything that you're going through, we're talking about on Daily Faith.
Philip:We love you, and we want you to know that God is on your side and he's not gonna abandon you. You're not gonna be cast out, you're not forgotten. The Bible says you are written in the palm of his hands. Have you ever marked your fingers or your hands, got some ink or something on them, and every time your hand moves it catches your eye? Let me tell you something, today you have caught God's eye. He knows you. He's redeemed you. He's called you by your name.
Philip:How much more personal can you get than being called by your name? And you are his. So we are just delighted to have you with us. We want you to stay tuned, call a friend, because we're gonna be dealing with stuff that pertains to your future. You don't want to miss this program. I'm delighted you're with us. Welcome to Daily Faith.
Philip:Hello, my friends. Welcome to Daily Faith, and I'm so glad you're with us. We've got a tremendous program today. You're gonna love my guest. He's on regularly. I call him a prophetic pastor because he has a tremendous gift of prophecy. He speaks things here on Daily Faith, and by the time he comes back the next time, what he prophesied is taking place.
Philip:We are living in the most momentous days. News that used to be in a yearly cycle or a six-monthly cycle — we are talking about President Trump was almost assassinated, and within a couple of days that was forgotten about because Joe Biden resigned, or didn't run for president. I mean, there's just a continual blizzard of news coming at us, because as we say, as we see the day approaching, things are speeding up.
Philip:And we've got some tremendous information to share with you today. And I encourage you to call your pastor, text someone, call them, and say, listen, Daily Faith is dealing with the prophetic. America is right now in a cycle that I've never seen. I've been here for 55 years and I've never seen anything like it in my life. And I want you to learn and be a part of what God is doing.
Philip:So watch Daily Faith every day. Before Buddy comes and talks to us about what's happening, we just get a report from Moldova. For those that don't know us, we have a ministry, a mission work in Moldova and Ukraine. 35 years ago I adopted a wee boy in Romania, and I went there — it took me a year to adopt him. And in that process of going back and forth every few weeks to make sure he was alive, he was living in the most horrendous situations.
Philip:We replaced the toilets, the roof, replaced the beds, fixed the whole place up. And in the year that I was there, it completely broke my heart and it hooked me. I got hooked on caring for these kids. And over the years we've rebuilt orphanages, put windows in buildings, rescued hundreds and hundreds of kids. And right now we have a village — an amazing village called Vatra Village. It was built for rich people on the largest lake in Moldova.
Philip:And they poisoned that lake with clothing dye because they wanted to kill the algae — bright people. And that village you're looking at with the red roofs, it stopped. No one wanted to buy a house on a lake with clothing dye in it. That's been fixed, by the way. And now we bought these houses, fixed them up, and our young folk come. We rescue them from orphanages, from horrendous poor families, tremendous poverty and sorrow in their lives, and they come to us, live in these houses, and get back in school.
Philip:The house parents that run these homes for us are all former orphans themselves. We get them back in school, they hear the gospel, and they become missionaries. And these kids literally are out in the fields, in the highways and byways, bringing folk to Jesus.
Philip:They've just spent the most amazing summer having youth camps. When the Ukraine War exploded, we had a home in Ukraine also. We've had a home there for six years, long before the war broke out — or the war that you know of broke out, that has been going on for many, many years in Donbas. But our kids went up to the border and welcomed and cared and prayed and fed the refugees. There are 800,000 refugees who ran from Ukraine to Moldova, and our kids were up in the most horrendous conditions, blizzard conditions, loving and caring for the refugees.
Philip:And so it's just a miracle. Every girl you see in these videos, everything you are watching right now — if a trafficker gets that girl, she will bring $300,000 in income to the trafficker. Every girl is worth $300,000. And a young girl called Emma — we got a video of her testimony. She's amazing. And I want you to watch this video of her. She's typical of what happens when a young girl comes into our world and is transformed by the power of God.
Philip:And I want you to, as you watch this — well, the video is frozen right now. Okay, we'll just keep on moving, guys. Are we getting there? But these kids are amazing. They've just spent this whole summertime — they go to a village, adopt a village, find every widow, every broken family, and an evangelical church if there is one in the village. So what happens is, all through the year when they're feeding these folks and caring for these folks, they bring them to the church. So they get connected to the church and connected to the gospel. And Emma is one of our girls, and I think you'll be blessed by her story. Watch this.
