About Robbie Mathis
Pastors Robbie and Jill have been married since August 1996. They have three children: Bennett, Malachi, and Kara. They are the founders and Senior Pastors of Freedom Tabernacle since its inception in 2000. Prior to founding Freedom Tabernacle, Pastor Robbie served as the pastor of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church from 1996 to 2000. As natives of Forsyth County, this couple feels a strong calling to minister to and unite the Body of Christ within the North Georgia region. Their service to this community extends beyond the church, as Robbie served as a teacher at Otwell Middle School from 1994 to 2004, while Jill still serves as a physical therapist at Champion PT in Cumming, Georgia. Pastor Robbie has an Associate's Degree, a Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Education, as well as a Master's Degree Associate's Degree in Education. Robbie and Jill have a passion to see lives transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit.
They have led marriage classes and conferences, and Robbie has preached in various churches within and beyond the country, including Cuba, Canada, and Nicaragua. Robbie and Jill have a love for people of all ages and enjoy witnessing people encounter the love of Jesus. This loving and caring couple states, "God has truly blessed us and we are so humbled that God has called us for this purpose!"
