A Life of Worship: Jeff Ferguson on Music, Ministry, and the Power of a Song
About this episode
Jeff Ferguson — evangelist, musician, and founder of The Vow Ministries in DeLand, Florida — joins Philip Cameron for a powerful conversation about the resurrection of God-given callings and the irrevocable nature of spiritual gifts. Drawing on 2 Timothy 1 and Paul's charge to "stir up the gift within you," Jeff delivers a timely word for anyone who believes their season of ministry has passed.
Jeff leads nine ministries out of a historic 100-year-old building in downtown DeLand, including Tabitha's Ministry — a widows' outreach modeled on the New Testament disciple Dorcas — which features Tabitha's Table (monthly worship services at Calvary Orlando), Tabitha's Tea Party (twice-yearly celebration dinners), and Tabitha's Toolbox, a no-charge handyman and home-repair service for women in need. He also cares for approximately 350 seniors across Central Florida through The Vow.
The heart of this episode is Jeff's declaration that "the gifts and callings of God are without repentance" — meaning they are irrevocable, and God will not change His mind about your assignment. Whether you've failed, aged out, or simply gone quiet, Jeff insists God is uncovering those wells again. He shares a remarkable story of cleaning church toilets during an eight-week revival that broke out after he was unexpectedly asked to preach. Discover more at jeffferguson.com.
“The resurrection power that raised Christ from the dead — the Bible says, if the same spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwell in you, it's going to quicken your mortal body. That resurrection power didn't stop on resurrection morning 2,000 years ago. That resurrection power is alive and well and active now.”
“The gifts and callings of God are without repentance. That means two things. Number one, they are irrevocable. Even if you fail, even if you fall, God is a God of restoration, and my favorite definition of the word restoration is the establishment of something new that is greater than what was before.”
“This cross that we're celebrating tomorrow — this cross, the ground beneath it is level. We all have to come to the foot of the cross. The worst of us and the best of us are equally in need of being redeemed and in need of the grace and mercy of God that qualifies us for the call. It's the cross that qualifies you.”
What's Discussed
Evangelist and musician Jeff Ferguson of The Vow Ministries in DeLand, Florida, shares a resurrection-season message about the irrevocability of God-given callings. Anchored in Paul's exhortation to Timothy to "stir up the gift" (2 Timothy 1:6) and the declaration that "the gifts and callings of God are without repentance" (Romans 11:29), Jeff argues that failure, age, and obscurity do not disqualify believers. He describes his nine-ministry operation, including Tabitha's Ministry — a widows' outreach with worship services, celebration dinners, and a free handyman service (Tabitha's Toolbox) — based at Calvary Orlando. He recounts cleaning church toilets during an eight-week revival he was unexpectedly called to preach, illustrating that unseen service is foundational to kingdom impact.

Intro
Philip:Hey, welcome to Daily Faith Today. My name is Philip Cameron, and boy, do we have a great show. One of the most unusual and anointed ministries in America is on the program today, and I just can't wait to let you just feel the power of God made manifest in this man's life.
Philip:I started watching — my sister lives in Romania, and she called me one day. She said, "Do you know this guy called Jeff Ferguson?" I says, "I watch him all the time." She says, "Well, I'm addicted to his program. He does this thing at midday. He never starts on time. It always goes longer than he tells you." But she says, "Philip, it's..." I said, "I'm watching him every day." And that began a friendship, and he is helping me right now write a brand-new book that I think you'll be blessed by.
Philip:And he lives in DeLand, Florida, and we're going to have a tremendous time. He's got a rhema from the Lord for you today. And as we are in this very incredible season of the resurrection of Jesus, as we're recording this, we just want you to be a part of the resurrection.
Philip:Let me tell you, the resurrection power that raised Christ from the dead — the Bible says, if the same spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwell in you, it's going to quicken your mortal body. That resurrection power didn't stop on resurrection morning 2,000 years ago. That resurrection power is alive and well and active now. And I prophesy over you today in the name of Jesus that you are going to see a resurrection in your life, a resurrection of your dreams, a resurrection of your hopes, a resurrection of relationships, a resurrection of finances, because God has the power to resurrect your situation.
Philip:So I want you to know this, that God is working and moving on your behalf, and the best is yet to come. Believe Him for it, because I think that God's got a plan, and the fact that you're sitting watching us today is, I believe, the reason for you to be here today, because He's got a word for you. It's so important. Share the broadcast if you would. There's a wee bell on your screen. Hit that, and every time Daily Faith is on the air, we're here because we want just to be a support in your faith walk.
