God wants you to get to your next level!

You know I'm going to talk about her again. Annabelle, my granddaughter, is just driving me crazy. She is growing and now she's in the speaking phase. She's understood what I've said for a while now, but just putting the words together and oh my goodness, if you saw the struggle to try to connect words to tell me what she wants to do. That's like our walk with the Lord. Sometimes we can understand stuff but we just don't know how to talk about where we want to go. Where you are, wherever you are, in whatever circumstance you find yourself in, God loves you and he is continually encouraging you to get to the next level, the next step. The Bible says he's changing us from glory to glory. And the wee girl that now walks around and comes out with words and she loves singing, she sings all the time. This wee girl has no idea that every element of growth and every bit she puts on the building blocks of our life, she is getting better and stronger and going to reach further in her whole life. It's exactly the same with you. Sometimes we are our own worst critics. We think we're not making progress but oh I tell you what, you've got a father that's very proud. She's got a grandfather that's pretty proud and her dad's kind of proud too. But you've got a heavenly father that watches you and every time you take the next step in the next realm of growth, you are thrilling his heart. You're doing good. Don't quit. Keep growing because the best is yet to come and it's going to change your life.
