From Prophetic Promise to Twin Campuses: God’s Timing Brings Double Increase

About this episode

Pastor Robbie Mathis of Freedom Tabernacle joins Philip Cameron to share one of the most remarkable church-growth stories of the year — how a single prophetic word from his wife Jill ignited the launch of two new church campuses exactly nine months later. At the close of 2024, Jill took the microphone and declared that the congregation should enter the new year "expecting" — a word that carried a double meaning, like a woman who is pregnant and anticipating new life. What neither of them realized was that God was already orchestrating a twin birth. Robbie recounts how, within just five days in July 2025, God supernaturally opened doors for two campuses — one in Dahlonega, Georgia, and one in Ball Ground, Georgia — without long-term debt or costly leases. "God just laid these campuses in our lap," Robbie says. The campus pastors in Ball Ground had even relocated to a home just seven minutes from the new meeting location, a detail God had quietly arranged months in advance. As Freedom Tabernacle celebrates its 25th anniversary, Robbie and Philip offer a timely word to pastors and leaders who feel stuck: "We're in a season of acceleration." If you've been carrying a promise that seems delayed, this conversation will rebuild your expectation and faith.

Part of our Prophetic collection of conversations.

Quotes worth sharing

From that word that my wife Jill released at the end of the year, it's nine months later — nine months later — we opened these two campuses. And it's what Jill said. She said, God gave us twins. Twins.

Robbie Mathis

It took Noah decades — over a hundred years — to build a boat. But the moment the rain fell, it was a totally different situation. And I'm gonna tell you, it's time to get your expectation levels up.

Philip

My wife Jill, she's like, who launches two new campuses at the same time? God. God did that.

What's Discussed

Pastor Robbie Mathis of Freedom Tabernacle shares how a prophetic declaration by his wife Jill at the end of 2024 — centered on the word 'expecting' — foreshadowed the birth of two new church campuses nine months later. In July 2025, within just five days, God opened doors for campuses in Dahlonega, Georgia, and Ball Ground, Georgia, both without debt or long-term leases. The Ball Ground campus pastor lived only seven minutes from the new facility — a detail God had arranged months prior. As Freedom Tabernacle marks its 25th anniversary, Robbie and Philip call pastors into a season of acceleration, urging them to trust God's timing and raise their expectation.

