God is in control! Trust Him!

He is the master of the waves. No matter how bad the waves are in your life, the storm that you're in right this minute. Years ago, I took my kids to Niagara Falls, and there's a boat called the Maid of the Mist. And you can go on there for a few dollars, and you get this, well, the one when I was there, maybe changed color now, a blue poncho, a rain thing that covered you up, because where you were going, you're going to need it. And we all got in there, and it had a lovely sunny day, and we were wearing, the kids were in shorts, I was in shorts, the shorts thing, it was a hot day. And we got on this boat, and the man began to chug towards the base of the falls, Niagara Falls in Canada. And pretty soon, we were getting closer, and the boat began to rock to and fro, and pretty soon, he put the nose of the boat right into the surge of this torrent of water coming off of Niagara Falls. You would have thought you were in the worst monsoon and hurricane that you'd ever seen in your life. The boat was going back and forth. We were soaked water over the top of us, and the kids were holding on to me like it was the end of the world. And it wasn't. It was manufactured, because the captain up in the wheelhouse just put the boat in reverse, and we backed out from the base of the water. And in a few moments, everything was back to calm, and the sun was shining, and it was a warm day, and we were wet and thrilled with what we'd experienced. Let me tell you something. The storm you're in right now is manufactured. The devil wants to... Job said what he feared came upon him. And what the devil wants to do is to cause fear in your heart about your circumstance and cause you to wonder and doubt if you're going to be able to get through this storm you're in right now. I'm here to tell you something. The devil can make a noise. He can roar like a lion, but he can't lay his finger on you. You are protected by the blood of Jesus. You are under the shadow of his wing. No weapon formed against you will ever prosper. And if you understand that, you'll be like on the maid of the mist. I might be in a storm right now, but we've got a captain of this boat and this vessel that's going to back us out of the storm, and the sun will shine again. You are not done. You are not finished. It is not over. Because God is in control in your world. He has you, the Bible says, written in the palm of his hands. And nothing will separate you from his love. So I love you. God loves you. And your storm is going to pass because he's going to back the maid of the mist out of your trouble, and the sun will shine. If you believe it, it's going to change your world. Amen.