Philip:We want to affirm your faith every day, that as you get up in the morning, you can tune into Daily Faith when you can, and have someone speak life and hope and purpose into your life. There's nothing wrong with you that a good dose of the Holy Ghost wouldn't cure. All you have to do is have a glimpse of Jesus, and everything makes sense again. And what the devil wants to do is to tear you down and burden you with stuff. And by doing so, he takes away the vision and the purpose of your life.
Philip:Well, we're going to speak resurrection into your heart today, and I can't wait for you to meet my friend Jeff Ferguson. I'm delighted you're with us. Welcome to Daily Faith.
Philip:Welcome to Daily Faith. My name is Philip Cameron, and I am absolutely delighted to have you with me. God works in mysterious ways, His wonders to perform. God is the great engineer. Do you understand that this universe is spinning, traveling at hundreds of millions of miles? I mean, it's insane. If you can understand the universe, that God holds everything up by the word of His power — that's what the Bible says. He upholds everything by the word of His power. And if He can keep this universe going, He can keep you going, too. So don't you despair, and I believe that God has had you tune into our program today because there's a rhema word on its way to your spirit, to lift you up above the shadows and the doubts.
Philip:These weights, the Bible says, that so easily beset us, and He wants to lift you up above your circumstance. The devil has not got the final say in your life. This is Holy Week. Thursday, Jesus, this morning, sent his disciples to prepare the upper room. He was getting ready to go and have the Last Supper with his disciples. You imagine the pressure he was on. He would end this evening in Gethsemane, and yet he did it for you. And that same God that raised him from the dead, I speak prophetically into your life, is going to raise you from your circumstance, because God is on your side. And if God be for you, who can be against you?
Philip:I am just so excited. We have got Jeff Ferguson. Listen, this is a crazy man of God. He does some amazing things that I'm going to be talking to you about, and I want you to start watching. He does a podcast every day, and it is 12 minutes at 12. It never starts at 12, and it never lasts 12 minutes. But I'll tell you what, it is the best fun you've ever seen in your life. And his dear friend and ministry partner is Reba Rambo, no less, of the world-famous Rambos.
Philip:I grew up listening to them. I would sit in Scotland in my wee little apartment that my wife and I — we just got married, we were married 50 years ago. And I bought every Rambo record. I looked in stores, and we'd take them home to Scotland and let all my friends hear them in Scotland, my cousins, and I would say, "Listen to this, listen to this." And when I moved back to America permanently, I took all their albums with me, and we found them just recently in a box. It's amazing.
Philip:So Jeff Ferguson is with us today, and I'm telling you now, call someone that you know needs an uplift in their spirit, because God's going to speak into your hearts today. We have a mission work in Moldova, where our young folk, we rescue girls from trafficking. When a girl turns 16 in an orphanage in that country, they put them on the streets. Traffickers offer them false jobs and then use them 30 to 50 times a day. One girl, one girl can earn a trafficker $300,000 a year.
Philip:Thirty-five years ago, my dad made me go to Romania. He watched some stuff on the TV and says, "You've got to go." And I said, "I'm not interested. This is not what I do. I'm preaching on nationwide TV and writing books on household salvation." And he made me go. And one day in this orphanage, I found an orphan called Andrei, and I picked him up. The Holy Spirit said, "That's your son." And I picked him out of his crib, filthy, covered in his own waste. And I said, "I don't know how this is going to happen, but I'm not going to quit until I adopt you."
Philip:And it took me a year, and in the year that it took me to adopt him, I fixed the roof. They had no toilets, I put in toilets. All the beds were metal with horsehair mattresses, no sheets, no pillows, nothing. I made new beds for them. And by the time we adopted Andrei and took him away from that place forever, God had broken my heart and our whole family became committed and addicted to caring for the orphan.
Philip:That was 35 years ago. Most recently, in the last 25 years, we've been in a country called Moldova. Dad sent me there, too. And we rescue these kids, and we have an amazing place called Vatra Village. It's a village of homes that was originally planned and was built for rich people to have a summer dacha on the lake, the largest lake in Moldova. And they poisoned that lake with chlorine to kill algae, and no one wanted to buy a house next to the lake. And we bought it, and we've changed this place into a haven of hope.
