Philip:Hello, my friend. Welcome to Daily Faith. I'm delighted to have you with us today. We have got a great program for you. As I said in the, we dwell, we warm up, and I'm convinced that God arranges stuff. I had a dear friend many years ago called Arthur Bart, a tremendous man of God, one of the most unusual men I've ever met in my life. And he used to say to me all the time, Philip, you can't fix the fixer. God is the one that fixes stuff. And you can do whatever you want. You can run one way or the other way, and he'll get you and he'll pull you back to where his will is.
Philip:And whatever you're going through, whatever you are going through right now, God's in control. And he wants you to let Jesus take the wheel. Take your hands off the circumstance. The battle is not yours. It's the Lord's. The biggest trouble I've ever had myself in is when I tried to do something by myself. But that great moment when you release it to the Father and say, look, not my will, but thine be done. I don't know how to fix this mess, but I love you and I trust you, and I know that you love me, and you're gonna see me through.
Philip:And I believe that God has a purpose today. I'll reannounce it again — my son Andrew, that we adopted when he was three years of age from an orphanage in Romania, got his pilot's license today, and we are on later. It's pretty very, very cool. I'm so proud of him. And we've been waiting for him to get back from the airport so we can do this program with you. We do mission work. We've been going there for 35 years. When I adopted Andrew 35 years ago, I had no idea that God, the fixer, was taking me to where he wanted me to be and said, this is your job from now on. And 35 years have passed, and we've been there.
Philip:I've been there personally, way over a hundred, two hundred times. We have a great village, an amazing place called Vara Village. It's on the shores of the largest lake in all of Moldova. And we bought it — it was built for rich people, and they poisoned that lake with chlorine to kill algae. And those houses became — they were being built and they stopped building them, and they sat empty for nine years. And we bought them. And now what happens is those girls you're looking at — and there are one of the houses as boys in it also — those girls are kids that come from poor houses or orphans, and they come to us instead of being trafficked.
Philip:They come to us, we share the gospel with them, put them back in school. Every girl you're looking at, if a trafficker were to get her, she would make money for them — $300,000 a year. And they come to us and they hear the gospel, and these kids are turning from orphans to sons and daughters to missionaries. And when this war broke out, we also have a home in Odessa, Ukraine. We've had it there eight years. We've been there long before the war broke out — or the war that you knew about broke out. There was a war in Donbass. And then we helped there. We've been helping there for eight years.
Philip:But we built this home, a gorgeous house in Odessa, Ukraine. And it's full of young girls right this minute, going to school, right in the threat of war. The other night they went out with the house parent and they all dressed up like young girls would. And they went out and suddenly they sent me a video of them walking. And then you hear the sirens going off, and then this voice telling them to run for cover. And then the next was the impact of a missile. So our kids are living right under the threat of all this stuff. And I'm here watching all the politics and all the this side against that side.
Philip:And all I'm interested in is saving these lives from being destroyed by bombs. So it's amazing how you can see things with a different perspective. But we started this place, as I said, 35 years ago, and now most recently, Vara Village. And we got a testimony tape just the other day. Our kids make — we don't have a production crew in Moldova. Our kids make these videos, music, everything, write them as you see them. And this is about a lovely girl, not long ago being with us. Her name is Ana. Watch this.
Every day my mother would prepare our clothes and placed them outside just in case my father came home drunk. That way we could quickly grab them, get dressed and run. My name is Ana and I am studying to become a baker. My dream is to build a successful career in pastry. Growing up, my home was never truly safe.
My father would always come home drunk, and every time my heart would pound with fear. I knew what was coming. My mother would be beaten again. And each time we had to flee, running through the night, knocking on neighbors' doors, begging them to take us in.
I remember one night when we couldn't escape in time. My father came home drunk and attacked my mother. Somehow she managed to break free and we, the children, ran with her as fast as we could, terrified. But he started throwing stones at us as we fled. And the pain of that moment left a deep scar in my heart.
The few times he didn't drink felt like stolen moments of happiness. In those rare days, our home wasn't filled with screams. And I clung to those moments hoping they would last, but they never did. By the time I turned 15, we had lived in five different places trying to escape him.
Yet no matter where we went, he always found us, always dragged us back into fear. But now, thank God, he doesn't come anymore. I am incredibly grateful to the Orphan's Hands family for giving me this opportunity to stay here in such a wonderful home, for giving me the chance to study and have a future. Thank you.

