David was looking after sheep. The day that he was told by his father to go down to the valley of Elah to watch and see how his brothers were doing in the battle against the Philistines and take down some cheese and some loaves to his captain. He had no idea that the journey he was embarking upon would lead him to the throne. The one thing that David was, was faithful. His father said, run and read the story. He ran and he ran and he ran. He left the chariot with the keepers of the chariot. All of those things, emblematic of someone that was faithful, someone that was thinking. And he had no idea he was running into the kingdom. Whatever you are in your circumstance, be faithful, be obedient, be willing to answer the call. And when you do so, there's a kingdom waiting for you. And it will change your life. Amen. Amen.
