Philip:And we're so excited. One of my main passions in life, as far as the ministry's concerned — my family's number one, the Lord of course — but apart from Daily Faith, we have a missionary work in Moldova and Ukraine. We started 33 years ago when I adopted that wee boy, an orphan in an orphanage in Romania, and it has developed from that point into the craziest thing. When God uses you, you never know where you're going. You just take one step at a time, and a door opens, you go through the door, and you think, oh my goodness, why am I here? And then another door opens and you keep on pursuing the will of God.
Philip:We now have in Moldova a village of homes called the Travel Village, where young folk come from orphanages or desperately poor circumstances and they come to that village. It's a beautiful place — a village of six homes right beside the largest lake in Moldova. It is stunning. The homes are as nice as any home in America. We decided when we built these homes to make them as nice — the Lord spoke to me, he says, you treat an orphan as if you should be treating me. And we shipped all the fine furnishings here from America.
Philip:Every house is stunning. The kids come from the worst conditions into these homes. We put them back in school and tell them that if you're born, God has a plan. And we are turning orphans into sons and daughters, and sons and daughters into missionaries. And when this horrendous thing happened in Ukraine, the kids that we had taken in — the first thing we do is to make them give stuff away. We go out into the poor villages and cook meals for years and years. That's the DNA of the ministry. And when the war broke out, our kids kept doing what they'd always done. But instead of going to a village in Moldova, which we still do of course, we are helping these refugees that are under horrendous pressure. Our kids went to Kherson, which is a newly liberated village — or city rather — in Ukraine, and they've just sent me this video. The kids that we rescued made this video. You watch this and be blessed by what their report will bring you.
A year ago their world was a happy place. They had jobs, their kids were in school. The corner shop sold bread and cheese and everything else. Their world was just like yours. Until, through the mist and snow, monsters came. The tracks rumbled on the ice-packed fields. The guns pointed towards the world they lived in — so close, within a second, to obliterate everything they had spent their lives building. There are no accurate numbers as to how many have died. The end is nowhere in sight.
We have been in Ukraine for years. From the first explosion we were involved. We took this assault personally. The orphan's hands could not stand on the sidelines and do nothing. Our amazing group of young men and women did the unimaginable. Once again they drove into a war zone. Once orphans themselves, they have felt personally the hand of grace and redemption. To go to this devastated world seems to them as normal as having a meal or going to church. They drove for hours, unable to stop and stretch their legs, as inches on each side of the vehicles were live mines. Every few miles they were stopped at checkpoints by nervous soldiers. They were running along the line between the Russians and Ukrainians.
Our team finally reached Kherson, a recently liberated city still held in the grip of desperation. They had brought food, wood-burning stoves that will save lives in the bitter, deadly cold that is to come. They brought blankets that to too many is the only barrier between survival and death. On a dreary day, within the sound of guns and bombs, the most astonishing thing took place. The rescued became the rescuers. Hundreds waited in the rain, shuffling along in a line that ended up in love — smiles, bread, fish, and the words of care from the heart of the redeemed.
As they traveled they came across bombed-out villages, scarred by the strife of bullets, destroyed by the landscape of death. Their water, electricity, and everything else was gone. But the wooden stove had become the guardian against the deadly cold. We know it is impossible for most to even imagine this world. But by giving and praying together for this unfolding tragedy, we can join our hearts and hands to bring the hope that was sent to earth by the living God. If it were us, we would wait in line hoping that someone somewhere was thinking of us. We must go back. Will you send us? Every gift you give allows us to be his hands.
Philip:Oh, to be his hand extended, reaching out to the oppressed. If ever there is an oppressed people, it is the mothers and old folk of Ukraine. Our kids are risking their lives to go there amid the bombs and the bullets, to give out food. These stoves cost $150 a piece — you can help with that. You can help buy bread and food, our blankets, everything we need that is under great pressure just now because of the cold. I know this: that if I could take you to that place and let you hear the sirens and hear the concussion of the bomb hitting, you'd be saying, I'll help. I know there's lots of political stuff going on just now — don't pay any attention to that. Our job is to help those that are broken. Our job is to pour oil and wine into those that have fallen amongst thieves, and that's exactly what's happened.
