Intro

Philip:Hey, welcome to Daily Faith today. My name is Philip Cameron, and I am delighted to have you with us. You are gonna meet one of my friends today. God put us together. Have you ever met someone that you just felt you've known all your life? Well, my friend today, Dr. Don Allen, is with us, and he is one of those movers and shakers in the kingdom of God. He's doing amazing stuff, and I went to meet him today. He's got a word from the Lord for you today.
Philip:And I grew up this morning and suddenly it was cold outside. Autumn or fall or winter is on its way. And I felt really bad. And every morning I check — my mom's in Scotland and she's 96 years of age. She lives by herself and I always check the weather to see if her heating's gonna be on and stuff, even from America. And this morning there's a ton of snow in our part of Scotland.
Philip:So I was about to complain about the chill in the air that I felt this morning. I later realized how bad the snow was in Scotland. So I thought, I'm gonna be thankful for what I have. Thank you, Lord Jesus, that I'm not up to my knees in snow.
Philip:I don't know where you are right now, but I wanna tell you something — that God loves you with a love that will never let you go. He's addicted to you. Do you understand? We got little babies. We just had a new baby in our family called Annabelle. And I am addicted to her. I watch her sleep. I watched her yesterday — Andrew and his wife Yemy went out and they gave me the monitor where she was sleeping. And I'm sitting like a crazy man watching this black and white thing. She's not moving, but she's just lying there. And I'm looking and thinking, that is the most perfect thing I've ever seen in my life. Well, I got news for you. That's how God is with you.
Philip:He never slumbers or sleeps. You are the apple of his eye. Now, Annabelle, because she's the youngest of nine grandkids that I have, she at the moment has got me all messed up. I just love her. I love the feel of her skin. And when she laughs — and she's now learned to — yesterday she was clapping, and I sang, clap a clap a handies, because I am in love. Let me tell you something. God loves you with a love that will never let you go. And no matter how much of an orphan you feel in your heart today, he cares about you.
Philip:The Bible says your name is written in the palm of his hands. And I want you to be in peace in your spirit. God has brought this program to you today for a word of encouragement. Daily Faith is to allow you a daily encouragement in the Lord.
Philip:And I hope you'll be part of what our ministry is by sharing. If you share this broadcast, you can tell your friends about it. You can like it and you can watch it on YouTube if you want — youtube.com/dailyfaith. And by doing so, you are helping us share the good news.
Philip:We're living in a world of desperation. I don't know if you know this, but if you watch the news, this world is in a mess and folk need hope. And you can go to dailyfaith.tv — that's our home base. And all our programs are catalogued there if you wanna watch back over them. Any circumstance you are in, we've talked about on Daily Faith. And also there's a shop button. And one of the ways we sponsor our ministry is by folk buying our T-shirts and our baseball hats and our coffee mugs.
Philip:And you can go there, and by doing that you'll be blessed yourself, because some of our T-shirts are really powerful, and help us in the kingdom of God. I am delighted to have Dr. Don Allen with me today. And I'm delighted to have you there too. I'm really thrilled, glad you're here. Welcome to Daily Faith.
Philip:Hello, my friend. Welcome to Daily Faith. My name is Philip Cameron and I am absolutely delighted to have you with us today. God loves you and he cares about your circumstance. You know, the Bible says the very hairs of our head are numbered. I mean, for someone to be interested in how much hair you have on your head — he knows when a sparrow falls to the ground. Now, before the days of these ridiculous computers we have, that sounded so just crazy. He knows when a sparrow falls to the ground, he knows your thoughts. There's nothing not known to God.
Philip:He knows everything and he comes with a conclusion in spite of it all: I love you with a love that will never let you go. And I'm just delighted you are watching this program, 'cause God wants you to watch this program. Something's gonna be said today that's gonna encourage you and bless your heart.
Philip:And I've got a tremendous friend. One of the greatest men of God I've met is Dr. Don Allen. He pastors a ridiculous church called the Church at War Hill. And he also has a radio station in the Atlanta area. It's called Victory Radio. And you can listen to it wherever you are in the world. If you're watching this program and you go online just to victory.radio, you can listen to this great, powerful, powerhouse radio station premiering gospel in the Atlanta area. So I'm just so excited to have him here today.
Philip:As many of you know, we have a mission work in Eastern Europe. I need you to pray. This morning I was awakened early. Russia has attacked Odessa. We have a home in Odessa where we've rescued young girls and they stay there. And this morning it says 10 killed and 44 injured. And they have these drones that are sitting over the city and they are wreaking havoc. It may even be going on still as we are speaking right now. Please pray for our girls in Odessa.
Philip:We were talking this morning in the wee hours about having to move them from Odessa back into Kyiv. We did this when the war broke out for a year. And please pray, because the one thing we don't want is a house full of young girls to be caught by Russian soldiers. And the thing that's terrifying us is the fact that there are 10,000 North Korean soldiers that have been injected into the Russian army. This could be unbelievable.
Philip:And I don't know if you noticed or heard the news that President Biden has released the Ukrainians to use the missiles that we've given them for offensive — to start attacking Russia. And that could turn into an absolute coma, way worse than it is, because Europe — the Russian theater of war concept is that they can use a nuclear device to decimate a city. The American doctrine of war is, once you push that button, all bets are off.