My name is Emma. And I was born in a family with many children. My father was drinking a lot, and this made him aggressive. I remember sitting in our room with my siblings and we couldn't go to the kitchen because my father was there, and we would go to sleep hungry.
I remember one evening I was at home alone with my younger brother and we were getting ready for bed when my mother came. She told us to quickly leave. I didn't understand why. I was in my pajamas. I remember asking her why. She didn't know how to answer. We went to church and slept there because my father was drunk and wanted to beat us. My mother wanted to protect us, so we slept on the chairs.
And the next night at some friend's house. I remember my father was pushing us sometimes and was saying bad things to my mother. I couldn't do anything to help. And in order for my mom to avoid that, she would take us and lock ourselves in one room and stay there with us. If he was drinking one night, that meant a week for us to go into hiding.
I became very shy. I was scared to talk to others. I never had a hug from my father. I have no idea what that is like. I saw that in others and I always wanted that, but I never had the chance to have that. He only called me once, and then he told me that he had mistakenly called me.
I watched others becoming successful and I saw that they can. So I asked myself, why can't I do that? Maybe I'm not as privileged as they are, but this does not discourage me to work hard and get somewhere far in life. I would like to thank those who are helping me to fulfill my dream and continue my studies, economic studies. And I would like to encourage others to work hard and not be overwhelmed by your past.
Philip:The miracle of Emma. The younger brother she referred to competed in the Olympic Games in Paris. Her brother — she was deaf and mute until she was five, and today she plays the violin. She is an amazing young girl. And she's one of the kids that you can help us with. In a few days we are getting 25 more girls into Vatra Village. And frankly, we don't have the funds to keep 25 kids.
Philip:I was talking the other day to my son Andrew and my son Philip. I said, wouldn't it be terrible if our budget says we can take nine but we can't take the rest? And all we need is someone like you to join with us to make that concern go away, and a miracle of redemption begins again with these kids. 25 new girls just like Emma are coming into Vatra Village in the next few days.
Philip:And everything you watched — all the homes, the transportation, the food, the bus tickets — over $3,000 a month just for bus tickets alone every month. All of that comes from someone just like you giving a dollar a day. Everything — you can save a life for a dollar a day. If Emma is worth $300,000 a year to a trafficker, I think she's worth a dollar a day to you.
Philip:I think invest in her life to see her saved and serving God, and it'll change who she marries. Her babies will grow up in a different world than she did. The poverty cycle will be broken and the gospel of Jesus Christ will go forward. Maybe you've got an Emma in your family — a young girl, someone that you're praying for and believing God for salvation. Why don't you do something right now and say, I will be a part of this.
Philip:You can call our 800 number: 833-Daily Faith. Our address is really simple — it's PO Box 25, Clinton, Tennessee 37716. Or you can go to dailyfaith.tv and there's a giving page there. Help me today, as this summertime is coming on and is sometimes always fraught with danger for our ministry, because our expenses go up because our outreaches rise because the kids are out of school.
Philip:So the more money we invest and put out in missions, but at that same time in America, the summer slump, as they call it — folk kind of forget about missions. And they're busy living their summer life. And we just need someone to stand in the gap today. And I believe God has allowed us to see each other for this purpose. Maybe you're a business person and God's blessed you to help something just like this. You've got a passion for this, and I'd love you to be a partner with us. Take our address down, it'll be on during the program, and you can be a part with us.
Philip:I'm delighted to have Buddy Meloy with me. He has been a long-time friend. We've known each other since we were both young men — it's hard to believe he's older than I am, of course, but that's beside the point. He has had some tremendous revelations. He pastors a great church called New Life Christian Fellowship in Lake City, Florida. If you're going to Florida, if you're going down to see the Mickey Mouse guy, take a Sunday morning and go and hear this man speak. He will change your life. And we'll be giving you his address later on the program.
Philip:But what he does is, in seasons in the church life, he preaches prophetic revelations as God has given him. And he takes meticulous notes as to what he's preached and when he preached it. And as it is being fulfilled, he comes back and says, on such and such a date I told you this, and here we are, a year later, and this has just happened. And the same thing happens when he is on Daily Faith.

