Philip:Hey, welcome to the Daily Faith Today. My name is Philip Cameron, and I am absolutely delighted to have you with us. We got a great program coming up. There's a rhema word gonna come into your spirit today. God is gonna deliver into your spirit something that you're searching for.
Philip:Whenever you seek, whenever you search, what happens is you excite the Spirit of God to begin to send information and ministry and help and hope into your life. In this room right now, there are video signals and radio signals, millions of them, phone signals, airplanes, police, all in this room right now, and I can't hear one of them 'cause I don't have the receptor, the thing that will receive that. And that's why when you open up toward... The old hymn, "I've opened up toward Heaven all the windows of my soul, and I'm living on the Hallelujah side."
Philip:What you gotta do, like tuning that satellite dish — here there's nothing, here there's nothing, but you get it tuned into the satellite 22,000 miles away up in space, and suddenly a clear picture comes in. What you need to do today is to open up your receptors, the things that receive from Heaven, and God's gonna send you a rhema word. My dear friend, Dr. Jerry Grillo, is with us. Bishop Grillo is one of the great men of God in my life, and he's got a rhema for you today. Don't go anywhere.
Philip:Before we get to Jerry, I wanna talk to you about the marvelous things that's taking place in our mission work in Moldova. 37 years ago, I adopted a boy in Romania, having no idea that that was the opening point, the portal into a brand-new ministry and a lifetime commitment for my whole family, and that's to rescue those that have been abandoned and left in orphanages or in horrendous situations. And they are the fodder by which the trafficking industry works, the sex trafficking and the labor trafficking. And we have an amazing place called Vatra Village. It's a whole village of homes on the largest lake in Moldova.
Philip:Moldova is the poorest country, the highest population of alcoholism per population in the world. And these kids are sold by traffickers. One girl that you're looking at right now will earn traffickers 300,000 dollars a year. And they come to us, they hear the Gospel, and they become missionaries. Orphans become sons and daughters. Sons and daughters become missionaries. And they just sent us a video the other day that absolutely thrills my heart, because it is the essence of what we do.
Philip:Most mission works just are feeding and caring, and that's so important. But what can happen if we turn them into missionaries, so that an orphan can go into an orphanage and say, "I used to be like you, but Jesus has changed my life"? And that's what these kids do non-stop. Apart from going to school and all the other things they do, God uses them to share the Gospel. Watch this video. It'll bless you.

Philip:And that is Vlad, one of our houseparents, with the kids, just delivering love and kindness. What we do is, we have containers that come from America, ship them to Moldova, and those supplies that we send is the key that opens the door to people's hearts, and they go and visit the brokenhearted. Each of the homes in our village sponsors a village in the country, and for one year, they find out every widow in the place. They find out the broken families. And for one year, they concentrate in that village, and they sow gardens for the widows in the spring. They bring them wood for the wintertime. They care for families. They give kids school supplies. So they get involved, and then they connect with a church, an evangelical church, so that all these folk that they win for Jesus ends up in church.
Philip:It's an amazing thing that's happening, and we need you to be a part of this miracle. We are just about to open 2 new homes for small kids between the age of 4 and 16, and each of those houses need 300 people giving one dollar a day. And I'm asking you today if you could pray about helping us help someone else. When you cast a seed, when you throw your bread upon the water, the one thing that is sure about that bread, it's coming back to you. It's gonna come back multiplied to you.
Philip:And maybe you've got an unsaved loved one in your family, a son or a daughter, a grandchild that's breaking your heart today, and you've been praying about it. Today, say, "God, somehow bring my family home." Church as Event Center vs. Kingdom Government
Dr. Jerry Grillo:Thank you, Philip. Thank you. Every time I come on here, I feel the Word of God.
Philip:And I hear an echo. Is that me? No, you're sounding great. Oh, you're good. You're good.
Dr. Jerry Grillo:Philip, every time I hear you, my heart just explodes. I'm just so thankful that God has connected you with me and your family. Amen. And I thank God that you've come through this surgery, that we have many more years of you preaching the mighty Word of God.