Philip:Putin thinks that if he can flatten Ukraine — Kyiv — then he'll get the country and they can let Kyiv sit in ruin for a thousand years. So we are literally today one step closer to a nuclear war. And we need to be praying and asking God to protect this situation.
Philip:And I know it's been politicized and people are talking about, oh, Ukraine doesn't need help and all that. And I get all that. But I know 10 girls sitting right now in a house in Odessa that are listening to missiles going off. And I'm called of God to help them and care for them. That's our mandate from God. So please pray.
Philip:We have an amazing place called Vater Village, which is in Moldova — in the capital of Moldova, which is the next country to Ukraine. That house of the red roof is about three to four hours away from our girls in Odessa. And we take them into these homes — girls that are desperately poor or from orphanages and are at the risk of being trafficked. Every girl you're looking at, if a trafficker gets her, she's worth $300,000 a year to the trafficker.
Philip:Every single girl — every three girls you are watching in this video, you are watching a million dollars a year income if they can get them. And we take them to Vater Village, we put them back in school, we share the gospel with them. And we are seeing some of the most ridiculous miracles take place. Orphans turning into sons and daughters and then becoming missionaries. And I want you to meet one of the girls. Her name is Nadia. She and her two sisters — three sisters all together — live with us in Vater Village. Watch this video.
Nadia:My name is Nadia, and I am currently pursuing a master's degree in leadership and training. Growing up in a family with nine children was both a challenge and a blessing. We lived in a tiny house where all nine of us crammed into one room while our parents slept in the kitchen. My mom and dad didn't have a formal education, which meant my dad worked tirelessly in construction while my mom devoted herself to caring for us.
Nadia:Our childhood was tough. There were days when we struggled to find something to eat in the cold winter. We often bundled up in layers of clothing just to stay warm while we slept. Celebrating birthdays felt impossible. We simply couldn't afford special meals. Yet somehow God never abandoned us. He always looked after us in ways we couldn't even see.
Nadia:From the age of six, we would rise before dawn around 4:00 AM to work the fields so we could have something to eat. This often made us late for school, and other kids sometimes teased us, even bullying us because of our poverty. Those moments were painful, but they also shaped us. We learned to lean on each other, to support one another through every hardship.
Nadia:When I finished high school, deep down I knew my parents wouldn't have the resources to help me continue my education. But their lack of schooling inspired me to seek out new paths for myself. So when I discovered the Orphan's Hands, it felt like a miracle. I could hardly believe that such a family existed, one that could offer us so much hope and support.
Nadia:When I first arrived at Vater Village and saw the beautiful homes, my heart was overwhelmed. Our house had none of those comforts. We didn't even have a bathroom or proper flooring. In that moment, I truly understood the depth of God's goodness through the Orphan's Hands family. I felt enveloped in God's love in a way I had never experienced before.
Nadia:My heartfelt encouragement to you is to place your trust in God, no matter the circumstances. Find the courage to hold on during life's challenges, because it's often in those struggles that new beginnings emerge. Remember, this is not the end — it is just the start of something beautiful.
Philip:Wow. It's amazing what grace can do. The traffickers don't look for bad girls. They're looking for innocent girls. They're looking for girls that aren't sure, and they offer them a job — a waitress, a babysitter, whatever. Get in the car, we'll take you there. And that's how they get them.
Philip:And to watch that story, to know that a family — three kids in a family — are rescued by you. Someone like you gives a dollar a day, you can change a life for $1 a day. I think if these girls are worth $300,000 to the trafficker, I think they're worth a dollar a day to the church. Don't you think so?
Philip:And if you could stand with us — we have just given the go-ahead to open two new houses. They'll house 50 smaller kids, and this property has got a great big barn on it. We're gonna make a camp, and it's right on the Romanian side of Moldova. So we can take all the kids from Ukraine and all the kids from Chișinău, 'cause they're in the red zone for Russia also, and move them all to the western side of Moldova to save their lives.
Philip:We just need someone to believe with us and stand with us. You can write to us today: Daily Faith, PO Box 25, Clinton, Tennessee 37716. You can also go on dailyfaith.tv — that's the quickest way. There's a giving page there. Or you can dial 833, then just dial on the keypad of your phone, Daily Faith. And a real-life person will pick up the phone and talk to you.
Philip:And I believe that our men and women right now — that God's blessed you in your business — you may be able to sponsor a whole home where you can be a part of this miracle that's unfolding every day. When we reach out beyond our world, I promise you, God will reach out beyond his world into yours. And I know one thing: to the measure that you give, that's the same measure that you'll receive. Pray about helping us if you would. I really appreciate it.
Philip:My friend Dr. Don Allen has become a great resource and a wealth in my life. He's got a crazy amount of faith. Rarely do you get a guy that you sit and talk with and you think, I wish I could do this. And you admire his faith. And he pastors the Church at War Hill in Dawsonville, Georgia, with his wife Christina. And I'm delighted — Pastor Don, thank you so much for being with us today. I am so glad to see you. How are you doing, my friend?