Philip:And these girls — every girl you see, $300,000 for a trafficker — and they come to us broken with no hope. And God has transformed their lives, and they come as orphans, and they become sons and daughters, and then they become missionaries. And it's just the most amazing thing I've ever seen in my life. They have a video camera over there. They make these videos. They do the voiceovers. They make the stories. Everything you see is exactly how I get it from these former orphans in Moldova.
Philip:And a new girl came not long ago. Her name is Alexandra. And here's her testimony, and this is what Orphan's Hands does for kids without any hope. Watch this.
My father has been an alcoholic for as long as I can remember. He always came home drunk. Every night, my sister and I would hear shouting. We would close our eyes, hoping that maybe tomorrow would be different. But it never was.
My name is Alexandra, and I am 17 years old, and today I live at Vatra Village. When I was nine, my mother decided to leave the country in search of a better life. But when she came back, she had nothing. The woman she worked for had lied to her and left her empty-handed. That was the moment my mother broke. For months, she barely moved, just lay in bed crying, lost in a darkness I couldn't understand. The only person who took care of me and my mother was my grandmother. She was our only light in those days.
One of the hardest moments I remember is when she tried to leave us for another man. I held onto her sobbing, begging for her to stay. But she still walked away. That night, my father came home drunk, as always, and I felt more alone and abandoned than ever before.
Now, my mother is in the hospital, consumed by her depression. She won't answer the phone. It feels like she's slipping away. My older sister and I never talk about our family when we see each other. It's too painful. Some wounds run too deep.
But I made a promise to myself. I will not let my past define me. My future will not be like my parents'. I dream of an education, of a loving family, of a home filled with warmth and laughter. And until that day comes, I am grateful that my home is Vatra Village. Here, I have found something I never thought I would — family.
Here, I am not invisible. I am not alone. Thank you for giving me the love and support I never had in my own family.
Philip:Alexandra could be sitting right now, caught with a trafficker, being used 30 to 50 times a day, worth $300,000 to him. And what we've done — all you've seen, all these homes, all the outreaches we do — has been made possible by someone just like you giving a dollar a day. You can change a life for a dollar a day. You can absolutely revolutionize a girl's life like Alexandra.
Philip:Oh, I love to watch them laugh, because I know that up until the time they come to us, all they have is tears. A drunken father that beat them mercilessly, a mom that quit because there was no point. She went to work for a woman who lied and came home with no money and broke her spirit. But you could be God's hand extended. Talk about resurrection. You could help us resurrect kids from despair and hopelessness, from the hand of a trafficker into someone that knows Jesus.
Philip:And these kids, each of the houses at Vatra Village adopt another village, and they go and they find every widow, every broken family, everything that's wrong, and they spend a year fixing it. They share the gospel. We've got youth camps all through the year. And by doing so, they transform a village from hopelessness into trusting God. And I just need you to help us. We've got more to do, much more to do. We've got further to reach, and we're asking for you to be a part every time we open a new home.
Philip:And let me say this, we've just signed the contract for two new houses. All the kids at Vatra Village are 16 and above. We've just bought two new homes and an amazing piece of land with an orchard and a barn that we're going to turn into a youth camp. These two homes are going to be used to keep and care for children between the age of four and 16. Little kids that live in the hellish conditions of an orphanage. And as you see, one of the houses is almost finished and one isn't. And we need you to help us today. A one-time gift of any amount.
Philip:Just write on your check or your letter, just say, "Philip, this is for the new houses," and we'll know exactly where to put it. We'll have 50 little kids in these homes that will never know drunkenness, never know abuse, will be taught and raised to hear the gospel. And then when they're 16, they'll go to Vatra Village and onto school and university. Your gift today can transform someone's life.
Philip:Don't you want to do something big and magnificent for the kingdom of God? It's time to reach beyond the world you live in, into someone else's world. Because when you cast your bread upon the water, that's when it returns. There's no return until it's given away. There's no multiplication of the seed until the seed is planted. And you can make a miracle happen in the life of one of these young girls.
Philip:Our address is really simple. Orphan's Hands, P.O. Box 25, Clinton, Tennessee 37716. You can also go to dailyfaith.tv. There's a giving page right there. And also, you can go with an 800 number, 833-DAILYFAITH. A real live person will talk to you. Invest in the kingdom of God, and when you do, it'll come back to you, pressed down, shaken together, running over in this life. We need you to help us. We appreciate your help so much.