Philip:Absolutely. Absolutely.
Dr. Jerry Grillo:I'm thrilled to be on Daily Faith. I just got back from Arkansas. I've been preaching and, you know, when you travel and you're in another man's church, you really move apostolically. It always seems like I move in there apostolically. And the thing that's really been on my spirit is that we have catered to building the event center called a church. And in the process, we have washed out the dunamis power of the Holy Ghost.
Dr. Jerry Grillo:And God woke me up one day and He said, "You can't just explain the kingdom. The kingdom is not just an explainable, informational, teachable concept." And I said, "I don't understand what you're saying." He said, "Paul tried to explain the kingdom to King Agrippa." He said, "I did not attach the kingdom of God, which is inside of you." You have to remember, the kingdom has a system and the system of the kingdom is different than the systems of the Earth.
Dr. Jerry Grillo:Everything in the kingdom flows down and the system of the Earth tries to flow up. In the kingdom, the anointing comes down. The Word says, "If I decrease," what happens in the kingdom? The supernatural increases. Right? And so the kingdom of God — the king sits in Heaven. He's in the supernatural realm. His name is Jesus. There is no other name that we serve. We don't serve Allah. We don't serve Muhammad. We don't serve Buddha. We serve the name that sits at the right hand of God. His name is Jesus.
The Kingdom of God Is Inside You
Dr. Jerry Grillo:But the kingdom realm is not in the heavens. God set the kingdom inside of you and I. The realm of the kingdom, the essence of the kingdom, is in me. It is in you. And it is only released by the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
Philip:Let me interrupt you just for a second. Most of the church has no understanding that this thing is a kingdom. Like the United Kingdom — our country has a king, Charles, not doing a great job, but nonetheless — we are part of a kingdom. We are citizens of a kingdom. And most Christians today just think, "Well, I go to church on Sunday morning and I put some money in the offering and the preacher preaches at me and I go home, well, bless God." We are talking about a kingdom.
Dr. Jerry Grillo:A kingdom. We've catered to the thought that ministry is the pulpit to the pew, but Paul said, "Unto you, I give the gifts." God gave gifts to the church — the apostle, the prophet, the evangelist, the pastor, the teacher — to equip the saints to do the work of the ministry. The kingdom of God is not the pulpit preaching to an ear. The pulpit is to train the ear to assemble and do the kingdom. The kingdom is a government. The word kingdom is a broken-down word. There's a king and dominion. Kingdom means there's a king that has dominion or a realm. And here's a supernatural power. God's realm, God's essence, God's kingdom is not here nor there, but inside of me.
Dr. Jerry Grillo:So the power of the king is not coming to me. The power of the king is coming out of me. When somebody's watching, Philip, their life is getting delivered. The leverage of the Holy Ghost — Jesus said, "It is to your advantage that he comes." That's the kingdom. The essence of the kingdom is the Holy Ghost. He is the Spirit of Christ. He is the essence of Christ. He is not Jesus's last name — the word Christ in the Bible. In the Old Testament, He was the cloud by day. He was the fire by night. This was the Holy Ghost. He was the manna that fed them every morning. They experienced the Philippians miracle — "I'll supply all of your needs according to the riches of Heaven."
Dr. Jerry Grillo:So they were experiencing counterattacks, or moments of the Holy Ghost. But He was always around them, but He was never in them. But after Acts chapter 2, the whole power of the kingdom of God is that it's not just on me, it is also resident inside of me. Hallelujah. So what's around me is happening. If what's inside of me is greater than what's around me, then my mouth becomes a dominion or a demonstration of power. It's all locked inside of me.
Dr. Jerry Grillo:Mike Murdock said to me one day, he said, "When I'm in a problem, I never pray for a deliverer. I don't ask God to send a deliverer to my house." And you know what I asked him, Philip? "Why?" He said, "Because my mouth is my deliverer." What is in my mouth is deciding what is going to happen in my world. There's power in the word of the king. And if the king is resident in me — there's an old hymn — when God looks at me, He no longer sees the things I've done. He only sees the blood of His crucified Son.