Intro

Philip:Hey, welcome to Daily Faith Today. My name is Philip Cameron, and I am absolutely thrilled to have you with us today. We've got a great guest, a great friend of this ministry with a great church, and something crazy has happened in his ministry this last year.
Philip:And I wanted to come and talk to you about this because I believe that there are pastors that will watch this, whether it's live or when it's replayed. But I believe that God is going to use today's program to inspire you to great things.
Philip:Iron sharpens iron. Our job is to encourage each other to step out further and go further and reach higher and wider. And Robbie Mathis is a friend of mine for years, and I've been going to this church.
Philip:It's a tremendous church. And God did something this year that is blowing my mind watching it, and I know it's blowing his mind living through it. And you are gonna be blessed by it. If you could help us today by hitting the share button that you have on your device,
Philip:and then letting people know — we discovered that when you have a Christian program, they designate you with a code and they can restrict or open up that to see. I get things from them all the time. We are expanding your viewing audience because of the good quality of program
Philip:that you are producing. And I'm thinking, how come you are expanding it? You should be leaving me alone and letting those who let it happen. But the one way we can expand is by you telling your friends about it and sharing it with your Facebook page or your pages that you are on on social media.
Philip:So we're just excited to be with you today. And also, there's a wee bell on your screen — if you tap that bell, when Daily Faith comes on the air, we will be able to alert you and let you know we're gonna be there. Daily Faith is here to encourage you in your walk with Jesus.
Philip:Let me tell you, we are living in the most incredible days in the history of mankind. We are living what the prophets prophesied about. And I hope your lamp is trimmed and burning. I hope you are ready to hear the trumpet sound,
Philip:'cause I really feel that God is about to say, it's over. Son, go get your bride. And I am saying, even so, come Lord Jesus. Daily Faith is on YouTube. You can check us out at youtube.com/dailyfaith.
Philip:On that same platform I do two or three different reels every week. The Lord gives me some point of inspiration. It takes anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute and 15 seconds, depending how long I want to talk to you.
Philip:But what it does is it gives you a wee nugget. Sometimes God can put just a little thing into your spirit that God uses to expand your vision and your purpose and what you're doing. And so we want you to be a part of that also.
Philip:And if you're watching us on CTN, Integrity Network, Journey Network, and WGGS Network all across America, wherever you're watching us, we are delighted that you are part of our family as we see the day approaching. Let's get together because we have work to do
Philip:for the kingdom of God. You're gonna meet my friend Robbie Mathis in a couple of minutes and he's gonna bless you, 'cause God's been doing something unique in his life. And it's your turn. It's your turn. I'm delighted you're with me. Welcome to Daily Faith.
Philip:Hey, welcome to Daily Faith Today. My name is Philip Cameron, and I am so glad you are here with us. There are times and seasons in our world that God uses to accelerate points of our life. I remember one day on a very wet, cold,
Philip:miserable January day. I was standing in a village on a village green with houses around about me in Moldova. And we had stretched and reached ourselves, had gone through a tremendous battle.
Philip:And as Andrew, now my son, were standing on this little village green in the middle of this village that had been built years before — nine years before — on the largest lake in the country. And so as we were standing there,
Philip:the Holy Ghost spoke to me clear. And he said, I want you to believe me for this property. You could have knocked me over with a feather. I thought, are you kidding me? I knew how much they were asking for it.
Philip:And I said, Andrew, I says, this is crazy, but we gotta believe God for this place. And suddenly we were accelerated. I came back to America after having signed a contract that I had not a dime, not a penny for.
Philip:And I just got home. I'm sitting in my living room in my house thinking, what on earth have I done? I mean, I was sick in my stomach. You're talking the bulk of a million dollars I just signed my name to.
Philip:And I'm thinking, what am I gonna do? How do I start? And the phone dinged and I picked up — it was a text. And it was from Marcus Lamb, who has passed on to be in heaven. But he was the founder of Daystar Television.
Philip:And he texted me a photograph of him and his wife Joni — a dear friend of mine — and President Trump and Melania in the White House. And he says, look where I am. And I thought, wow.
Philip:And this inspiration hit me and I texted him back, that is nothing at all. I just bought a village. I just bought a village. And he is in the White House, and I got the text right back.
Philip:What? How are you gonna pay for this thing? And I said, someone like you is gonna help me. Right back again he says, I will pay for one of the houses right away. Hadn't preached about it, haven't written anything about it.
Philip:I had just taken a step of faith. And God said, if you get outta that boat, I'm gonna move on your behalf. Now we criticize Peter for sinking. Most of us would never have got out of the boat. All the other boys were lying down in the bottom of the boat, scared to death,
Philip:'cause they thought Jesus was a ghost. And I'm here to tell you something. God's going to talk to you today through this program to get out of the boat in your circumstance. And my dear friend Robbie Mathis has gone through a crazy experience that he's gonna be talking to us in a few minutes.
Philip:Before that, I want to share with you a new video that we just got yesterday from Moldova. For those that don't know, we have that village I was telling you about. It is packed. It is paid for. It's the most gorgeous place you've ever seen. It's on the largest lake in Moldova, built for rich people.
Philip:And they poisoned that lake with chlorine to kill algae, and no one wanted to buy the houses. Now they've fixed the lake — that's all repaired and better. But these girls come to us from the hand
Philip:of the trafficker. If the trafficker gets these girls, each one you see will make $300,000 a year for the trafficker. And we take them to Vatra Village, our beautiful village that God gave us, and we put them back in school. And we tell them, if you are born, God has a plan for you.