Philip:I am excited beyond words to let you meet again a friend of mine that I'm getting to love more and appreciate more as we know each other. We're working together right now. He's helping me write a brand new book called "Moments." It's a great book. You are the moments of your life. And, Jeff, thank you for joining us today. I know you had to rush over from Tabitha's Ministry that you conduct. Give my viewers a wee synopsis of who you are and what God's called you to do.
The Vow Ministries and Senior Care
Jeff Ferguson:Oh, my goodness. First of all, Brother Philip, I love being here with you. I'm so excited to be with you. I'm in my home in our broadcasting studios here in DeLand, Florida. Beautiful, historic downtown DeLand. We're in a 100-year-old building, and nine of our ministries are based here. These are our offices. Behind me are our offices. And we have The Vow, which is Voices of Wisdom, and that's our nonprofit, that's our 501(c)(3).
Jeff Ferguson:We care for about 350 in Central Florida, about 350 beautiful people of God, 50 and over, hospital care, help. We have a monthly service that's this Saturday. People come from all over, sometimes from all over the world, but definitely all over Florida. They come, and we have an amazing service. Our ministry provides a gourmet complimentary breakfast at 9, and then at 10, we have a mighty move of the spirit and a powerful word in worship, praise in worship, prophetic flow, the gifts, a ministry. It's just wonderful, and that's at Calvary Assemblies of God, Calvary Orlando, the great big church on I-4.
Tabitha's Ministry for Widows Explained
Jeff Ferguson:And then Tabitha's Ministry is a powerful... We just had it. A powerful ministry that helps widows. What you do, Brother Philip, is so amazing. It's so amazing. Scripture says pure and undefiled religion is taking care of the orphans and taking care of the widows. And that's what you and I do. It's so important. I love your ministry. It is pure and undefiled, and I love ministering to the widows. It's pure and undefiled.
Jeff Ferguson:We had a mighty move of God in the service we just had. Incredible. And that's also based at Calvary Orlando. The third Wednesday of every month we have Tabitha's Table, which is a praise and worship flow in the spirit, a word in worship service.
Philip:You also have a ministry that does repairs for folks' houses that can't —
Jeff Ferguson:Tabitha's Ministry, which is our widows ministry — Tabitha was the lady in the Bible, the only woman who was called a disciple of Jesus Christ. And she had an incredible widows ministry in the Book of Acts in the early church. And when she died, she really helped widows because widows, women could not own property. They could not be educated. And so when they could not receive an inheritance, it had to go to a man. So when a widow, when her husband died, that's why often they would marry the husband's brother, so that they could be taken care of. Sure. But many didn't have that option, and so many were basically homeless and so poor. So that's why it's important to take care of orphans and widows.
Jeff Ferguson:So we take care of the widows. We have three legs. Oh, when Tabitha died, the widows in the Book of Acts mourned so desperately that Peter raised Tabitha from the dead. My goodness. Glory to God. And so Tabitha is a special, special lady. Same lady as Dorcas in the Bible.
Jeff Ferguson:But we have three legs. We have Tabitha's Table, which we just had, a monthly service. Also, we are now in Oklahoma. We're believing to start chapters everywhere, and it's under the covering of our ministry, The Vow. And Tabitha's — we have three legs. Tabitha's Table, which we just had. Tabitha's Tea Party, which is twice a year we do it. We spoil them like crazy. White tablecloth dinner, swag bags full of gifts, and just spoil them twice a year, one time at Christmas. And then we have Tabitha's Toolbox, which is a no-charge handyman service and small home repair for women in need, widows in need.
Philip:Well, my mum is 97 years of age in Scotland. I talked to her a couple weeks ago, and she needs help all the time, the stuff that she can't do anymore.
Tabitha's Toolbox Free Handyman Service
Philip:I want you to talk and minister to let folk feel the power of your ministry. JeffFerguson.com, is that your website? I want you to go to JeffFerguson.com and look at what this man is doing. He is the real deal, and I want you to be a part. He does this 12 Minutes to 12. You've got to watch this on Facebook and other platforms. It will absolutely blow your mind what he gets up to. It's a trip just to watch him, and I love watching you on 12 Minutes to 12. What's the Lord talking today? Today is Thursday, when we're recording this.
Jeff Ferguson:The day before Good Friday. And I believe that God wants to give resurrections, to resurrect people's ministry. He's done the same for you in your life and your ministry many, many times.
Philip:Oh, I have started over again more than once. And I thought, "How could I go on? How could I continue?" And God has picked me up and blessed me and helped me. Thank you so much.