Dr. Jerry Grillo:So what you're saying is I have the authority that's been given to me by the king. When I speak, it is unrecognizable in the Devil's ears — me speaking in the name of Jesus, as a representative of Jesus, in the name of Jesus. So when I send my kids out, they go out in my name. So if Andrew calls you to come on Daily Faith, I might not be calling you, but Andrew's calling you, but he's calling you in my name. He bears the weight of my name. He's standing in proxy. Yes. Two words in the Greek that have power. One of them is exousias, one of them is dunamis.
Exousias vs. Dunamis: Authority and Demonstration
Dr. Jerry Grillo:Exousias is authority. Exousias, Greek word power, is when Jesus said, "I've given you authority." Here's the problem. If I don't go into the experience of being baptized in the Holy Ghost, which we are not teaching this — we have tried to take everything in the Book of Acts and stick it into one water baptism, one salvation. When Paul emphatically asked this question, "Since you believed, have you been filled with the Holy Ghost?"
Dr. Jerry Grillo:And he was saying, "So you have exousias. You've been given kingdom authority." But without demonstration, people won't believe you. Demonstration is dunamis. So Jesus said, "Listen, I must go." This is John 15, John 13, John 14, John 16. Jesus is trying to come into the end and he's telling them, "I have to go. Don't ask me where I'm going." This is what Jesus said. Then what he said to them, he said, "Even now, I tell you this truth. Sorrow has filled your heart, even though I'm gonna finish."
Dr. Jerry Grillo:Which dawned on me — when real truth is being preached, the first feeling is not joy. The first feeling is sorrow. Sorrow's the proof truth is laying its weight on you. I'm not always going to church to look for a shout. I want somebody to lay some weight on me. Lay some truth on me. Why? I wanna know where I'm in error, where I'm out of alignment. When I'm out of alignment, I'll miss divine assignment. I need somebody to correct me, 'cause if I can't be corrected, I can't be connected to the dunamis power of the Holy Ghost. I feel like preaching right now.
Dr. Jerry Grillo:I feel like preaching, man of God. Dunamis, dunamis is demonstration. What we have in church right now is a gathering of congregants who know how to sing, who know how to dance, who know how to do flag ministry, but none of us seem to know how to go back into the marketplace and demonstrate the power of the Holy Ghost.
Philip:Boy, that is a truth. May the Holy Ghost oil fill the airways right now, and the essence of the Holy Ghost come outside, inside, all around your children. May your seed's seed be mighty. May your grandbabies be mighty right now. Somebody's watching, somebody's listening, somebody's driving, they're just listening to Daily Faith. May the essence and the oil of the Holy Ghost create a demonstration of power that no demonic spirit, no generational curse shall win in your house.
Sorrow as Proof That Truth Has Weight
Philip:Matter of fact, I wanna tell you something — we have the authority to apply this in our lives. When I pray and I speak the word, when I declare stuff — to the devil, it is indecipherable from my voice from God's voice. He just hears me talking. It's layered. It's layered.
Dr. Jerry Grillo:Yes. It's layered. The Bible is a manuscript. The Bible is not a book of devotion. The Bible's a manuscript of instruction. It is the instruction to assemble the kingdom. It's not just a book of salvation. It's a book of assembling your gifts, your assignments. And it assembles it to edify the king and to build the kingdom. Okay? So it's a system, 2 Chronicles 20:20. We don't wanna talk about the system because we get mad when we preach the system of the kingdom.
Holy Ghost Demonstration in the Marketplace
Dr. Jerry Grillo:The Bible said, "Believe in the Lord thy God." This is 2 Chronicles 20:20. "Believe in the Lord thy God and thou shall be established." So my planting on the earth is predicated on my faith in the Lord my God. The word there, God, is source. So when I know who the source is, all the resources around me have to line up. Glory to God. That's established. Established means what's beneath my feet is now under my command. You don't have to ask it to come to your house. Tell the earth beneath your feet to produce what it's been assigned to produce for you. Why? 'Cause I believe in the Lord thy God. He is my shield. He is my rock.