Philip:You're not a mistake. No matter what you've been told in the orphanage, you are not a mistake. God has a purpose for your life. It's crazy. And they are transformed by the power of God and become evangelists and missionaries. And every month we have a family day when all the kids
Philip:get together and fun erupts. And they just sent me this — this is the most recent family day. Watch this.
Philip:We had a team from a church in Shreveport, Louisiana over there. And to say the least, it blew their mind. A lot of folk come to us to go to Moldova. And if you are a church and you wanted to send a team to Moldova, get in contact with us.
Philip:And what happens is most times when a team comes over to minister, these kids are the ones that do the ministering to the team that comes from America. And the pastor of that church, The Healing Place in Shreveport, contacted me and he says, Philip, I need to go over there.
Philip:I need to see what happened because my folk have come back just transformed by the visit. And those kids, every month they do this, and it's just a great time. And here's something funny. What they discovered was that there's an AI program — every month I speak to the kids
Philip:and up to now it has been interpreted. But this new AI program has taken my voice, so it's me, and I speak to the camera like I'm talking to you, and then it translates it. So when I'm speaking, it's my voice,
Philip:but I'm talking in Romanian. So when they put that on for the first time, our kids freaked out. Oh my Lord, he can suddenly speak Romanian. Now it was done by AI, but these kids that you're looking at, every one
Philip:of them have been redeemed by someone like you. Your monthly support has made that miracle happen. And when you see all those kids together in one place, you see the impact that we are having. These young folk are back in university studying to become doctors and teachers and police officers
Philip:and all kinds of stuff that's gonna eventually come to float to the leadership of that country. And I believe we can save a nation one child at a time. And something terrible happened a few months ago — a little girl, underage. We are allowed 16 and older.
Philip:And this girl was 14, in a horrendous situation. Terrible, terrible, unspeakable situation. And they contacted us from the village. The mayor says, can you take this girl out of this family? And we knew she was underage for our age
Philip:restrictions, but we felt because of the crisis that we had to do something. So we took her in and we had to put her back after a couple of months. And she got into what you're looking at. She was part of the fun. And she was learning praise and worship, and it was wonderful.
Philip:And we had to drive her back to hell. And she got back and within a week she was gang raped by 10 men. And we could do nothing. So we've been looking and we found houses — two homes
Philip:and a city, and there's a barn. It's a farm with a barn. You're looking at it right now. And this place, when we're finished with it, will house 50 kids — new kids between the age of four and 16.
Philip:So if that ever happens again, we have a safe place for them to come, between the age of four and 16. Now the colors and stuff will change — I don't know how anyone could paint a house those colors. But that's beside the point. We bought the house,
Philip:the furniture is gonna be going in, we'll be putting bunks in there. That house is ready, apart from painting — it's ready to go. The other house needs finishing. We have got one payment left on this house of $150,000 to take care of everything.
Philip:And we just need someone to help us get that done. And before we can open these houses, we need 300 new sponsors giving $1 a day. You can change someone's life for eternity for $1 a day.
Philip:To me that is such a simple thing. You can't resist God's voice for less than the price of a can of Coke. Less than the price of a can of Coke, you can take a wee girl —
Philip:this little girl called Maria. We could save her from damnation and hell. Her whole life is destroyed. She's in a mental institution. Ten guys broke her. And we are just believing God for someone —
Philip:maybe a businessman or woman watching — that you could be the person to say, we'll take care of the rest of the buildings. But every mom and every grandma could say, listen, I'll give a dollar a day. I can be a part of that. And you can send a gift to Orphan's Hands, PO Box 25,
Philip:Clinton, Tennessee 37716. You can also go online at www.dailyfaith.tv and there's a giving page. You can go right there and be a part of that. You can also dial 833-DAILY-FAITH —
Philip:just spell out Daily Faith on your phone and a real life person will pick up the phone and talk to you about being part of a miracle. Maybe you've got a daughter or a granddaughter that's breaking your heart and you're saying, God, save my family.
Philip:Why don't you allow us to save someone else that's lost without any hope? I can't even describe what I know happened to this girl — that's how bad it is. And we are desperate to get this finished
Philip:and paid for so we can open it and take in 50 more kids saved from hell. And let the Lord speak to your heart, if you would. I'm delighted to have with me today a dear friend, a great man. He and his wife Jill are amazing people
Philip:and they've been part of our work in Moldova for many, many years. And something happened to him this year that I have laughed about and prayed about, because it's just one of those God things that you think — Robbie, I am so glad to have you on Daily Faith today.
Philip:Welcome. God bless you. How are you doing?
Robbie Mathis:Hey, good morning, Philip. I'm doing great. It is such an honor to be with you. So thankful for you and the partnership that we have, and just the work God's doing in Moldova through you.
Robbie Mathis:It's just a blessing and I'm so proud of you and thankful for all the years that you've been faithful. And God has truly been faithful and blessed you with it to rescue those girls from horrific lifestyles.
Robbie Mathis:And I'm just so thankful to be here with you today.
Philip:It's fabulous what God is doing. And this is my 35th year of being in Moldova and Romania and Ukraine. We — I rarely mention this — we have a home in Ukraine,
Philip:with a bunch of girls, and they listen to the missiles impacting in and around Odessa. It's terrible what's taking place there. I came to your church. I've always loved your church. It's a Holy Ghost church. I love the fact that you are unashamedly interested
Philip:in God speaking. And at the beginning of this last year, your wife Jill had a — you didn't realize it at the time — but it was a prophetic utterance. Tell us what on earth has happened to you, because someone's watching thinking, I'm stuck.