Jeff Ferguson:And you know what I really feel, that we are about to see in this nation and in this world is the greatest outpouring of the spirit of God that we have ever seen, that we have ever known. And for some reason, Brother Philip, God has kept us. God has sustained us. And scripture says that it is the Lord who sanctifies us. He has sanctioned us, he has separated us and kept us for a reason and for a purpose.
Greatest Coming Outpouring of the Spirit
Jeff Ferguson:I would probably say that you probably ought to be dead. I probably ought to be dead, for all that I have walked through. But God has kept us and preserved us, and like Esther, brought us into the kingdom for such a time as this. And some of your viewers, they may be young, or there may be many that are older, and they think that their time has passed them by. They think that they no longer have something to offer, that they missed their opportunity.
Gifts and Callings Are Irrevocable
Jeff Ferguson:But I want to tell them right now that the gifts and callings of God are without repentance. That means two things. Number one, they are irrevocable. Even if you fail, even if you fall, God is a God of restoration, and my favorite definition of the word restoration is the establishment of something new that is greater than what was before. "Behold, I do a new thing. Shall it not spring forth?" God never stops giving us new things, new opportunities, new beginnings, breathing new life into old gifts and old callings and old appointments.
Jeff Ferguson:And I'm telling you right now that there are so many that God has kept, and through the years, not only are the gifts and callings of God without repentance — that means that they're irrevocable — number two, it means God will not repent for calling us. He will not change his mind. He has not changed his mind. And I want to encourage somebody today that God is going to — and you're going to have to help him do this. There's your part and God's part. God is going to uncover those wells.
God Restoring Uncovered Wells
Jeff Ferguson:And Paul told Timothy, his spiritual son, he said, "Stir up the gift within you that you received with a laying on of hands." Well, that was the appointment. That was the assignment. That was the ordination of God into ministry and into the call of his life. We all have a call. We all have a ministry that God has called us to. There is not one believer who does not have a call upon their life. You're chosen when you respond and say yes. When you respond and say yes, and there are some who thought their calling was over, but let me tell you, God needs to hear you say yes again. He's uncovering those wells.
Jeff Ferguson:But Paul could not, to Timothy, he could not say, "I'm going to stir up those gifts for you." Those were the gifts that he received when he was ordained into the ministry. Paul said, "I can't stir it up for you. I wish I could." I'm paraphrasing, but he said, "Son, you are going to have to stir up." To stoke those dying embers, to fan them into flame, so those dying embers are on fire again. So, Brother Philip, it's our responsibility to stir up these gifts, and God is going to do that to accommodate the great harvest and the moving of the spirit that we're about to see.
Philip:As you're talking just now, the Holy Ghost is telling me that someone's watching right now, and you failed in ministry, and you're thinking, "Well, it's over for me." Listen to me. Peter — in a few hours, we're living in Holy Week right now — in a few hours' time, Peter denies Jesus. He curses him. He runs. He does everything. He fails miserably. At the point of need, Peter fails. And when Jesus reassembles his disciples after he comes back from the dead, what does he say? "Bring Peter. Make sure Peter comes."
Peter's Failure and God's Restoration
Philip:And God wants you to know that Jesus is sending for you. He's calling your name today, and he's saying all your failures, all your past downsittings, all the stuff you've done — Moses killed people, ran away 40 years in the desert, and yet God says, "I'm not done with you yet. I'm going to use you to deliver my people." And God wants you to know that you are not through, that there is a resurrection coming into your life.
Jeff Ferguson:So many people feel, "Well, I'm too old. I'm too young. I'm not educated. How can I do anything for the Lord?" God specializes, Brother Philip, in using people that nobody would pick. The broken vessel. In 1 Corinthians 12, scripture says when Paul is comparing the body of Christ, which is made up of the believers that follow him, Paul compares it to a human body.
Cleaning Toilets and the Eight-Week Revival
Jeff Ferguson:And he said that the uncomely parts, God has given such a special thing to. The uncomely parts, the parts that nobody sees, God gives special designation. He gives special respect to the people, and honor to the people that nobody sees. People compliment me on my hair because I got a head full of hair at 58 years old. People compliment me on my eyes because I'm dark, but I've got light eyes. But nobody has ever complimented my liver. I never think about my liver. My liver never gets a compliment, but I can't live without my liver.
