You may be a MESS, but YOU are God's MESS!

I've got a younger sister called Louise and when she was a wee baby, she escaped from the kitchen one day out to the backyard and she found a mud puddle. Well, I'm telling you something, she was like a duck in that mud puddle. She was covered like she was dipped in chocolate from head to toe. And after a wee while, she decided to come back inside. We hadn't missed her. You know, they kind of fall through the cracks. And she came to the door covered and my dad went to the back door and says, look at the mess you're in. Look at you. You're all muddy. And he was playing with her, but he was pretending to be annoyed. And she didn't even pay attention to her. She walked past him as if to say, hey, I might be a mess, but I'm your mess. And I've got news for you. You might be covered in mess today, but you are God's mess. Don't allow other people to determine and put on you the guilt of the past. It's forgotten. Jesus loves you. You belong to the Father. And what he's going to do is he's going to get you out of the mud puddle and he's going to clean you up like he did with the prodigal son and put a robe of righteousness on you.