Philip:These folks have fallen amongst thieves. Putin has decided to destroy an entire nation — taking away the fuel, taking away the water, taking away the electricity — and by doing so he is hoping to allow winter, bitter winter, deadly winter, to take and do the rest of the job. And our young folk, orphans themselves, are going back into Kherson. Just recently we were there and gave out to a thousand people standing in line to receive loaves and fishes. That's what we gave out because that's what was available — loaves and fishes.
Philip:And when I saw the video that you've just seen, I thought, oh God, please multiply the loaves and fishes. I need you to help me today. Make a gift today. 2023 Prophetic Word Origins
Philip:Lovely. Tell us what's happening at New Life.
Buddy Meloy:Well, you know, I've been sharing — you mentioned that I do things at the beginning of the year, and actually I start back in the previous year. So I started some messages back in 2022, and I did one in May of 2022, and I've done three or four since then and I didn't get to finish them. So I've been kind of hitting them here in January, saying, you know what, I'm going to be doing some openings with them, do a whole message, do some of my intros and tell you these things. And what's amazing is even the first one I did in May — which you just mentioned some things about — are we circling back around? Thank you. Back around. Point number nine on my message: in May, 2023 will be a year of circling back to the same conclusions. Find ourselves circling back to the same conclusions. That's point number nine from a message I did on 2023 in May.
Double Government Transition Forecast
Buddy Meloy:And one of the things I said — I said, you know, and I think I've shared this with you — I said there'll be double government transition. We've had one, I believe we're going to have another. I said 2022 would be a year of recompense. So you're going to see payback coming back home. I said you're going to see people will move from places and positions, and I said yes, well, things that people have done to others, I said, will start happening to them. And so right — remember me saying that? Yes. And now it's Biden. And I said 2023 will be a year of consecutive events. So I said once an event starts it'll be like a TV series. There will be episodes — consecutive episodes of the same story, only consecutive times.
Year of Consecutive Events
Buddy Meloy:Oh, you know what that is? The leaking of the documents by Biden, now with Pence. But get this one — what about the leaking of the Twitter files? That has been consecutive. Yes, consecutive. But it will be like the event of a TV show. You'll be like watching it — okay, that's episode one, this is episode two, stay online, there's more coming. And they'll always cut off and say stay tuned, or they leave you hanging, and the next one's coming. And then came the vote in Congress — 15 votes. It was consecutive votes. Yeah. Oh my. And then the storms off the coast of California — I watched all the radar as they had two sitting out there while one was going over across. They said it's an atmospheric river and it was consecutive storms right after the other. This morning on Fox they just said there's another one in the Midwest and I think Bismarck is going to go to 19 below zero tonight — a new storm, consecutive. Now wild.
Buddy Meloy:It's happening in government, it's happening in the voting realm — you're watching all these things happening consecutively. I even had our church on Sunday, I said, look, I said I really feel we need to know these things and be aware. Whatever happens in your area, you need to be praying that God would do this. I said one of the things I pray — I said, you know, thanks for Florida is hurricanes. So we pray on Sunday. I said, look, we just pray that anything that would try negatively, consecutively, try to come to Florida — we take authority over it, we pray God protect our state. And I really feel that everything was probably going to be more local. Remember I told you that everything was going more local? Yes, yes, we talked about that a few years ago. Remember? And yeah, everything's going more local — silent cities, things like that.
Buddy Meloy:But you know, the other night — and obviously what I think the Spirit said about 2023 back in May — that's a get ready. Not only will there be double government transition, you're going to see it — we're going to go back to keeping things cool. And we'll become obsessed with numbers, which we are, with the debt and things like that. Yes. We had enough votes to be able to get McCarthy in as Speaker. Yes. What was the number, Philip? It was 20. The number was 20. Yeah, and the word kept speaking to me — twenty, twenty, like 2020, 2023, 2020. He said if they're going to be keeping score, there's something about 2023 — they're going to start keeping score. So all these numbers, and they're going to be obsessed with numbers, and they were trying to get to that vote to get him in. So those were things — double transition, keeping score, and evening the score.