Jeff Ferguson:I have blind friends. They can live without their eyes. I've got bald friends. They can live without their hair. But nobody can live without a liver. And you might be that one who cleans the toilets at the church, and you think, "I don't have..." That is a great ministry, because that church that you go to, they've probably had several pastors over the years. But if the one that cleans the toilets stops, and they no longer clean the toilets, what's going to happen after about three months? No one's going to invite anybody or go. It's going to be too awful. And in about six months, the church will close down.
Jeff Ferguson:I was at a revival. I was special music at a revival, Brother Philip, many years ago, in the early 2000s, and it was their big dedication of their big new building. They had a great evangelist that everybody knew, and several hundred came to hear this great evangelist. And on Saturday night — it was one weekend of ministry — the pastor got up and he said, "God spoke to me not to have our guest evangelist preach tomorrow, but to have our guest musician, Jeff Ferguson, preach." And everybody went, "Oh."
Jeff Ferguson:And I want to tell you, I preached that next morning, and an eight-week revival broke out. And it felt like the whole town got saved, and I preached every night. But on that first week of that revival, the Lord told me to go to the church in the daytime and clean the toilets, and I obeyed Him, and I cleaned the toilets, all the toilets in that big revival. And the Holy Ghost fell on me, and He showed me how important it was for the ones who clean the toilets.
Jeff Ferguson:Now, you may not be the pastor, you may be the gofer — gofer this and gofer that. But I'm telling you, you're needed. You are important in the kingdom of God. God is resurrecting that call in your life that you thought you'd aged out of, or you thought you're no longer worthy of it, or you've failed somehow, that would cause your ministry to no longer be of effect.
Jeff Ferguson:But let me tell you, this cross that we're celebrating tomorrow — this cross, the ground beneath it is level. We all have to come to the foot of the cross. The worst of us and the best of us are equally in need of being redeemed and in need of the grace and mercy of God that qualifies us for the call. It's the cross that qualifies you.
Philip:And if you're watching us today — we're out of time, we've got 40 seconds left in this program, I've taken the back end off the show just to give us more time — listen to me. The resurrection, the cross levels everything for you. Drag yourself to the foot of the cross, and I promise you, resurrection life will come. Jeff Ferguson Ministries. He is in DeLand, Florida. You've got to look him up. His website is so simple, www.jeffferguson.com. Jeff Ferguson. I want you to get in contact with this ministry and partner with him, and be a part of the miracle that's taking place in his life. Thank you, Jeff, for being with us today, man. You bless my heart every time I talk to you.
Jeff Ferguson:My brother, I love your ministry, and I love you. Thank you.
Philip:Listen, thank you for watching Daily Faith. We'll see you again. Bye-bye.
Common questions
What is Jeff Ferguson's '12 Minutes to 12' show?
It's a daily podcast Jeff does at noon — though, as Philip jokes, it never actually starts at 12 and it never stays at 12 minutes. It airs on Facebook and other platforms and is known for its lively, Spirit-led style.
What is Tabitha's Ministry and who does it serve?
Tabitha's Ministry is Jeff's widows ministry, named after the woman in Acts who is the only female called a disciple of Jesus Christ. It has three parts: Tabitha's Table (a monthly praise-and-worship service), Tabitha's Tea Party (a twice-yearly event where widows are spoiled with white-tablecloth dinners and gift bags), and Tabitha's Toolbox (a no-charge handyman and small home-repair service for widows in need).
What does Jeff Ferguson say about people who feel their calling in ministry is over?
Jeff says the gifts and callings of God are 'without repentance,' meaning they are irrevocable — God will not change His mind about calling you, even if you've failed or feel too old or too young. He urges people to 'stir up' those gifts themselves, comparing it to stoking dying embers back into flame, because God is uncovering those wells for the coming harvest.
What is The Vow, and how many people does Jeff's ministry serve?
The Vow — Voices of Wisdom — is Jeff's 501(c)(3) nonprofit, based in a 100-year-old building in historic downtown DeLand, Florida, where nine of his ministries operate. It cares for roughly 350 people aged 50 and over in Central Florida, providing hospital care, assistance, and a monthly service held at Calvary Orlando.
What happened when Jeff cleaned the church toilets during a revival, and why does he bring it up?
During an early-2000s revival where an eight-week outpouring broke out after Jeff unexpectedly preached, God told him to go clean all the toilets in the church during the daytime — and he obeyed. The Holy Ghost fell on him while he did it, and he uses the story to illustrate that seemingly invisible roles, like cleaning toilets, are vital to the body of Christ: without them, a church can literally shut down.