Dr. Jerry Grillo:But then it said, "Obey the prophets and you shall prosper." So prosperity is linked to a man of God and establishment is linked to God. So my faith links me to the supernatural. My obeying men of God links me to the earth's prosperity. Prosperity links me to who I've honored. Glory to God.
Philip:What blows my mind is the word prosperity has got a bad connotation these days in the church. And yet the Word of God is full of prosperity. He wants to — that's the whole thing. Be fruitful and multiply. He wants you to multiply.
Dr. Jerry Grillo:Well, if you're mad at the word prosperity, Philip and I will shift it to anti-poverty. [laughs] We serve the God of anti-poverty. We serve the God of anti-sickness. If prosperity makes you turn red, then we're just anti-poverty. We just don't believe that there's any good in poverty. But what we don't get is, look at the social media — all they wanna do is attack anyone called of God, because the devil knows that the link of a man of God is the link to prosperity on the earth. It's who I chose to honor.
Dr. Jerry Grillo:I walked into a church the other day and God said, "This church has been here 75 years and the culture of this church has dishonor. It's the culture of no honor." It'll have church. It'll speak in the Holy Ghost. It'll run around in the altars, but it has fired men of God. It has fired moves of God because a deacon, a pew, an elder thinks they run the pulpit. And it's not kingdom. The kingdom flows down. The anointing flows down.
Dr. Jerry Grillo:Let me give you this 'cause I know our time's running out. In 2 Kings chapter 4, the Bible said there was a certain woman and there was a great woman. Same man of God, Elisha, the same prophet. One woman sees the man of God and unlocks the anointing to meet the need. So God calls her certain in the Bible. The other woman sees the man of God, same man of God, and says, "I perceive this is a holy man of God." And she says to her husband, "Let us build a room for him to reside."
Dr. Jerry Grillo:So one saw the man of God and got a miracle. The other honored the man of God and got a legacy. A miracle was for a moment. A miracle paid the bill. A miracle got her out of debt. But the woman that showed honor, which God calls great woman, who recognized what was in the man of God — the Bible said they built him a home. And one day he asked her, "What do you need?" And it dawned on me, where did she position his bedroom? Above hers. The essence of the man of God was leaking in her house.
2 Chronicles 20:20 and Kingdom Prosperity
Dr. Jerry Grillo:And it was fertilizing a barren womb. And he said one day, "How come you got no kids?" And she said, "Oh, nay, man of God, don't you prophesy." He said, "This time next year you shall produce." And which I'm telling you — prosperity was not linked to anything but what she honored. Oh my God, I could preach this honor thing.
Philip:That is the truth. Say that again.
Dr. Jerry Grillo:She honored the man of God and what was in him leaked on her. Let me give you this. Honor is the celebration of difference, the rewarding of someone anointed. This is honor. Honor is different than respect. Respect is an attitude, but honor is a gift in demonstration. Honor makes you unforgettable. Honor is the seed for access. I'm gonna close with this. Honor will make you a fragrance in the kingdom of God instead of an odor.
Dr. Jerry Grillo:Honor. Look what God said. Malachi, "You say I'm your God. You call me your Father." Now look, fatherlessness attracts the curse. God said in the last days, "I'll turn the hearts of the children to the father, hearts of the father back to the children, unless I smite you with a curse." So the power of God is fathership, and here's what God said. "You call me your Father? Where's my honor?" He didn't say, "Where's my love? Where's my worship? Where's your giving?" He said, no, no, no. "Everything about me is how you see my difference. Where's my honor?"
Dr. Jerry Grillo:Give the same gifts to your governors. So honor is demonstrated. The thing that blesses me is I traveled with my kids, my sons, now men in their own rights. The times a folk or a pastor will come up to you and say, "I love how your kids honor you." That is the greatest gift I could ever get from my family, is to be honored. And if it blesses me, how much more does it bless God when we honor Him as our source? When we teach honor, honor will take me further than my genius.
Honor vs. Respect: The Seed for Access
Dr. Jerry Grillo:Because what I honor will follow alongside. But here's what God said. "I will honor them who show honor." It's the return.