Jill Mathis Releases Prophetic Word

Philip:I've been doing this for years. There's nothing new in the world. I'm just gonna kind of go along. What happened to you this year?
Robbie Mathis:Yeah. Well, so let me start by saying, for many years, Philip, every time that someone would speak a word into my life, somebody would prophesy to me.
Robbie Mathis:They kept seeing and saying, you've got an apostolic anointing on your life, an apostolic anointing. And this has been for many years, and I'm thinking, well, we're not planting churches. I don't see that.
Robbie Mathis:But you know, God's always got a perfect time. And so our last service of the year, back in 2024, back in December, my wife got the microphone.
Robbie Mathis:And she felt like she had a word from God that she wanted to release and say. And she said, I felt like the Lord is saying for us to come into this new year expecting. And we know expecting means anticipation — to expect something, she said.
Robbie Mathis:But there's another definition, and it has to do with a woman that is pregnant. She will say, I'm expecting. There's something that's coming forth.

Twin Campuses Born Nine Months Later

Robbie Mathis:And what's so amazing is we did not realize the prophetic implications that God was releasing to her, because through a series of events, God just supernaturally opened up doors for us here just in the last month or so, where we just launched and opened two new campuses.
Robbie Mathis:And what's so amazing about it is, from that word that my wife Jill released at the end of the year, it's nine months later — nine months later — we opened these two campuses. And it's what Jill said. She said, God gave us twins. Twins.
Philip:So we literally gave birth to twins. Yeah. This is what blew my mind. I must confess I have laughed about this in joy — not laughing at you, but laughing with you — how ridiculous God can move. And you can be going along for years
Philip:and you have this promise inside you, and you've had these words about an apostolic ministry, and you're going along thinking, you know, these folk must have had cheese before they went to bed before they had this dream and vision. And then suddenly, literally within days of each other,
Philip:one door opens and you're thinking, well, wow, this is crazy. And you meet someone else and that births the second one.
Robbie Mathis:Within hours of each other, Philip — they literally were just within
Robbie Mathis:days of each other. I had two different places in my heart that we were looking to launch campuses at. And just honestly really praying for the Lord to open the doors, like, sure God, we feel like this is what we're supposed to do.

Dahlonega Campus Door Opens

Robbie Mathis:But you gotta make it happen. So on Friday, July the 11th this year, my wife Jill and I went up to a town called Dahlonega. It's in Georgia, about 35 to 40 minutes away from our main campus.
Robbie Mathis:It's a place that I felt like God wanted us to plant a campus and plant a church there. Jill and I went up on Friday to visit a facility. We left and we were like, wow, can you believe this? What an opportunity this could be. And so we were waiting on them to approve it
Robbie Mathis:and give us permission. They got our information. Well, that was on Friday. Three days later, Philip — on Monday, three days later — God sent me across the table from someone who was pastoring a church in the other town that we were looking to launch a campus,
Robbie Mathis:and that's in Ball Ground, Georgia. And that very afternoon, my wife Jill and I and the campus pastors — Tony and Shelly Morrow — went to meet him, sat down, prayed, and he gave us access to their facility to meet there on Friday nights. And so that was three days apart that God just, mind-blowing, laid these campuses in locations in our lap.