Dr. Don Allen's Healing Miracle Revealed

Dr. Don Allen:Hey buddy, it is good to see you. I am blessed — getting to hear those testimonies and blessed to be with my friend. I do have a problem right off the bat though.
Philip:Oh, go on.
Dr. Don Allen:We gotta get a new picture, 'cause I look forward to being on here with you every year, and the picture y'all have — I'm still bald in that picture, and God has done a miracle and I didn't even ask for it. I have hair now. So we really need your team to update that picture.
Philip:Well, listen, I can't update a picture unless you send it to us. Now, joking apart — I went for watching. Pastor Don isn't messing around. He was deathly sick, has gone through a tremendous physical battle, and he was bald. And the Lord has healed him to the point that he has got his hair back. So that's a real miracle. Tell us how you're doing, give us an update.

Pastoring Through Serious Illness

Dr. Don Allen:Well, it was a horrible experience to have people come up in the middle of my sickness saying, can you lay hands on me so I can grow hair again too? Because of what you've received from God. And I'm like, no. But I am just so thankful to be with you on Daily Faith, and I do have a lot of great things I'd love to share with you.
Philip:Please.
Dr. Don Allen:But I want people to know how much we believe in this, and our church became a supporter this year of this ministry, because we want to see these girls rescued. And I don't know what it will cost to move a girl from that region out of the way of the army, but would love to — do we even have a rough estimate on what they would cost?

Congregation's Response to Healing

Philip:No, I mean, this happened this morning. These are missiles.
Dr. Don Allen:Oh, okay.
Philip:They've got these drones that can sit over a city and just release missiles, and there's of course no defense against them. So this is just — as we're making this program, when I finish with you, I've gotta go and call Moldova and Ukraine to see what's happening. It's in such a flux right this minute. We did buy a van a few months ago, and it's sitting in Odessa with diesel in it, so that if necessary, they can get in there and drive to the border.

Church at War Hill Ministry Overview

Philip:The problem is, the last time when the Russians invaded the first time and started this war, all the roads — instead of being two-lane roads, they became one way out of Ukraine. And we couldn't get our van in to get them. And it took us days to get them out. So we bought a van. It's sitting there just now. So we know that we can get them out immediately. It's just that all of our homes and Vater Village are full of young folks. So that's what we're talking about with Moldova, even as this program is going on.
Dr. Don Allen:Well, those supporting — those who are giving a dollar a day — so much during this time.
Philip:Absolutely.
Philip:I'm sorry, I'm missing it. Until we get that fixed, let me explain what's happening in Ukraine at this moment. We received word this morning that the Russians last night had missiles and these drones — I forget the name of the drones, I had it on the article I was reading. Geraniums, I think they're called. And they literally sit over the city and release missiles. And 10, I believe 10 have been killed so far.

Victory Radio Gospel Broadcasting

Philip:And this is a whole new phase of war that's starting out. Russia has taken 10,000 North Korean soldiers. North Korean soldiers are not nice people. Can we try and see if we've resolved the problem with Pastor Don? Let's try it again.