Jeremiah 26 and Preaching the Full Word

Philip:Buddy, I'm delighted to have you with us. Thank you for taking the time to be with me again today. And we are living in crazy days.
Buddy Meloy:We certainly are. And it's great to be back home with you, Philip. Thank you. We had talked about so many things early this morning. I got up last night — yesterday — I wanted to share some things on this program, I knew I was gonna be on. I shared a prophetic message yesterday concerning the season we're in right now. And I was going to touch on that today, but when I woke up this morning, I found myself in Jeremiah 26, and it was like the Holy Spirit was saying, there are words you need to share. He kept me up with it some last night.
Buddy Meloy:And obviously we've been watching what's going on. You've got the DNC this week, which you already alluded to. And I'm kind of jumping into this quick, but let me give you a scripture that the Holy Spirit gave me first thing this morning that I didn't get past. He said, you're to share everything, and then communicate some with pastors. But it's found in Jeremiah 26:2. And he told Jeremiah, he said, I want you to go and stand in the court of the Lord. I want you to speak to all the cities of Judah.
Buddy Meloy:And one of the things that I find is that we as pastors need to realize we're not just to talk to our people — we're to talk to our city. We need to be speaking to our cities. So we need to be taking territory in this arena.
Philip:Absolutely.
Buddy Meloy:But he said specifically, over the ones that worship in the Lord's house — talk to the ones who claim to be worshipers, who claim to go and worship in the Lord's house. And he said, I want you to speak all the words that I command you to speak, but he says, I don't want you to diminish one word. Don't restrain, don't hold back, don't withdraw, do not reduce the words. Don't subtract or omit anything.
Buddy Meloy:Share the whole counsel of God. Whatever God has given you, we need to be sharing it right now. And we should not be cutting out certain passages of scripture or certain subjects or topics simply because we feel like they're not correct or they might offend someone.
Buddy Meloy:I was watching Lauren Cunningham, who pastors a great Church of God church in Charlotte, and that's exactly what he said. He said, we are the church. The problem is that the pastors are not speaking the truth anymore. They're so afraid of what might be thought of them, or trying to win a popularity contest. And that's not the will of God.
Buddy Meloy:So with that, Philip, there are subjects that we need to deal with.
Philip:Absolutely.
Buddy Meloy:And sometimes people talk about, well, that's political. And some of the spiritual things we've put into the political realm now. But last year — it was about a year and a half, it was actually a message for 2023 that I shared — I only touched on it because I didn't feel like I was supposed to go full into the message at that time. But I had the references and I told the people, I said, look, there's getting ready to be another plague. It's coming. And I said, but this time it's gonna be different. I believe it will be a sexually transmitted disease that's going to — you're gonna start hearing about it as a pandemic or as a plague or as a health emergency.

2023 Prophecy of a Sexually Transmitted Plague

Buddy Meloy:Well, later on I was on with you, I think it was in April or May of last year, 2023. And we mentioned it — we mentioned Monkeypox, which is, I said, this is what I feel. The next one's gonna be a sexually transmitted disease that they're gonna really put forward, and they're gonna declare a global emergency or a pandemic.
Buddy Meloy:And then we got into it, and then it kind of faded away. Well, lo and behold, on Friday it comes back. And it's mutated — or been manipulated, we don't know — but they say it's more transmittable. It's sexually transmitted. The first case was just reported in Sweden. So it's now — its origin is in Africa. It's a homosexually transmitted disease, and it is now in Sweden, and as they say, it is mutating and becoming more and more infectious.