Mike Thompson and The Lion's Army Book
Mike Thompson:Yes. Oh, Philip, man of God, we are in a day and an hour where we need all of the power of heaven that we can get. And it's not that God has any more today than he did yesterday — it's that he's leading us into a season and a time where he is teaching us how to tap into it to a greater degree. You know, I'm a warrior, always have been. What I mean by that is a spiritual warrior. You know, in Revelation 5:5, it says that Jesus is the Lion of the tribe of Judah. Hallelujah.
Prophetic Battlefield Vision Explained
Mike Thompson:Well, I had an encounter with the Lord some years back that was just life changing. It was phenomenal. And the Lord in this encounter, he took me up in vision form over a large battlefield. And in this battlefield, the Lord showed to me three major armies of demonic hordes that had entered America over the last decade or so.
Philip:Three armies.
Mike Thompson:Three armies. Wow. And then he also in this warfare — because there was a battle that took place — he showed me three divine weapons that the body of Christ, the warriors of Jesus, have in prayer, in authority, in spiritual dynamics, in order to defeat them. And the book details that — that's the first part of the book. It goes through those encounters that I had, explains them, and then the book segues into talking about the ways of the spirit.
Philip:Because the Lord really — let me say this to you, Mike — I think a whole segment of the church doesn't really think that this spiritual warfare is real. We've so dumbed down the church that we think, you know, demons and spiritual forces and angelic beings — I mean, it's real.
Reality of the Spiritual Realm
Mike Thompson:It is. It's a real world. Oh, absolutely. And you know, I mean, how could you be a Christian and not believe in the spiritual realm? It's impossible, because the Bible says that God is a spirit and that we worship him in spirit and in truth. The Bible says that God himself created the physical universe. So we walk actually as human beings — we have an internal human spirit on the inside of us that's birthed by God. We live inside of this physical body. And so we walk in the natural realm and the spiritual realm simultaneously.
Mike Thompson:Well, if we spent all of our growing up years learning how to walk in the natural realm just to get by in our natural life and do all the things we do, then how much more profitable would it be for us to learn how to also walk in the spiritual realm? And that's so much of what my book is about.
Philip:We are so earthbound mortals. We live in things we can see and touch and taste and hear and smell. But the dimensions of God that we don't take the time to practice — and I think that's part of the problem.
Mike Thompson:Oh, it definitely is. Well, first of all, you gotta hear. And so that takes people like Philip, you and me and others who will just share with believers and share with the world the fact that there is a spiritual realm. And you know, we were born to walk in the supernatural. Absolutely. We live in the spirit.
Philip:There are so many people — I've said for years, when I've looked at my kids and my grandkids and they're newborns, I'll say to my wife, I'll say, Chrissy, look at that. Look at those eyes. Those eyes are not seeing for the first time. It's like they've come from a different dimension. And they could almost unlearn that realm to come to live in this realm. But that realm is real, and the church needs to come alive and be aware that we are in a season of battle. Tell us about these three different armies that you saw. What were they about?
First Army: Shriekers and Screamers
Mike Thompson:Well, first of all, the Lord shared with me that these are repetitive and cyclical — that they're free floating. In other words, that these demonic armies are just looking for something to attach themselves to, any kind of cause in America, in the world. But he was dealing with me mostly in the United States, what had been happening. And he said that the first demonic horde that entered the battlefield to come against the Lion's Army — I saw them coming down this field, and they were just grotesque. And they were hideous. And they were making just a cacophony of all kinds of noise, screaming at the top of their lungs. And then to my right, I heard a loud lion's roar. And I turned and looked.
Mike Thompson:And because I was in a lofty position, down below I could see a huge lion. It was Jesus. And stretched out in front of him was this huge army of believers and of angels. The army, the righteous warriors, had on their armor and their swords were held up high, ready for the battle. And when the lion roared, not only did the roar come forth, but also there were words in the roar. And the words that were in the roar were, you have lost, we have won.
Mike Thompson:So simultaneously that went into the back of the righteous army, and they, with the lion, said, you have lost, we have won. What a decree of faith. Hallelujah. Yes. For what was gonna happen. And so the Lord — of course, shortened version — this first demonic horde that was coming was called Shriekers and Screamers.
Philip:Oh, listen, Mike — before you go on — I know exactly what you're talking about. You are watching the Shriekers and Screamers on the streets. My goodness. What a description.
Mike Thompson:Yes. That's what you're watching in the news every night — Shriekers and Screamers. Totally. And they attach themselves to anything, anything that is righteous or profitable. The first thing is the Shriekers and Screamers, and that's the name that they had in the vision. Well, the spirit of God lifted the righteous army up over the heads. And they spoke with the lion, you have lost, we have won again. And when they did, fire came out of their mouths, and the war angels were in the fire. The fire symbolizes the power of God. Hallelujah. Supernatural power of God.