Buddy Meloy:Well, evening the score — we're going to go back to evening the score. So you saw what was happening with the committees. Yes. Okay, so we're going to committee there, evening the score. And I just feel they're trying to even the score when it comes to 2023. But there's something else I was talking about — by the way, be aware that 2022, 2023, and 2024 are all interconnected to each other. So there is an interconnection. But there's a throwback — for me the Holy Spirit really emphasizes this, Philip. It's so strong talking about it right now — of 2001. 2001 is connected to this year. And so 2001 was a major year of transition. We had obviously 9/11 that occurred, and that set off a series of events taking place as far as changing our government — like the NSA, things like that. Yes, all at a higher level. We're watching these things take place.
2001 Spiritual Connection to 2023
Buddy Meloy:I have a real, kind of something stuck in my spirit about this year in that area. So people need to be praying in this area over some of our major cities. New York and London are two of the cities that really, really stuck out. I had a dream about them years ago and I think we need to be praying over them. And something else the Holy Spirit really woke me up about — because this was point number ten in my message on 2023 that I did back in May — and it says 2023 will be about discord and chaos. And discord is a lack of agreement or harmony, as between persons, things, and ideas. So, you know, we're obviously watching that in our governmental system. We saw the discord that happened even back at the beginning of the year. In fact, the other night Atlanta had something called a Night of Rage. Yes, yes, they had that Night of Rage.
Discord and Chaos Warning
Buddy Meloy:So one of the things I kept looking at — in government the Holy Spirit woke me up the other night. He said, you need to warn the people. Warn the people that this discord is not just within the government or in Congress or any of those other areas. Watch it — that same spirit does not come into your home, to your church, to your business. Because that's what it's functioning as right now. And surely you know the spirit of the last days tells us that offense, betrayal, and lawlessness — something you and I have talked about many times, even going back a few years ago. But he said discord and chaos. And chaos is the state — I mean, the devil is the author of confusion. He works in the world of confusion.
Buddy Meloy:I've heard the Democrats say many, many times, I never let a crisis go to waste. And what a crisis is, is confusion. They're badly now with these deficits — they've just spent seven-something trillion dollars that we don't have and we can't afford. And all of that money has been spent because, oh my God, the sky is falling down, we've got to spend this or else. And what they do is they get everyone running back and forth, colliding with each other. And in the middle of confusion the devil takes advantage of it. And what you're saying is we've got to guard — let me speak in the church — we've got to walk together with unity, because where the brethren dwell together, that's where the Lord commands the blessing.
Philip:And so the devil is working against unity in your family, in your business, and your church. And you're going to be watching and guarding for that and nipping it in the bud, as we say in Scotland. Don't let it grow and flourish — get on it.
Buddy Meloy:But unity mimics the anointing. The anointing, according to Psalm 133, says it's like the oil that ran down Aaron's beard and down his body. The anointing flows together like oil. And it says if it ran down his beard, down his body, any place there was a break in the body, that oil stopped. The oil didn't touch the areas where there were breaks. So what people need to recognize is where there's breaks or discord, there's a break in the anointing. It is like — if you go back to the day of Pentecost, they were all in one place and one accord, one place, one mind, and the Holy Spirit came. There was the sound from heaven like a mighty rushing wind. And I really believe that we don't understand the power of this thing called discord.
Philoneikia and the Broken Anointing
Buddy Meloy:And the Holy Spirit woke me up because I've been saying, well, I see that in government, I see it's going to come. And obviously when the election took place and there was a transition, it started out in chaos and discord. Oh Jesus. Are we going to have a speaker in the house? There was no — there might be something else that we've never seen take place. There were all kinds of things being thrown around and we still have some of that going on right now. But one of the things the Holy Spirit said — he says, tell the people it's not just that — watch it, and you'll find yourself, if you're not careful, feeling those feelings. Chaos always occurs prior to a prophetic transition. Wherever there's a prophetic transition about to take place, discord and chaos are part of it.