Bold Faith in Personal Crisis

Dr. Don Allen:Can you hear me at all?
Philip:Yes.
Dr. Don Allen:Okay. Well, I don't want the enemy to stop what God has. I believe I have a word for you.
Philip:Well, let's try again.
Dr. Don Allen:You know, I wanna thank all —
Philip:It's gone bad again, Don. It's gone bad again. It's gone out again. Okay. Let's stop here and let's try and reset this thing and try and do it again. And I'll just finish off — I've got 10 minutes left in this program. I'll just keep on talking to our guests and we'll get back to you. Okay. Thank you, my friend.
Philip:So what I need you to pray about right this minute is this whole new thing that's taken place in the last 24 hours. President Biden — I don't know whether he is just trying to cause trouble as he is walking out the door or not — but he allowed, yesterday, Ukraine to use the offensive missiles that we gave for defense to start hitting back at the Russians. And I forget, I think it's Kursk or somewhere like that, that they've taken 10,000 North Korean soldiers into the country to fight against the Ukrainians.
Philip:So what's gonna happen is that now Biden, in response to that, is saying, use the missiles, attack any way you want. And so we could literally have a beginning of a desperate situation. And so let the Lord use you, pray over us.
Philip:War Church — the Church at War Hill, where Pastor Don pastors — is an incredible church. And if you're anywhere in the North Georgia area, go to his church. Their website is www.warhill.com. And his personal webpage is www.donallen.org. Get in contact. And also the radio station — I've been there many times. The radio station is Victory Radio. Whatever you're watching in the world, you can go on there right this minute and you can hear some of the great guests and the great hosts on the show.

Encouragement for Those Facing Trials

Philip:And so we love you guys. Pray for us. I'm gonna take this as the Lord leading me to release on this TV thing and go and check to see what's happening over in Ukraine. We're glad you were with us today. We'll talk to you again. Bye-bye.
For over 25 years, the Cameron family has been changing the lives of orphans in Romania and Moldova — from providing running water, flushing toilets, and clean wells, to coal for heat, new windows, as well as food and clothing. They champion the physical needs of the orphans in these broken and desolate countries.
Many of Moldova's orphans are saved from the horrors of trafficking through homes founded by the Camerons. And in the process, orphans become daughters and sons. They come to know their heavenly Father and are forever changed by the love of Jesus.
God helped the Camerons lift these amazing young men and women out of darkness — now no longer orphans. They wanna return and invade that very same darkness with the light of Jesus Christ. The Orphan's Hands equips these daughters and sons to become missionaries. Your monthly gift of $31 will allow us to rescue and take in more girls and boys, saving them from the hell of human trafficking.
Your monthly partnership will allow us to care for those in the Orphan's Hands homes in Moldova and Ukraine. If you want to join Philip and Chrissy in taking care of these precious young people, please contact us today by calling 833-Daily-Faith. You can also give by going online to www.dailyfaith.tv, or by writing to Post Office Box 25, Clinton, Tennessee 37716. So many lives depend on what we do. Thank you for loving the lost.

Common questions

What is Vater Village and what does it do for at-risk girls?

Vater Village is a home in Moldova where Philip Cameron's ministry takes in girls who are desperately poor or from orphanages and at risk of being trafficked. They put the girls back in school, share the gospel with them, and Philip describes seeing 'orphans turning into sons and daughters and then becoming missionaries.'

Why are the girls in Odessa in danger and what is the ministry doing about it?

Russian drone attacks — Philip calls them 'Geraniums' — were striking Odessa at the time of filming, with 10 people killed and 44 injured. The ministry has a van sitting in Odessa with diesel in it so the girls can be driven to the border immediately if needed, and Philip was actively discussing moving them to Kyiv or to the western side of Moldova during the episode.

How much is a trafficked girl worth to a trafficker, and how does the ministry use that to make the case for giving?

Philip says each girl is worth $300,000 a year to a trafficker, meaning every three girls represent a million dollars a year in trafficking income. He uses that figure to argue that if traffickers value these girls that highly, supporters should be willing to give at least a dollar a day to protect them.

What is Nadia's story and how did Vater Village change her life?

Nadia grew up in a family of nine children crammed into one room, waking at 4 AM to work fields just to eat, and knowing her parents couldn't fund her education. When she found the Orphan's Hands and arrived at Vater Village, she says her heart was overwhelmed by the homes' comforts — her own house had no bathroom or proper flooring. She is now pursuing a master's degree in leadership and training.

What miracle happened to Pastor Don Allen's health?

Pastor Don went through a serious illness that left him completely bald. He says God healed him to the point that his hair has grown back — a miracle he notes he didn't even ask for. Philip confirms that Don 'was deathly sick' and has gone through 'a tremendous physical battle,' and that the hair regrowth is a visible sign of his recovery.