Ball Ground Campus Confirmed Days Apart

Robbie Mathis:And then five days later, after the Dahlonega trip on that Friday — five days later, that following Wednesday — they called me back and approved us for the one in Dahlonega. So within five days apart,
Robbie Mathis:we had everything finalized and set. It was such a God thing. It's not a lot where we're just having to purchase or long-term leases or we're getting in debt. God just gave us these opportunities that just blew our mind.
Robbie Mathis:So anytime that we begin to question, like, should we be doing this or not, we have to know this is such a God story and a God testimony. We can't doubt it.
Philip:Well, when I called you — you were on my mind, and I either texted you or called you, I forget what it was. And when you told me this, I thought, oh my goodness. And I've been praying ever since, and I had to get you on Daily Faith to talk about this,
Philip:because the Lord's been calling me to pray for you, that God would save you from discouragement and distraction. Thank you. Someone's watching me today and watching Daily Faith, and you are in a faith journey like Robbie —
Philip:he's been putting stuff in your spirit and it's impossible. And your mind is splitting it away and you're minimizing it and thinking it's not gonna happen. And God is about to do a quick work in your circumstance.
Philip:And hearing what's just taken place with my friend Robbie, you are thinking, oh my goodness, God can do something supernaturally. It took Noah decades — over a hundred years — to build a boat. But the moment the rain fell, it was a totally different situation.
Philip:And I'm gonna tell you, it's time to get your expectation levels up. I'm talking to a pastor right now,
Philip:and you're almost bored at what you're doing because it's just doing church on Sunday and Wednesday and you're going through this and you're thinking, there's got to be more than this. And I'm gonna tell you, it may not be a campus church — that may not be what your calling is.
Philip:But I'm here to tell you that Robbie has sat waiting for this moment, a prophecy from his wife in January. And all of this has taken place — up, running, functioning, and growing — because God's timing is perfect.
Philip:And I want you to know this: you're gonna trust God in your circumstance, allow him to guide you, and have faith — when it happens — to take that step and launch out and say, this is my moment.
Robbie Mathis:Yes, Philip, it is all about the time. Absolutely.

25 Years of Freedom Tabernacle

Robbie Mathis:Because here's the God thing about it. This coming December, we're celebrating our 25th anniversary of Freedom Tabernacle. Wow. And we're planning a big day of celebration
Robbie Mathis:because we're celebrating 25 years. But see, all of this happened 25 years later from the start. Why did it wait? Why did it take this long? You know, I was just questioning, did I wait too long?
Robbie Mathis:But the timing of God is perfect. And the campus pastors that we have in Ball Ground just this year moved and bought a new house over in the Ball Ground area. It's not originally where they wanted to be,
Robbie Mathis:but they felt peace about it. And one of their spiritual mothers said, there's something about this location that you've got — it's gonna have to do with something about where you're going to be with this church. And Philip, I want you to know the location of their campus,
Robbie Mathis:their church in Ball Ground, is seven minutes from the campus pastor's house. God orchestrated all that to line it up perfectly. And then here we are.

God Orchestrates Campus Pastors' Location

Robbie Mathis:And the connections we had — God had to work all of these things out for the timing of meeting people, orchestrating and putting it all together. And it is the timing. It's a season. Like I said, 25 years, here we are, and God allowed us to give birth to
Robbie Mathis:these two new campuses. And my wife Jill, she's like, who launches two new campuses at the same time? God. God did that.
Philip:I love you. I need to have Jill on Daily Faith. Never mind you. You need her. It seems that she's got more anointing and vision and prophetic anointing. I am just amazed. And I keep this stirring in my spirit — someone is watching you today and faith is arising in their spirit and they're saying, well, if he can do it,
Philip:God can do the same thing for me. And that expectation — a mother being expectant — whenever a girl finds out she's pregnant, she starts thinking, where's the baby gonna sleep? Where are the baby's diapers? Suddenly your whole focus changes when
Philip:that baby is on its way. And I'm here to tell you something. You need to start preparing for the baby to be delivered into your life. It might be a new church. I don't know what it is. I don't know what your baby is, but I believe that it's your moment
Philip:and God wants to come into your circumstance and blow your mind, because his ways are past finding out and his ways are not your ways, saith the Lord.
Robbie Mathis:Amen. Amen. Philip, I really believe we're in a season of acceleration.

