In my years of serving the Lord, I've learned one thing above everything else. That my faith, the miracles doesn't depend on my faith so much. It's my actions, moving towards it. Jesus is in the temple and a man with a withered hand came in. And Jesus said to the man, stretch forth your hand. Every miracle has two parts to play. There's the divine that only God can do. And then there's the natural part that only you and I can do. He said to the man that was brought in through the roof in the house and he said, take up your bed and walk. So God is looking for you in your circumstance, not just to sit and think, well, oh, God's going to do a miracle. He wants you to be involved in your faith and action. Not just the Bible says faith that works as dead being alone. Something happens when you stand up and begin to move towards your circumstance. Remember the leprous man? And they said, if we sit here, we perish. If we go to the city, we're going to starve to death. Let's walk towards the enemy's camp and see what happens when we walk towards the enemy's camp. And when they did that, God amplified their footsteps. And the enemy heard them as an army and they fought amongst themselves and they ran away. And the spoils of the enemy was given to the leprous man that had got up in the nighttime. Never a good time to get up in the night. Always a reason not to go. Always a reason to stay down. Stay in your bed. You're fine. It's okay. Just accept your circumstance. No, we're going to stand up and we're going to walk towards it because God's miracles happen in two places. One in the eternal. The miracle's His responsibility. The standing up is my responsibility. The stretching my hand out is my responsibility. Getting out of the boat, that's my responsibility.