Buddy Meloy:I think it's from there. Yeah. I mean, Jesus — I shared this last night with our church. I was on a different subject but I used it to touch on this. Basically Jesus is sitting at the Last Supper with his disciples. He says, one of you is going to betray me — which we know, offense, betrayal. He said, one of you is going to betray me. It's like a mystery. Everyone's going, who? They're all really quiet. But then the discussion changed, Philip. They broke out into a strife immediately. It says, who's the greatest in the kingdom? It went — the next verse talks about who's the greatest in the kingdom, and it says they broke out into strife.
Buddy Meloy:I've never seen this before. I looked at the word strife and I thought it was a normal word for strife, but it is not. It is the word philonekia — a lost love. They broke out into a love for quarreling, a fondness for arguing, broke out at the Last Supper. Oh my goodness. Jesus is sitting right there at the table. They had just had communion — this is my body which is broken for you, which we know represents the body of Christ itself. And later Paul teaches us we've got to have that unity. We have communion, because not discerning the body, some of you are sick, you're not being healed, and all these things — the anointing's being broken to heal your body. And they want to fight right there. There's a break in the body.
Buddy Meloy:So they're sitting there — Paul warned of that when he's teaching in 1 Corinthians 11 about it. And so here we are at the communion, the beginning, the first communion service, and Jesus officiated. Jesus is officiating. There's no hope for us. Because it says it just wasn't philonekia — it was a fondness and a love for quarreling. Right there before my Lord Jesus, the love there was like — they kind of enjoyed it. They were enjoying the discord, having a bit of that. They're just naturally quarreling and fighting people.
Buddy Meloy:Yeah. And he starts — look, what we need to watch out for — he says that's the way the Gentiles do things, and they argue over position, but it should not be that way for you. He said, later on you're going to sit and judge the 12 tribes anyway when I come into my kingdom. So yeah, one of the things we've got to look out for right now — the body of Christ needs to look out for this. Because you're going to feel it in your own spirit, you'll feel it with a spouse, you're going to feel it with your children, your children are going to feel it with you. But when you recognize it, you can battle with it. And so that was one of the things the Holy Spirit really — he said, emphasize this, emphasize this. And I did it last night. I shared it and then I went into the message that I was going to go into anyway. But that's what I've been doing — I've been taking some of these things about 2023 that the Holy Spirit showed me.
Buddy Meloy:I mean, like this thing — and they're saying it now. I know you're ministering and you pray. One of the messages that I've shared — I've already kind of shared some of it — there will be a shortage of weaponry in America. That is mind-blowing. The king's chariots, 10,000 soldiers — I could go back and read the passage. I'm going to read it. And I heard yesterday that one of the guys was saying we have used seven years' worth of production of missiles. Yeah, right. Yeah, seven years. So with all this, 2023 — you know, obviously I believe there's some good things happening. Don't let the anointing be broken by the discord.
Prayer for Unity and Peace
Philip:I speak a blessing over our church every week, every week at the end. I speak the Aaronic blessing over them. There are people watching this now — folk watching just now — that literally, their world is in the washing machine or in the tumble dryer. Their world is in confusion. There's discord at the fountain of everything. Everything's going on at the same time because the devil just, as you said, threads these things — one thing after the other. Can you pray right now? Because this is the anointing that's revealed this to you. Can you pray a prayer of healing and covering at this moment? We've got a minute left. Ask the Lord to really be close to folks just now and let them have eyes to see these things.
Buddy Meloy:Yes. Heavenly Father, we do pray for this. Thank you, Jesus, for recognizing with the Spirit. But also pray that that same anointing of peace be released in the homes, in America, in the churches. We speak peace. Even as in the Aaronic blessing, that the peace would be over the households. And God, we just believe that that same anointing that breaks the yoke of bondage would flow into homes in the name of Jesus. Jesus reigns. Let there be an outpouring of the Spirit of God as it was on the day of Pentecost over our land. Yes. We thank you for this and believe that it is done in the name of Jesus. Amen.