Call to Pastoral Acceleration and Faith

Robbie Mathis:We know without a doubt that the enemy is rampant right now. He's not holding anything back. But the power and presence of God is greater than anything.
Robbie Mathis:And I'm telling you, yes, we're in the last days. It's a time of acceleration. So pastors, leaders, people of God that are watching — anything that you're believing God for, trust God. Know that his time is perfect and he's gonna accelerate it and cause those things to happen in your life,
Robbie Mathis:where you felt like it was not gonna happen.
Philip:We've got a minute and a half left. Robbie, I need you to pray a prayer to break us out of this doubt. It is your turn. The Lord wants you to know it's your turn. Pray for us.
Robbie Mathis:Amen. Amen. Father, we thank you, Lord, for this time and opportunity to pray. Father, I pray for all of those that are listening right now — for those that just seem like, Lord, that they're being complacent or content with things. But I just prophesy that, Lord Jesus, that contentment is gonna turn into holy discontent.

Prayer for Breakthrough and Open Doors

Robbie Mathis:And where they felt like that they were caged in, Jesus, and boxed in and just limited — that they were just gonna fulfill days with just the same thing — Lord, I ask for acceleration. Let grace be released upon them, that doors open that no man can shut.
Robbie Mathis:And God, let them step through all of the provisions, everything that you wanna do. I declare it open and done in Jesus' name. And let them know, God, that you are faithful and true. And I bless your people, Father, in Jesus' name.
Philip:In Jesus' name. Put up Robbie's address — get in contact with him. I believe a pastor can say, I need to talk to him some more and get on doing what God's called me to do. Robbie, thank you for being with me.
Philip:I love you so very much.
Robbie Mathis:We love you. Love you.
Philip:And tell all the folk at Freedom Tabernacle we love them. Thank you for watching Daily Faith today. It's your turn. Get up and get doing the King's business. Bye-bye for today.
For over 25 years, the Cameron family has been changing the lives of orphans in Romania and Moldova — from providing running water, flushing toilets, and clean wells, to coal for heat, new windows, as well as food and clothing. They championed the physical needs
of the orphans in these broken and desolate countries. Many of Moldova's orphans are saved from the horrors of trafficking through homes founded by the Camerons. And in the process, orphans become daughters and sons. They come to know their heavenly Father
and are forever changed by the love of Jesus. God help the Camerons lift these amazing young men and women out of darkness. Now no longer orphans, they want to return and invade that very same darkness with the light of Jesus Christ.
Orphan's Hands equips these daughters and sons to become missionaries. Your monthly gift of $31 will allow us to rescue and take in more girls and boys, saving them from the hell of human trafficking. Your monthly partnership will allow us to care

Common questions

What was the prophecy Robbie's wife Jill gave, and how did it come true?

At the last service of 2024, Jill took the microphone and said she felt God was calling the church to enter the new year 'expecting' — using the word in the sense of a woman who is pregnant and has something coming forth. Nine months later, Freedom Tabernacle launched two new campuses, and Jill said it was exactly like giving birth to twins.

How quickly did the two new campuses actually come together?

The doors opened within days of each other. On Friday, July 11th, Robbie and Jill visited a facility in Dahlonega, Georgia. Three days later, on Monday, God placed Robbie across the table from a pastor in Ball Ground, Georgia, who gave them access to his facility that same afternoon. Five days after the Dahlonega visit, that location was officially approved — so both campuses were finalized within about five days of each other.

Why did Robbie think the timing of all this was significant for Freedom Tabernacle?

Robbie pointed out that Freedom Tabernacle is celebrating its 25th anniversary this December, meaning the two campuses were born exactly 25 years after the church started. He admitted he had questioned whether he'd waited too long, but concluded that God's timing was simply perfect.

What had prophetic words over Robbie's life said for years before this happened?

For many years, multiple people had prophesied that Robbie carried an apostolic anointing on his life. At the time it confused him because Freedom Tabernacle wasn't planting churches, and he couldn't see how it applied — but the launch of the two campuses is what he now believes those words were pointing to all along.

What does Robbie say is the key takeaway for pastors or leaders who feel stuck or like nothing is changing?

Robbie says we are in a season of acceleration and that God's timing is perfect — even when it feels like a promise will never arrive. He encourages leaders not to give up, because the same things they've been believing God for can still happen, and when God moves, he can make it happen fast.