Mpox Clade II Outbreak Fulfills Prophecy

Buddy Meloy:So there we go again. It's called Clade 2 — something like C-L-A-D-E 2 — whether it's bodily fluids, I'm just wondering. They say it's sexually transmitted and that you have to watch out for bodily fluids. But the thing was, there was a message attached to that when I did this. There was a message out of scripture that was directly attached to me saying that I believe it's gonna be a sexually transmitted disease. And it came out of 1 Corinthians 10 and Numbers chapter 25.
Buddy Meloy:And of course God had warned the people, his people, about certain practices. So you and I were talking earlier, and I shared — and I think you guys brought up a picture of what's going on at the DNC. And they've put in a mobile unit now for both vasectomies and also for abortions.
Philip:Let me restate that. At the DNC, outside the convention center where they're holding their convention this week, they have a clinic — a portable clinic, a mobile clinic — that is giving free abortions and free vasectomies. And that picture — put that picture back up. And that is an IUD, which is a contraceptive device. And that is — see the woman standing there? So you can get the size of the thing. That is what is outside the door of the DNC in Chicago today. It looks like a ram.
Buddy Meloy:What they're doing is — now think about this — they're offering, I use that word, offering, free abortions, free vasectomies. And if you go back to Judah and Jerusalem, even Solomon — one of the things they did was they put idols and practices at the gates. It got so bad that the practices of idolatry — and they mention that in scripture — it matches something in scripture with the gates of the DNC and actually in the city of Chicago.
Buddy Meloy:But we're talking to cities. And so back in Numbers 25, the story is that Balaam was hired to curse the people of God. He couldn't curse them. He said, I can't curse him, but he said, I can get him to compromise. So he said, what I need you to do is push his compromise. There's a place — it's called Shittim, the place of Acacia meadows. That was the last encampment — so important. Philip, the last encampment of the people of God before they crossed over the Jordan River.
Buddy Meloy:The last place before they crossed over the Jordan was the place where Balaam tried to get, prophetically, the children of Israel, the nation of Israel, to compromise. And so what happened — it's called Baal-Peor also, which is the highest point in Moab. The Midianites are connected to this also, who are both descendants of Lot through his daughters. So you've got all this weird kind of storyline descending down, and the spirit that's attached to that.
Buddy Meloy:You have the story of Peor — amazingly, Baal-Peor. And God calls it Peor and Baal-Peor, which was a fertility god, which also means — Baal-Peor means lord of the opening or the gap. But if you look at the actual word, it deals with the mouth. It's the opening of the mouth through which words pass out or through which food comes in.
Buddy Meloy:Right now what we're dealing with is words and food. You talk about inflation — the picture they're giving of gas is one of them, but really it's people going to the supermarket. So there are words about that, but also words.
Buddy Meloy:There are a couple of key people in the storyline. You've got Shittim, which is the last place of crossing over. The curse that could not fall on the people of Israel until they compromised — there was nothing that could occur until they began to compromise. So they hooked up with — by the way, Baal-Peor was also a false god. It was a god of lies, a god of deceiving, a god of deception, a god of speaking lies.

Baal-Peor: The God of Lies and Deception

Buddy Meloy:I told our church yesterday, I said, you have to watch out for wolves in sheep's clothing. Now, how do you tell a wolf in sheep's clothing? You have to look at his tracks. You have to look at where he's walked. On the outside he looks like a sheep, but you've gotta look at his history. You've gotta look at where he's been walking and the tracks he's left behind.
Buddy Meloy:We're living in a time — and we know it — we're living in a time of great deception. The word Baal-Peor is attached to the god of deception or the god of lies. It's the god of telling lies. And we know it — the devil is the father of lies. Moab — amazing — Moab, the Midianites, the Moabites, this whole thing descending — you've got this deception that is being brought on America right now.

Discerning Wolves by Their Tracks

Buddy Meloy:And what's amazing is when God dealt with it, he used a guy named Phinehas. Remember, he's the one who — he picked up a javelin and they walked right by in front of him, just boldly and brazenly in front of him, and he chases him down with a javelin. You've got two people involved — a guy by the name of Zimri and a woman by the name of Cozbi. Those two are important. Phinehas — the javelin-carrying Phinehas — his name means mouth of brass or mouth of pity.
Buddy Meloy:In other words, when he had to, he could say something strong, but when he had to, he could say something compassionate. The guy who was able to deal with it — and God says, I'm gonna make him the priesthood forever. He said, it's gonna be his line. He said, I'm making a covenant, for this guy's ministry is gonna continue — the one who knows how to speak strongly when necessary, and the one who knows how to be compassionate when necessary.
Buddy Meloy:And he's dealing with the lord of lies, he's dealing with the god of lies. In fact, Cozbi, the woman's name, means one who speaks deception. And yet Zimri's name means one who sings songs of praise. You have a person who sings songs of praise but at the same time beds down with a liar.
Buddy Meloy:And Phinehas, who has this javelin, goes and pierces them both through. I don't know if it was together, I don't know if he caught him in the act, I don't know if he did. Maybe he went all the way into the ground establishing territory, I don't know. But God said the plague stopped there. And I'm not talking about Monkeypox now. I'm actually talking about we need people who have the willingness to take stances that are unpopular.