Mike Thompson:And so when the fire would hit them, they would begin to just get slower and slower until they were eventually paralyzed. Well, on the far end of the battlefield, then a huge beast rose up. And on his left was another demonic horde. And first of all, he screamed at the Shriekers and Screamers and said, scream louder, yell harder. Because he knew the power was in the scream. The power was to intimidate and throw people off balance.
Mike Thompson:And cause them to question themselves and everything that they believed. Then he said, go forth. And the next army was called Lying Unity. And they came — and Lying Unity's face was rather normal, Philip, but they had this smirk on the side of their mouths because they knew they were going to deceive.
Second Army: Lying Unity and Deception
Philip:Oh, Mike, this is amazing.
Mike Thompson:Yeah. Shriekers and Screamers had caused so much commotion that Lying Unity came in now — not unity of the spirit, not godly unity. Lying Unity. Unity of the flesh. Deception, trickery. And get them to believe that Lying Unity had the power to bring peace, because, you know, everybody wants peace. But it wasn't godly peace. It was natural peace — to deceive and to get a foothold.
Mike Thompson:And then at that point, with the lion, the Lion's Army, the righteous warriors spoke at them and they said, you have lost, we have won. And when they did, instead of fire, it was light — blinding light. And angels were in the light. It was the truth of the word of God. It was revelation, illumination, that broke the deception.
Third Army: Punishers and Enforcers
Mike Thompson:And then the beast turned to his right. And he sent forth the next one. And that demonic horde was called the Punishers and Enforcers. And they came on the heels of Lying Unity, who had deceived. The Punishers were just blood lust. All they wanted to do was cause pain against any that opposed them. But the Enforcers were calculated to gain control — not only over righteous warriors, but this was spiritually being fought out for humanity, for the population in America.
Philip:Well, as you're talking about this, you've just described exactly what is taking place in the public square of America.
Mike Thompson:Oh, totally. Yeah. And the world.
Philip:I was watching the other day — I like you, you call it soccer, we call it football. And England was playing and it was like a tournament, and America was part of this. And they were all wearing — all of their numbers on their jerseys were in the rainbow flag colors. And I'm thinking, what has that got to do with a game of football, that they would accuse and submit and scream and rant and rave and get their way to present, through a soccer game, their perversion? It's everywhere in the world we're living in. And it's all in this vision that you've had. That's amazing.
Mike Thompson:Oh, yes. Yeah. And you know what happened on the third army, the horde that came forth — when the Punishers came, when the Lion's Army spoke, you have lost, we have won, wind came out of their mouths. And it symbolized the move of the spirit of God and the glory of God that was coming forth. So that's a nutshell — I go into in depth about how that army has been working against the United States in so many ways, because it's spiritual demons behind it that are causing it. That's where our warfare is, Philip. Breaking that power.
Philip:Absolutely. The moment you spoke the Shriekers and Screamers, you watch them, you see them, you recognize them. So that was the first army. The second army again was Lying Unity. What an amazing description. Today I was watching the pushback against men in women's sport. In other words, men didn't accept it — they've rejected it. And here's all the pictures on the screen of all the government officials that voted against it. And I'm thinking, my God, how can you vote against protecting women's sports?
Mike Thompson:They don't care. They're liars. They are deceivers.
Philip:That's right. That's what they do. It's unbelievable.
Mike Thompson:That's right. Deception, Lying Unity. Totally.
Philip:And everything. Wow. This book — and then the Punishers and Enforcers. It's amazing. You have just described the three things you saw in that vision. Each one has individually taken my breath away, because it is the perfect description of what we are witnessing on our streets, in our thoroughfares, part of our whole life. Our kids — you can't go in a store. They walk in 50 of them and destroy the whole store and steal and walk out, because the destroyers — they're just part of this evil force. And yet God has an army. God has an answer every time.
Mike Thompson:That's the most important thing that we can say. We're part of the Lion's Army. Hallelujah. And it's not that all believers necessarily are in the army — they have the capacity to be. But those who have picked up the gauntlet, those warriors who have risen up to confront the darkness — the Lord's given us a way. And then I'll say, Philip, that from there the Lord spoke to me and he said, what I want you to do in the book is I want you to teach the ways of the spirit for these last days.
Teaching Believers to Walk in the Spirit
Mike Thompson:And so I do the most in-depth teaching that I've ever done — 47 years of ministry — the most in-depth teaching on how to walk in the spirit, how to hear the voice of God, how to recognize the moving of the spirit in the form of the Lord, how to hear and move in spiritual dynamics and understand all of these things.