Phinehas and Courageous Church Leadership

Philip:Absolutely.
Buddy Meloy:And not compromise in the time we're in right now. And also not be willing to bed down with liars. Now, that's a pretty strong statement. But the church needs to recognize when deception is being utilized and not fall into that trap.
Philip:I was watching today — off the job I was watching today — a pastor who has come out, white men for Kamala, and he's a pastor. And I'm thinking, how can someone who serves God, who stands on the truth of the word, announce that he is part of Evangelicals for Kamala, I think is the group he's part of? When outside of the gates of their convention, the thing that you see when you go in is a giant IUD statue — basically, it may be a blow-up thing, but it's a statue — which represents what they believe, at the very gates of the thing.
Philip:Another thing that caught my eye this morning — there's a photograph of a demonstration that took place, it's still taking place as we speak in Chicago. And it's a Free Palestine organization. And there's a banner: Feminists and LGBTQ people for a Free Palestine. Now, what these silly folk don't understand is — I think we should send them all to Gaza or to Iran and let them march up and down the streets of Gaza. I would say it would last about five minutes, because they would all be killed. Because in Islam, that is an abomination and you die for that. They tie your hands behind your back and throw you off high buildings.
Philip:But we are in such a state of deception, Buddy, that the very elect are being deceived. We've got 50 seconds left in this program. You've gotta come back. I have a feeling this thing is just gonna keep accelerating.
Philip:If you want to get in contact with Buddy Meloy, listen to me — you need to hear this man. He's got all his stuff online. It's New Life Christian Fellowship. The website is www.nlcflc.com. And his church is on Bay Drive in Lake City, Florida.

Deception at the Gates of the Nation

Philip:And if you want someone to impart into you and to share and fill your mind with where we are, he's the man. Thank you, Buddy, for being with us today. We appreciate you more than you'll ever know. Thank you for watching Daily Faith. Help us with our new kids coming in. You can make a miracle happen. We'll see you again. Bye-bye.
For over 25 years, the Cameron family has been changing the lives of orphans in Romania and Moldova — from providing running water, flushing toilets, and clean wells, to coal for heat, new windows, as well as food and clothing. They champion the physical needs of the orphans in these broken and desolate countries. Many of Moldova's orphans are saved from the horrors of trafficking through homes founded by the Camerons. And in the process, orphans become daughters and sons. They come to know their heavenly Father and are forever changed by the love of Jesus.
God help the Camerons lift these amazing young men and women out of darkness. Now no longer orphans, they want to return and invade that very same darkness with the light of Jesus Christ. The Orphan's Hands equips these daughters and sons to become missionaries. Your monthly gift of $31 will allow us to rescue and take in more girls and boys, saving them from the hell of human trafficking. Your monthly partnership will allow us to care for those in the Orphan's Hands homes in Moldova and Ukraine.
If you want to join Philip and Chrissy in taking care of these precious young people, please contact us today by calling 833-Daily Faith. You can also give by going online to www.dailyfaith.tv, or by writing to Post Office Box 25, Clinton, Tennessee 37716. So many lives depend on what we do. Thank you for loving the lost.

Common questions

What did Buddy Meloy prophesy about the next pandemic, and did it come true?

About a year and a half before this episode, Buddy preached that the next major health crisis would be a sexually transmitted disease declared a global emergency or pandemic. He specifically pointed to Monkeypox as the likely candidate. He says that prophecy was confirmed when, just before this taping, a mutated strain called Clade 2 — described as more transmissible and sexually transmitted — was reported in Sweden after originating in Africa.

What is the biblical story Buddy connects to the current state of America?

Buddy draws a parallel to Numbers 25 and the story of Baal-Peor, where Balaam — unable to curse Israel directly — instead encouraged the Israelites to compromise morally and spiritually at Shittim, their last encampment before crossing the Jordan. He sees the same spirit of deception and compromise at work in America today, warning that the church is in danger of 'bedding down with liars' just as Israel did before entering the Promised Land.

Who does Buddy say is the biblical model for how the church should respond right now?

Buddy points to Phinehas, whose name means 'mouth of brass or mouth of pity,' as the model. He argues that Phinehas knew when to speak strongly and when to be compassionate, and that God rewarded him with an everlasting covenant of priesthood. Buddy says the church needs people with that same willingness to take unpopular stances without compromising, especially in a time of great deception.

Why does Buddy say pastors are failing the church right now?

Buddy cites Jeremiah 26:2, where God commands Jeremiah not to 'diminish one word' of what he was told to speak. He argues that too many pastors today are cutting out difficult scriptures and topics because they fear offending people or losing a popularity contest, rather than preaching the full counsel of God. He says pastors also need to stop speaking only to their congregations and start speaking prophetically to their entire cities.

What is the significance of the mobile clinic outside the DNC that Buddy and Philip discuss?

Buddy connects the free abortion and vasectomy clinic set up outside the DNC convention center to the biblical practice of placing idols and pagan worship sites at the gates of cities, as happened in Jerusalem during the time of Solomon. He sees it as a modern parallel to the spirit of Baal-Peor — a fertility god associated with deception — being openly displayed at the entrance to a major political gathering.
